Gotta love Pokemon. I'm a 90s kid so basically I grew up in the Pokemon era. This place is a must visit to people who love Pokemon. There are plenty of toys and items here for your collection.

This store is very easy to find. Right at the bus stop, visible from the street. Just go up the escalator or staircase. The area only has the Pokémon store, it is not shared with a bunch of other stores like in Osaka. We arrived about 10 minutes before the store opened and we were pleasantly surprised by the staff neatly organizing people in lines in preparation of the doors opening. Once it was 10am, they guided pine by line inside and waited until more space became available inside. The store had lots of plushies, of which also the three kimono Pikachu. They also had stickers, TCG related items, food and snacks, accessories, socks and more. Their displays are a large Lugia, a Pikachu riding a Ho-Oh, a kimono Pikacho and the scarlet &violet starters. The check-out line is separated from the store area, so people won't crowd up the aisles while waiting to pay for their things. Staff at checkout was super friendly and helpful. The Kyoto Pokémon Center is a million times nicer and better organized than the one in Osaka. If you are going to both cities, I'd recommend this center, no doubt.

This Pokemon Centre was a great find compared to outlets in other cities. It has a lot more order and the space is much larger. The queue for the cashier is separated from the merchandise, such that you can look at the merchandise without bumping into the queue. There are also unique products here such as scent bags that look like charms.

Went here for my son. It is located on the second floor. There is an escalator that can take you near the entrance. I didn't seen any overly obvious signage, so we had to look around for a few mins to find it. Good sized store, but not massive considering how big of a brand Pokemon is. Lots of branded merchandise, but it didn't seem that they had a lot of actual cards. You could buy packs of cards at the check out, but there was a limit to how many you could buy.

The art figures are beautiful in this store. When we went there was an event where if you signed up you got a free snorlax sticker. Huge selection of toys and products on sale. Mezastar arcade machines and a coin printing machine which is a cool souvenir to take home for 200 yen. The entry is up the escalator from the main road above the book store. It was a bit hard to find at first.

always love going to the pokemon center in japan! everything is cute and they got the whole range pokemon's plush to choose from. always easy to get presents or souvenirs for the kids, no matter which pokemon they love. for sure my favourite is Pikachu. unfortunately it's having less and less new product; mostly replaced by the new generation. and i hoped to have some kyoto limited edition too but there's none. the shop is relatively quiet, so the cashier line is quick.

Pokemon! What else is there to say? All the Pokemon merch you'd need is available, well maybe most of them. Since this store is not amongst the big ones in terms of size and merch choices. However it is still fun to visit if you're a Pokemon fan. The store is located in the second floor of the SUINA Muromachi through the elevator outside. All of the clerks have huge smiles, also another plus for the store.

Having been to the Pokemon Centre in Tokyo, I think this Kyoto one is much better! It is overall much less crowded so you get a better experience and it seems to have a more extensive selection of merchandise, including Kyoto exclusive items!

The only Pokemon centre in Kyoto and it's awesome. It's a little bit away from the main shopping strip but worth a visit. Make sure you pick up the exclusive Kyoto Pikachu plush toy. Well organised and loads of stock. Like all the Pokemon centres there are some cute displays too.

I LOVE THE POKÉMON CENTER!!! It was a lifelong dream to come here, and it didn’t disappoint! I bought several pens, pokeballs, and pokémon that fit inside. This is a great place to visit no matter if you’re an adult, a child, or anywhere in between! GOTTA CATCH EM ALL!!! P.S. I am a small artist from Orlando, FL. If you would like to check me out, I’m on Spotify, Apple, Soundcloud, etc. as “hunterdrinkswater.” Thanks for reading my review! God bless you!

Located at the shopping strip and on 2nd floor. Lots of soft toys. The shop is not too big. It is my 1st visit to Pokémon shop and it is eye openers. Lots of figurines. No queue to enter but there is a queue for the purchasing cashier.

This is a delight for Pokemon fans. They have special edition Kyoto Pikachus as well. Plus an array of dolls, socks, edible items and so many things to see here. Really loved this Pokemon center the most. The staff are kind, helpful and the store itself was clean and big. We really enjoyed it here.

Amazing Pokémon center 🐰 you can find almost everything you want, from plushies 🧸to food 🍪, stationery ✏️ or goodies. There are a lot of special Kyoto edition, plushies and goodies. It’s really crowded during weekends.

Pokemon centers, like this are the dreams of young people came true. The offer is just amazing and whatever Pokemon has been your favourite when you were a chid or now, you can find it here. In many Pokemon centers you have special figures. The huge variety of different toys is simply amazing. Friendly staff.

It feels like this Pokémon Centre was overhyped and as such I was a bit underwhelmed to find it the same if not worse than other centres I've seen. Claims were made regarding this Centre having the best exclusives, but most were sold out, including the Halloween ones which made this trip largely feel like a waste of time. Unlike the other centres, this one is not connected to a major shopping center so it makes a less worthwhile daytrip.

A bit out of the way, but if you like Pokémon then it’s worth a visit. They sell pretty much same same but different merch to the Osaka stores. You’ll probably only find a handful of items only available here in the Kyoto store so if you’re not in the area, you’re not missing out on too much. There’s no tax free shopping here offered to foreign visitors so I preferred the Pokémon DX store in Daimaru, Osaka. Came here on a weekday in December and there were no queues at the counter and also was not crowded for shopping.

Decent merchandise and photo opportunities. But it was very crowded and the pokemon center wasn't that big either. However there was some exclusive merchandise and the staff were really helpful and friendly. For that their service really made our day and shopping experience better

This was my second time to a Pokemon Center (in the same day!) after the newer store in Shibuya. I enjoyed it, possibly a little more than Shibuya. It was exactly what I expected it would be, filled with cool merch and surrounded by plushes. I also preferred their store exclusives over the Shibuya store. Make sure to stop by if you're a Pokemon lover!

This store is located on the second floor from the bookstore. It's in a good location where they can have a line if they have a lot of visitors. It feels smaller than the DX location in Tokyo but it was also less crowded. You can buy cards here for the new TCG expansion. They have a higher limit (10 vs only 5 in Tokyo). It's a few blocks from Mitsui Garden Hotel if you plan to stay near that area. Walk a few more blocks and you'll be in the Nishiki Market area or if you go straight on Sijo, you can see all the different stores they have from international brands to domestic. It has a little statue of Pikachu and a bigger statue of Lugoa if you're a fan.

A little Pokemon Center hidden in Kyoto, cozy and small, sadly very little "kyoto" exclusive items for sale that I was hoping for. Overall I'd recommend this to friends.

It was so fun to visit here! Nostalgic Pokémon center music and lots of plushies and merch, I bet that you will find your favourite pokemon here! We did some gacha and played some games here, and got an exclusive Pikachu to the switch game 😁

Even though it is a small shop, you can find a wide variety of products. I thoroughly recommend visiting the shop if you are a Pokémon fan! You will find exclusive content and the staff is really cheerful

Good variety of Pokémon collectibles with some arcade machines. There is however, no Kyoto exclusive or sold out. Possibly the only one in Kyoto so it’s a good place to get some souvenirs. However, it feels like any other Pokémon center across the globe.

Beautiful shop in a great location, full of Pokémon goods. It's not too crowded on weekdays and would definitely like to visit again. Also got a souvenir coin from there. The entrance is slightly hard to find as there are no boards or signs on the outside, but the location is beautiful and the shop fits in well.

So disappointed. Came all way to Kyoto and found out that they don’t have the exclusive Pikachu plushes available. :((

Everything is soooo cute! They have some exclusive items also, like the Pikachu Geisha, and also some statues there for Ho-oh, Lugia and this cute Pikachu.
