Delicious baked goods, real espresso machine, surprisingly good pizza. It’s a cute, warm cafe. Nice set of scones, cookies, cream puffs, and small loaves of bread baked fresh. There’s not a ton of variety but there’s probably something for everyone and the prices are reasonable. The carrot cake was cold and more moist than cakey, which is fine, just something to be aware of. They do the basic set of espresso drinks. I don’t think they did drip coffee, or maybe only in the morning, but they’ll do an Americano. There are several tables and I never saw it so full we couldn’t get one, morning or afternoon.

Flat white in Japan! After 5 days in Japan I finally had a good coffee. Then I realized they make pizza as well. Had a chat with Nicola, one of the bakers and he himself rated the pizza 8.5/10. 19 being the best pizza in Italy. His reason: the cheese is not the same as in Italy. We ordered a Margarita, a Prosciutto, and a Salami. To me it was an 8. The base was perfect, so was the sauce, and I didn’t mind the cheese but it was missing basil on margarita and rocket on Prosciutto. Overall I was surprisingly impressed. Definitely a good choice if you want to take a break from the wonderful Japanese cuisine for a dinner. Highly recommend.

Loved the pastries and the atmosphere. We unfortunately could not stay to eat in, but could buy the yummy things to go. Pretzel with cheese was as it should be, I can recommend the apple tart as well. The eat-in part had a Swiss/European mountain chalet vibe, next time we will definitely stay for a coffee!

Such a lovely spot! They had a gluten free chocolate dessert that was so delicious! The gluten-y items looked great too. The staff was very friendly and spoke English. Hoping to go back sometime!

We came here every morning before hitting the slopes- lovely vibes, great coffee, DELICIOUS food. Every pastry/pretzel/pizza we tried was so fresh and so tasty. The staff were also super friendly & helpful.

Decent local bakery. The lemon cake was a little too sweet for my taste, and the hot chocolate was a bit watery. Though the quiche was delicious. Service was very friendly.

This place is a real gift! Amazing coffee, delicious bakery treats and pizzas plus we were lucky enough to enjoy melted raclette over potatoes and pickled cabbage on the weekend outside the bakery, paired with a delicious wine. Stayed at Akari in the 3 bedroom townhouse in Feb 23’ the experience was fantastic all around. The apartment itself was well set out with plenty of space for 7 of us. The location is only a few minutes walk the the closest lift and most importantly next door the the bakery with great coffee. Gab and the team couldn’t do enough to answer any questions and help make our stay a very enjoyable one. We will certainly be going back.

So don’t be intimidated by the highly detailed PDF you get when you book! They are very relaxed and helpful. Our room was great, excellent view and had plenty of charging points. Easy walk to the ski lift. The bakery does decent food. Good pizza and calzone.

I just popped in for some takeaway foods but, the pastries were really good. The coffee looked legit also! It seems like the calzones are pretty special here. I’d like to go back and try them! Next time I will dine in, the environment feels nice

We rented the 4 bedroom unit for two families (8 people total). It was amazing. 1. Super clean 2. Lots of space 3. Convenient location 4. Incredible shower 5. Comfortable beds. ... but the real bonus was the incredibly friendly staff and the WORLD CLASS bakery downstairs. Hope to be back sometime and will absolutely stay here again when we return

Small little bakery below Akari House. We were looking for lunch (at around 2pm) and ended up here. We wanted to order a pizza but they only start serving at 4pm. We ordered a flat white and an apple juice. We got two pastries and a cheesecake. Very relaxing environment.

One snowy night we ordered pizza from here for a nice dinner in. The pizza was yummy and there were several topping options. We had bakery treats for breakfast in the morning as well and they were warm and delicious.

I was looking for somewhere to grab a piece of cake for my birthday and this bakery offered to bake me a birthday cake!! The cake was absolutely beautiful, super reasonably priced and so so delicious! They even gave us candles!!! Thank you so so much it made my day!

The staff are very welcoming and greeted us with warm smiles. We have come for dessert and hot chocolate and then coffee and breakfast the next morning, everything was delicious! Cash only, but reasonably priced.
