A hidden gem among all Disney parks, one of their best done and least appreciated dark rides. You ride in a bit similar to Small World or Pirates through the story in Sinbad and his tiger sidekick. It actually tried to tell a story and the music is great, plus lines are usually very short. Worth the stop.

Sindbad’s Storybook Voyage is a dark ride at Tokyo DisneySea located in the Arabian Coast port-of-call. The attraction is a long boat ride, best described to Disney fans who haven’t experienced it as a cross between Pirates of the Caribbean and ‘it’s a small world.’ This post is mostly a “ride-through” of the attraction via photos, but I also thought I’d throw in the question of whether it is the best modern Disney dark ride, or should be considered in the same breath as the elites, at the end of the piece.

Incredible dark boat ride. Animatronics are unbelievable. Theme song will stick with you. A true “do-not-miss” attraction at a Tokyo DisneySea.

Hidden gem! Went past and saw no queue (rare in Disneysea) and was curious. It's a lovely little boat ride similar to "It's a small world" with a catchy tune sung in Japanese. The detail of the dolls/puppets were amazing and went back multiple times on it. I don't know why the queues aren't as long as the other attractions - it's a great little ride!

I have been to Disney sea many times and I didn’t even know about this ride till last year. The legend Alan Menken composed “compass of your heart” exclusively for this ride. the ride is relaxing , something like It’s a small world . it’s suitable for toddlers too. Usually short waiting line as well.

While there are certainly bigger and more thrilling attractions at Tokyo DisneySea, this one may be the best overall. Sail in a boat through a cast of over 100 unbelievably lifelike animatronics and experience one of the most charming sidekicks (Chandu the tiger), and one of the most endearing soundtracks (courtesy of Alan Menken) Disney has ever produced. This is Disney at its very best and is a do-not-miss attraction located in the best Disney Theme Park on earth, Tokyo DisneySea.

Why is this ride so under rated?! it was so nice ^~^ we wanted to go twice , the ride takes you through the whole story on a calm boat ride. quite long one with many amazing dolls and installations!

Beautiful and unique attraction mixed between Its a Small World and Pirates of the Caribbean. Ideal for children. Catchy music by the great Alan Menken with a fun story and low lines. Highly recommended .

The more I ride this the more I appreciate its awesomeness. There's never a queue, the "Compass of your Heart" song is amazing - a Disney classic, Chandu the tiger cub is kawaii personified, great animatronics and there's even some banana scent pumped in to the ride at one point I think? Small World with a much better song and characters - and a storyline!

Modernized take on the classic Disney boat ride. Perhaps the best one across all the parks as the story is much better put together and the newer animatronics bring a freshness to this ride type. The music is also much less annoying than it’s a small world.

5 min wait for the ride. The song is forever stuck in my head!
