best vegetarian friendly restaurant I found in nara. the price was low (700 yen for falafel pita & I believe 500 yen for the homemade soda float) the flavor was unreal. friendly owners, great atmosphere, delicious food. this restaurant is a must try when visiting nara!

A charming little retro themed cafe along a quiet street. Packed with personality. The owners are awesome people, only wish we spoke more japanese so we could have commumicated with them better~ Food and drinks are home made and taste delicious. Would definitely go there again if I found myself in that area :)

Good food and friendly atmosphere. The owners kindly highlighted other restaurants nearby with vegetarian options and offered a crash course in Japanese punk. Would definitely recommend

Amazing food with a great soundtrack! Their homemade nattō (fermented soy beans) and ginger ale are the best! My favorite place in Nara!

We happened upon this place while touring around Nara with bikes and wanted to eat something away from the hustle and bustle. At first glance you think you've landed in a music lover's shop. But the owner also serves delicious vegetarian food with international music. We also had a very nice chat with him and got a mixtape from him as a present. Staying there was a nice experience!

I had the great falafel plate as well as the sweet ginger tea. Both were yummy and I enjoyed the cozy restaurant’s interior. They have DJ’s playing music and the selection is so good! I would go back to pleased to meet me just for the music!

I went to a place recommended by the owner, a very nice guy! The food was delicious (vegetarian curry)! The atmosphere of the shop was full of Showa feeling and the music was wonderful!

Very tasty falafel and a good selection of IPAs. Fantastic atmosphere and music, tasteful vintage decorations, well worth a visit for that alone. Very friendly proprietor who speaks English. Note that payment is cash only (but there is an ATM at the nearby Lawson).
