Not bad, not great. It’s missing marks here and there as an Intercontinental hotel. Though it’s clean, the whole building needs a serious revamp. The hallway looks like a hospital. Room door has a gap and you can hear all the noise from the hallway. Overpriced restaurant food is fine but everything tastes like Japanese ready made food, like convenience store food. Staff is polite but not so friendly. There’s no bar for drinks and the cafe closes at 9pm… On the positive side, hotel grounds are beautifully kept and beaches are spectacular. Would not really recommend this hotel until it’s fully refurbished.

It was a bit disappointed than I expected. They can’t say it is under Intercontinental group. The facility is all run down, super old and not well maintained, charged 300 USD per night is unacceptable for this quality. Especially the bathroom and toilet was really smelly and floor carpet has stain everywhere. I won’t go this hotel again. The sea view and their hospitality was nice.

The location and the private beach itself is great even though not many restaurants nearby. I also have to positively mention the foreign workers, they are doing a great job helping guests out. However it feels like 90% of the Japanese workers can’t understand even simple English which is very surprising for an intercontinental hotel … it makes communicating a real pain. Especially since we came with a baby and they wouldn’t let us park nearby but asked us to park at the entrance and take the shuttle. Obviously they don’t have a baby seat and it’s annoying to get the baby stroller in and out. After insisting they let us park at the hotel parking but even then further away and they keep the “good” parking right upfront the hotel for their own cars. Really disappointed by the service and management of the Japanese staff not very child friendly. Also I’m disappointed by the maintenance of the rooms. The tables looked quite horrendous for n IHG hotel see for yourself in the pictures. Also the toilet had a terrible smell, it should really be serviced. What I also dislike is the mini fridge in the room which is not only not cold but fully stuffed with mini bar stuff to leave you no room for your own things. The only things we liked is the nice foreign staff, good breakfast and nice beach. I would not come again and not recommend it to others. Next time I will stay at a nicer hotel for less cost. edit Today I came back to my room and they even forgot to do the bed sheets… lost of words, they managed to only change the towels and trash and not touch the bed. Just have a look at it yourself in the pics how the service left the bed.

The only redeeming aspects were the breakfast, the reliable WiFi, and the comfortable bed, okay view from the top rooms. Disliked · Firstly, the hotel itself is very old, with aging facilities and outdated amenities. The rooms reflected this age, lacking modern comforts and falling short of the expectations set by the price charged for accommodation. Renting a bike from the resort is extremely expensive and we opted walking instead. During winter, both pools were closed. While the onsen provided a nice alternative, the limited availability of recreational facilities during this time was disappointing. Also, both resort's restaurants are very expensive, there are far better dining options just outside the resort. Not worth the price, would not come back.

This hotel is beautiful and a perfect stay for families. Yes, the rooms are old, especially the flooring need some renovations, but you basically just sleep there anyways. The breakfast is delicious and they make nice dishes to order on top of the buffet. Pool is fun but the best part about the hotel is the Ocean park. We spent hours there, having fun. You can either go there by hotel shuttle or walk, it’s about 5 min walk. The only con is that the toilets by the beach stink, they need some cleaning, and the badminton courts are dirty and kind of abandoned. If they charge per hour, they need to take better care of the courts. We will definitely come back here, the staff was very nice and helpful and made us feel like at home.

Positive points: - The beauty and care products are of very good quality. - The lifts are fast. - The rooms are clean, nice and very well equipped with a Nespresso coffee machine 6 capsules included and refilled every day, tea and water. - The view from the room is beautiful. - The staff is very pleasant. - The Washoku breakfast was excellent. - The buffets are rich in choice. - The rooms are well isolated. Negative points and things to improve: - Tattoos are forbidden in the onsens as in many establishments in Japan, it's a pity, maybe it would be nice to propose for example hours when tattooed people can access the baths, knowing that there are more and more people with tattoos including Japanese people. - 1200 yen for a draught beer, I find it very expensive. - There are a lot of families in the hotel, I would find it ideal to add a space where families can sit without having to pay in the ocean cafe. - The car park is quite far, 15 minutes on foot. - The beach is private and guarded, which is good for children. What would be even better is to have a free beach accessible after 5pm.

Amazing hotel, amazing hospitality. The rooms, views, beach, pool, food is all crazy awesome. Found ample vegetarian options. The water is truly aquamarine blue. The shuttle bus from the airport drops you at the porch-super convenient. Heading back to the airport needs a taxi and may cost 12000 yen. Quite far from the main city, Naha. So unless you have rented a car, it’s a stay in the hotel and do nothing holiday which we loved.

The resort is amazing and beautiful. We had the best massages I’ve ever had. We painted ceramics which was a lot of fun. My only complaint is the dinner buffet. While the breakfast buffet had some vegetarian options the dinner had none. It was very discouraging as it was our last night. They had a separate menu but plenty of the options could have just been added to the buffet such as the pasta and PLAIN pizza otherwise it’s very affordable.

The service staff member Lin Yang Syuan was exceptionally friendly and accommodating throughout our stay. He provided us with a thorough introduction to the various services and facilities at the hotel, and even went out of his way to assist us with a room change when we requested. Furthermore, when we made a lunch reservation the next day, he remembered our room number without us mentioning it, delivering service beyond our expectations. We're highly impressed with his service and would like to express our appreciation through this review.

It’s a bit further out - from Naha but it’s a fantastic area to visit. The private beach is great - clear water, gentle waves, shade, and soft white sand. This is one of my favorite place to stay on the Okinawa island. You will want your own car if you are staying here. If you are here with kids, they offer fun DIY craft activities at night time. It’s super fun to do.

Ana intercontinental was and currently is (I still have another 2 days here) an experience like no other. Even with overcast I'm having the most relaxing beautiful time imaginable. The service of the Japanese is already world class but okinawa takes it up another notch. But what surprised me the most was how reasonable the pricing was. 1700 yen (15 cad around 11 usd) gets you 4 club sandwiches a bunch of potato wedges and a bunch of tortilla chips i had to split it with my wife the value is real. 75 bucks gets you dinner and a fantastic show and all you can drink for around 2 hours. Great value. Amazing service.

We visited this hotel on a typhoon day, the front door staffs are very helpful, bringing umbrella out and help with my kids. A Taiwanese girl staff is very nice at reception too, introducing us all the facilities and help to arrange booking. We had a lovely day there and would love to visit again. Thank you.

Great beach. Great pool. Lovely staff. Being able to go to the inflatable water park, the sea or the pool was amazing. The staff in the exec lounge are wonderful. Housekeeping was a bit sloppy. Not always left with enough towels or water or rooms cleaned very late in the day.

My friend and I checked into the ANA Intercontinental Manza Beach on 11/20/23. This is a birthday trip for my friend. Being an IHG platinum elite member, I always stay at Intercontinental hotels anywhere I travel and am accustomed to the high level of service behind the IHG brand. I have to say the breathtaking view is the biggest advantage of staying at the ANA Intercontinental Manza Beach. The rest is not so much. The front desk staff needs to be better trained, as check-in took too long and the presentation/customer experience was not professionally up to par with the other Intercontinental hotels. We had our luggage delivered to our room because we wanted to dine at the café first, and when we went to our room, our door was open with our luggage in plain sight, which I felt is a security issue. The flooring in the room is badly stained and therefore appear dirty, which is due to the age of the hotel. There are no robes to be offered unless you stay in a suite (the hotel staff informed me), which I think is a basic amenity for a 4 star hotel. When I called from the room to request for ice, hotel staff asked me to fetch my own from the only ice machines on the first floor, and we're staying on the 7th floor. Most of the onsite restaurants are closed on Tuesdays. Hotel offers an area shuttle, but it only goes to the parking lot and their own private beach, not even to the bus stop. Everything else is far walk. The only cafe onsite is open from 10am only, so I had to wait unitl 10am to get a latte. These are my observations in just half a day. We’re staying until tomorrow. I’ll update this review if things get better. We can’t wait to get to our next hotel in Okinawa. Received Management's response below during my stay - Honestly, they need to provide better training and coaching to their staff. It's not my responsibility to do so or provide input. They don't seem to be taking a proactive approach to customer's valuable feedback, which is even more so disappointing and their staff's level of service is a direct reflection of their Management's approach.

READ BEFORE STAYING. Hotel is very dated and has a musky stench throughout it. The smell in the room is very bad. The beds were fine but the flooring is old and almost sticky when stepping on it. The staff are kind but this place is in need of a major renovation. Breakfast buffet was mediocre at best but expensive and hard to get into. 3 star hotel at best because the views are incredible.

EXPENSIVE parking fee. Pools are shallow but great for children. Beach is beautiful but not netted. Obstacle course is great for children and adults. Food is excellent but limited.

I booked ANA InterContinental Manza Beach Resort for my honeymoon on May 2023. Overall, my husband and I were super impressed by the customer service and hospitality we received during our stay! Unfortunately, it was hurricane season when we visited, so we weren't able to participate in all the activities in the resort as some of the water activities were cancelled. However, the private beach was great and the views from the resort were breathtaking. We were extremely grateful for the generous room upgrade for our special occasion! The only downside was that we found the food a bit expensive especially with the limited options available. But I would still recommend this resort as we had such a memorable experience.

A little bit small room and also small bathroom. Lobby floor was opened to the pool, which was unique but also lacks air conditioning. Beach was 10 min on foot, quite long for a walk on a hot day. But service of staffs were great.

A nice weekend diversion full of activities and relaxing moments. I wish we had reserved a bigger room. The staff were practicing English. Some of them seemed new and were struggling at simple things. For example there was a bit of a wait at check in. For some reason only two people were working on Friday afternoon. The hotel seemed well maintained but dated. Maybe decorated in the 1990s. The prices were high for items, but the food was good.

Although we didn't stay at their fantastic hotel, we enjoyed their beautiful beach, the floating Ocean Park and their Beach Cafe - all of which I give 10/10. Our experience was one to remember, and although exhausting, only in the best ways. We stayed all day, renting their umbrella and chair set, and thoroughly enjoyed both the floating course and the swimming areas. The walk to the hotel was delightful, and the hotel itself seemed very inviting. Our lunch at the Cafe was absolutely incredible, and we will certainly return at our next opportunity to take advantage of all the many recreations this beautiful resort has to offer.

left my braces in dental solution after i left the hotel in the morning, came back at night realizing that the solution was thrown away and replaced with water without my consent or knowledge, even found meat in the cup which was absolutely unhygenic and irresponsible of them

At first, we were given a 3rd floor (first floor with rooms) right above the covered hotel entrance, where the sea view is completely obstructed and we saw the entire mouldy rooftop. We asked for a room upgrade and they sent us to another one on the 9th floor with a much better view. So be prepared if the view from your room may not be a direct sea view . We enjoyed the comfortable beds, both the buffet western style breakfast and Japanese style breakfast, the amazing beach and seaviewy and the onsen area. The staff were also super friendly and helpful when we asked for transportation guide.

A 4-Star hotel benefiting on internal miscommunication errors within the hotel at the customer’s expense is beyond me. Especially from a hotel that is meant to cater to an international audience (“INTERCONTINENTAL”). Taking advantage of customers that are not Japanese fluent is extremely unacceptable... Terrible experience, horrible customer service, zero principle.

Lives up to the IHG group reputation. Begining from the drive in, the reception already had our name and information handy and grabbed our gear, car keys, and smooth handed us off to the front deak staff. The front office did not have a room because we came way ahead of check in time, but accomodated by getting us a table for afternoon tea and making us feel so welcome. When the room was ready, the staff took the time to explain the hotel ammenities and offered all our children a welcome bag with lots of goodies to make them feel special. The pool was large and had space for my oldest to swim around and little ones to waddle in the kiddie pool. From the pool, a 10 min walk will put you on Manza beach with access to many aquatic activities to enjoy. Will be coming to this hotel regularly when we need a staycation on island. Thank you!!

Great beach facilities and comfortable clean rooms. Had a fantastic time with friends and family and would return. Very easy to get back to Naha airport with bus.

OK, so we're cheapos, did not stay in the hotel, just nearby and visited the beach (you can get there even by bus 120). Nevertheless, everybody was very kind and nice. The prices are a bit steep (3500 JPY for the inflatable obstacle course, 4500 for a beach bench/parasol???) and there was a long "maintenance period", after which so many kids went up there that we gave up (it looked like an anthill). But the beach is nice, small but well-maintained. You must try the "Manza dog" hot-dog (750 JPY), it is so delicious.

Spent our stay here as a couple. I’m amazed with the view since it’s very close to the beach. The room is clean and spacious compared to the normal hotel size in Japan. We have free breakfast to all our mornings and Food was great with a lot of variety to choose from. Pool is big and if you decided to go to the beach you may do so since it’s just a 2min walk from the hotel. I’m very satisfied for our 3days stay.

Facility good, big swimming pool, dedicated beach, excellent spot for diving and snorkelling, various activities enjoyable. (some unavailable during pandemic as of June 2022, recommend to check at leisure desk)

Most beautiful Okinawa beach in Onna area ,and best spot for sunsets. But building feels old and somehow staff seems stressed -there is no happy relaxed vibe-which can be due to management or also May be because costumers are not so happy with high cost and experience.
