started 25 years ago. At that time a few customers but now you have to stay in line to get in or out. I remember getting coupon for free to get in and bring more friends and so on. Life had changed but most of things are still in the same location inside. They have the Gas station now. Basically the took over torias mall. Good luck And happy shopping. Today I saw those beautiful twins. They are very cute. New Costco young members. #モーセン先生

The costco is good place i think. Japanese like this place . So most of the days are crowded. And the space not too big comparing to America costco. But some staff are not friendly. Anyway, i was satisfied with price and service. When u wanna go there, u need to make a plan. It takes 3-4 hours for going and shopping. Thanks.

Costco is an amazing company, famous for treating their employees with care, customers with outstanding service, and community with care. I was one of the very first original members here at this Hisayama location when Costco opened this as their flagship store in Japan. Shopping here was a Blissful weekend experience at that brought me back again and again. Despite it being an hour long drive to get to, this used to be my absolute favorite place to go grocery shopping at least twice a month with at least 5 pizzas to go every time to share with my neighbors. Unfortunately, it’s just too crowded nowadays. There is often a long line to get in, a line for any sample, another line at the register, a line at the food court and yet even another line at the exit! It's difficult to walk through the store without getting into a traffic jam of shopping carts at every corner you turn. I’m looking forward to the new location opening up in Ogori city (sooner is better!!) with hope that it will be less crowded and more convenient to visit on a regular basis (maybe daily!). My Executive membership would also greatly appreciate it if you guys brought back Nacho cheese, Rice Krispies, Kirkland Wipes, and switched back to Coca Cola instead of Pepsi at the food court fountain!

Enjoy shopping here There is bus no 27b take approximately 40 mins then take 5 mins walk, the bus leave Tinjin post office, operate one or twice per hours, costed around ¥600 one way. You will find many local unique Japanese products, for example Japan Wagyu beef They accept overseas members

It's not as good as it used to be. For a start the prices seem loftier, and now the majority of the products they have in stock are more local and are the same ones you can buy at Cosmos Drugstore or anywhere. Feels a lot less 'American' than a few years back, that's for sure. There's still some goodies up for grabs; namely the cookies and the affordable outdoor patio stuff and hard to get drinks such as diet Dr.Pepper- oh and of course the food court is always cheaper than sin and serves great food, but all in all I don't see a trip to Costco worth the trip as much anymore, nor the membership fee now with the bump in pricing, imo. So much of what they have now can be purchased online also.

I’m glad there’s a costco in Fukuoka. Nice place, but the goods don’t really vary like costco in Kitakyushu. Avoid to go here during the weekend because it’s very crowded

I recommend going on a week day as early as possible. The weekends are very crowded. We went on January 2nd (it was closed on the 1st) at the 10:00 am opening stated on their hours sign, but obviously they opened early (never advertised, believe me!) because there were people already checked out and leaving with carts of purchases. They have the best pizza that always reminds me of USA pizza with Prices are cheaper than Japanese pizzas and much bigger, too. They recently updated the store so the layout is like the one we go to in America. Check out is fast, courteous and very well organized when traffic is heavy. Always have employees that get the carts and patrons situated into lines.

I came here to purchase specific items that are not available in other stores or are much cheaper than other stores so for me it is 4stars. I would not come here to just buy regular household items though. But if you haven't been here it might be a fun family excursion with the cheap food court and the all you can drink service.

Just like Costco in the States. Felt like I was walking back into America 😂 they don't have all the same items as in America, but you are able to find random shipments of similar items such as yellow mustard and craft Mac n Cheese. Also, a great place for cheap large towels!

Very crowded! Customer service did not have a clear line Gasoline only accepts Costco giftcard or Mastercard but not Visa Citi Costco card?!

We are Costco member for more than an era. We do enjoy their wide range of product line of good items at cheapest price. But the yearly membership fee is really too high to afford for most of the crowd.

Canfind practically anything. And, they don't play stupid J-Pop music over the loudspeakers.
