A cafe with a nostalgic atmosphere where you can enjoy your coffee with classical music in the background. The lady’s music taste is just perfect. The coffee was also great!!

Such a nice place to listen to classical and have a nice slow drip coffee. The lady is very nice and has very good musical taste and a great sound system too.

Another gem found by accident whilst exploring the city of Nara. Cute place that brews excellent coffee and tea to be enjoyed while listening to classical music. The proprietor has hundreds of vinyls adorning some of the walls.

I think I found a café that belongs in a Wong Kar-Wai film. Located on the second floor of a nondescript small building, everything inside is a throwback to an earlier time, from the classical music LPs, to the European-style cups, and even the furniture. I’m drinking my café au lait while listening to Mendelssohn’s Symphony No 3 in a minor Op 56. The coffee is not good, but I keep expecting someone in a suit to come inside and order an drink while contemplating an unrequited love or impossible affair. (July 2019) Update: this keeps getting better. According to another reviewer, the female owner is a violinist.

Perfect for a pleasant conversation over good coffee. In the background, good classical music, which comes from vinyl records played through a system that honors the sound.

A great stop over after visiting Nara Park, resting our toes. Such a pleasant and quaint place in an upstairs view. Wish I can stop by this place every year.

Beautiful cozy cafe where you can sip your coffee whilst listening to their vinyl records (classical music only). Sonus faber floor standing, McIntosh amp, and two turntables (stereo & mono).

Incredible little gem in Nara. We randomly stumbled into this place and won't forget it. Great coffee too.
