It was a good place, however not perfect. Honestly 99.9% of the information is NOT English. You can watch photos, books, things but without understating a single word. From 3 floors, only 1 was used. The other two were inactive. The place was quite cozy, so was a good experience, but has a lot to improve.

A beautiful building and nice place to visit but as many people have said and have left reviews about, there is little effort to have any English (the language of travel) or other languages for foreign visitors but that is pretty typical in Japan. Where as an exhibit will have a full description in Japanese it may just be labeled ‘armor’ in English.

We learned about the history and culture of Nagoya through the exhibition of important cultural properties and ancient documents.

It’s my first time to visit this place. If you are a type of person that likes History, architecture, and archives. This place is for you. Entrance is fee, pictorial is free also. When I visited this place, a newly wed couple picked this place for their pictorials.

Beautiful building and the displays about the old courtrooms and old Nagoya photos were more interesting than I would have expected. Free to visit and there are benches outside to relax.

Great bit of history just outside of downtown Nagoya. It's a beautiful building and there are always so many cats around!

Very interesting but the explanations should be translated at least into english, as there are many tourists.
