Right outside of the train station, ♥️ A department store with all you need many floors. Loved the basement one with all the food. If you are a tourist, you get 5% discount for all takashimaya items you buy. Found great food finds for discounted before closing in takashiyama super yummy. Japan 🇯🇵

A train station in between the mall. One of the best malls in Nagoya! Lovely and very polite helpful staff. Will surely go back!!

JR (Nagoya) Takashimaya is one of the 3 towers of the JR Central Towers. It has a department store of same name (B2 - 11F, refer the pic) and above the department store are 2 floors of restaurants (12,13) and offices from 16 -50. Then there is the 51st floor which can be accessed by a different elevator with a few restaurants with great city view. Check out the fresh food section, a whole floor full of sweets and cake shops and a reasonably good alcohol section on B1 and B2. The groceries section at the basement is one of the best in town. Some of the items (specially some veggies) you wont find in most supermarkets. The way they pack the meat and give is super clean and tidy. Some items like fruits could be a bit too expensive though.

At the front of JR Nagoya Takashimaya there is a pop up store for Blue Bottle Coffee ! They are open till the 27th of April 2023 and serve delicious coffee with branches across Japan. The waffles they make are exceptionally tasty but do be prepared for a line as many people will queue for this. If you like their coffee you can even purchase their blend which they sell as well. Got the Latte and Belgian waffle

Wonderful department store, chock full of the best things that money can buy! The sights, sounds and smells can be a bit of sensory overload, but it's all so very interesting. If you are looking for something special for the folks back home, Takashimaya probably has it. The customer service is outstanding, The staff will lead you around the store until the item you're looking for is found. An awesome place!

Takashimaya department store is a place for us to enjoy Christmas atmosphere. On the first floor, they set up a large scale Christmas decoration on a stage, and lots of people stop to enjoy them. Even our children don't want to leave ever since they were little. The illumination is especially beautiful on the 15th floor where the Marriott Hotel entrance is located. The Christmas trees are lined up in a row, and together with the Nagoya night view, it is very beautiful. Every year, the Marriott Hotel holds a Santa Claus event. When we attended the event a few ​years ago, the Santa read a picture book for kids and they received Santa-shaped cookies. He looked like the real Santa, so the kids were so thrilled to meet him. The Christmas illuminations of Nagoya Station is also beautiful, with the trees decorated with illuminated lights. We sometimes take a walk from Nagoya Station to Fushimi Station and then Sakae Station to enjoy the Christmas feeling.

High end department store. As with all Japanese departments, the services are excellent. Able to find cosmetics recommended by our friends.

The rating is given for its convenience and its supermarket. It is located near to the train station and we were pleased to be able to find what we wanted such as being able to find a whole pack of Yakult here while unable to find in Don Quijote. Fresh fruits such as banana and the apples were juicy and "sweet". Once you paid for your items, right behind is the table to pack your stuff with ice packs and plastic bags, which is only seen here in Takashimaya. #tourist

The ''JR Central Towers'' building complex at JR Nagoya station has entered the Guinness Book of World Records as the world's largest facility built over a railway station.

This store and massive and amazingly they have just about everything you could ever look for. Be sure to check out the food in B2 and B1 and there is a Tokyu Hands from 6F to 11F

Nice cafe near the station to chill. This store offers a lunch menu as well in addition to drinks and desserts.

Nice shopping center with so many items available, from the cheap ones, until the high end products

stored our luggage there. Great and reasonable price.
