Nice staff and a cute bar. They normally charge to sit on the couch but since it was early they let us sit there (I’m a big guy and can’t handle stools) my only negative was the lightly poured cocktails. Less than 1 ounce in a tall glass. Definitely not a gay pour.

Literally the nicest men I’ve met in Tokyo. I’m a westerner, who doesn’t speak much Japanese, so I’ve felt out of place at times. They were very welcoming, and happy to suggest other clubs

A bit hidden (interior staircase!) but worth it for a very inviting, warm experience. The owner and crew were so welcoming and kind. Thank you for your hospitality on our last night in Shibuya! We'll definitely be back the next time we're in Tokyo :)

What a blast and wonderful night I gotta to spend during my 24 hr layover in Tokyo! The owner Takejiro is absolutely amazing. He welcomes everyone and treats every customer like his old friend. We sang karaoke until 4am!!! I highly recommend everyone who wants to feel an inclusive and great vibes to come by - drink, sing and make friends!!! ❤️❤️❤️❤️

Small bar hidden on the 4th floor near Shibuya station My partner and I chose this place since it was close to our hotel in Shibuya. It went beyond our expectations! It is a mixed bar. Welcome to forigeners and is friendly to all orientations. Anyone who wants an intimate drink, be themselves and feel like HOME come here. Thank you Take-san for the lovely conversation and refreshing drink on a chilly night in Shibuya.

French traveller on a 16 hour layover to Paris, decided to spend my night in Shibuya. After exploring, eating dinner, buying souvenirs, ... I wanted to get a general sense of the local gay scene. From the moment I stepped in the bar I thoroughly enjoyed every second. Takejiro San and his assistant Kembow San were so friendly, kind and frankly hilarious, the greatest hosts possible. I am French and do not speak a word of Japanese and yet I felt like I belonged there with the rest of the clientele. The cocktails are great and singing karaoke till the end of the night was everything (French and English songs for me) ! I cannot write enough words to express how happy and grateful I am. I could not have hoped of a better way to end my short-lived stay. Cannot wait to come back to Shibuya Gay Bar. Until then, I will keep the sweetest memory 🙂

Had one of my favorite nights in Tokyo here. The bartenders truly make you feel like you walked into your best friends living room. I can’t recommend this place highly enough

Cozy safe space in Shibuya! Came here on my first and last nights in Tokyo and learned so much about the local community and culture and even got some Japanese vocabulary lessons 😂 Take-san is so welcoming and good at introducing patrons to each other. It’s kinda tricky to find as it’s on the third floor of a building with a lot of other bars but look for the flag. Thanks for making me feel at HOME on my first visit to Tokyo!
