Delicious vegan cafe near shopping streets. The staff was very kind and spoke English. We can recommend the Passionfruit Tea and Oreo Cheesecake Tea! We want to come again!

I only had the rainbow cake, but I can tell one thing - it was amazingly good. I am sure the other stuff tastes just as good as this one. And the staff was super nice and friendly too. Must visit for anyone, not just vegans.

This gorgeous place is entirely gluten free! The owners are vegan and their child is severely gluten intolerant, so a year or so ago (approximately) they changed the cafe to be vegan and gluten free. They even have Bonsoy soy milk which is hard to find in Tokyo and definitely the best soy milk. Plus they do chai lattes!! I was so happy! The rainbow cake is such a feature and tastes great but omg the chocolate truffles they had were excellent and we got a box to take away. We also had the vegetarian pizza and the sausage pizza and both were delicious! I definitely recommend this place if you’re going to Asakusa. 😊

Awesome cakes!! Beautiful AND tasty! Their “cheese” tea is also really good with a nice blend of salty and sweet. Will definitely go back to try their savory lunch options!

I was beyond excited to find a gluten free/ dairy free cafe in Tokyo. We had the vegan pizza and chocolate cake. The vegan pizza was the best I’ve ever had and the chocolate cake was so rich and delicious.

In addition to their cake, steamed buns, sweets, drinks, you can also buy Naturli vegan butter, Oatly oat milk, and vegan jerky and meat floss here.

The rainbow cake was soooooo goood !! It was super moist and the cream wasn’t too sweet. It was so hard to believe it was vegan! The smoothie was really good too. Will be back shortly!!

Lovely cafe that caters for vegans but I think everything on the menu is gluten-free, so as a coeliac, I was delighted. The Mont Blanc cake was decadent but delicious. The small individual pizza's are gluten-free and very tasty, if a little messy to eat. They offer a discount if you order multiple items.

MOST DELICIOUS VEGAN BURGER - There are 2 types of burgers - with a salt & pepper patty (the one in the photo) and smoked pieces. TASTIEST VEGAN CAKE - I usually do not like vegan desserts but this was delicious! It was super moist, not too much cream and absolutely tasty! Highly recommend it!! STAFF - They were super nice and friendly. One of them speaks fluent English, so she can clear your doubts, if you have any.

Shochikuen Cafe is one of the bet places to eat in Asakusa. It’s located right near Kappabashi-dori (Tokyo’s Kitchen Town), which is also near the Sumida River. They have a fun menu with lots of different entrees, drinks, and desserts. The staff is very helpful and friendly and make your whole experience here very worthwile.

Really lovely little café. Nice atmosphere and good food. The smoothies are especially delicious! And the rainbow cake is a very unique experience. On top of that, the staff is absolutely lovely. Highly reccomend if you need gluten free/vegetarian/vegan food!

In this tucked away little shop, you can find vegan treats. While the price may be somewhat steep to some, it is a great place for vegan cake. Their famous rainbow cake is delicious and not too greasy. You can taste the different flavors of the layers. The seasonal chestnut cake was also super delicious! Recommended!

Had an unplanned visit here as it looked nice. Ordered the vegetarian sausage pizza and was served the vegetable one instead, seemingly by mistake. The pizza is gluten-free… and to those restricted to gluten-free diet maybe they are good enough, but I wasn’t impressed by the taste or the size. I also got an iced chocolate drink, which was better.

Owner is very friendly and also vegan. Cafe location is also very unique but at very quite place where one can enjoy and eat peacefully. Food is tasty and will be trying other menu items too in future ✌️✌️

The chestnut cake was delicious, and as someone gluten-free, it was nice to be able to try the flavor. I’m thankful there are places like this in Japan where you can order anything on the menu and not have to worry about the ingredients. I wish they had longer hours so we could have gone a second time, they are only open in the middle of the day. I really wanted to try the naturally dyed cake! Next trip.

For vegetarian lovers, this is a place that you can visit for a quick bite. It is really to look for vegan food in Tokyo so this is a rare gem. I really like the burger with the juicy omimeat patty and the bread really taste good.

All vegan and gluten-free! impressive cakes and delicious burgers. If you've got a sweet tooth I would definitely recommend the cakes. I was impressed about the flavours. I ate the rainbow cake and each layer is coloured with different veggie or fruit. The burgers were also delicious! I had the Yuki burger that it's a bit smokey and comes with avocado. I definitely recommend this little place and, if you have the chance, don't forget to have a chat with the lovely owner.

I was attracted by the rainbow cake board on the road. So surprised that they serve vegetarian cakes and burgers. We tried the vegan rainbow cake. Every layer is made from different vegi that have different natural taste. So amazing! Must try!

Highly recommended! The best tapioca milk tea I've ever try in Tokyo. I had the vegan salty creamcheese milktea with tapioca size M (around 500yen and portion was big) and the vegan creamcheese layer was so creamy and nice, a little bit of saltiness balance out the whole sweetness of the tapioca and milktea, also tapioca is chewy which i like alot. The owner is always cheerful and friendly, overall experience was wonderful.
