I
originally
chose
to
eat
here
because
I
was
not
interested
in
the
rest
of
the
places
in
this
building
-
I
had
no
idea
what
to
expect.
When
first
entering,
I
was
just
a
little
confused
because
it
was
a
tiny
reception
room
lined
with
book
cases
and
no
host
at
the
desk.
A
second
later,
there
was
a
knocking
sound
and
one
of
the
bookcases
pushed
forward.
I
was
ushered
in
to
the
large,
eclectic
and
industrial
dining
room
and
shown
to
a
hanging
swing
of
a
seat
facing
a
fantastic
view
of
the
town
square
below.
The
menu
is
designed
like
a
magazine,
and
quite
extensive
-
you
can
ask
for
the
English
menu,
but
there
was
no
way
all
the
items
in
the
magazine
were
represented.
The
lightly
seared
fish
I
ordered
was
quite
tasty
and
served
with
a
medium
spicy
chili
sauce
which
didn't
overpower
the
delicate
flavor
of
the
fish.
The
steak
was
slightly
less
cooked
than
I
normally
prefer,
but
had
a
nice
smoky
flavor
that
paired
well
with
the
pesto
sauce
that
came
with
it.
Desert
was
called
"Special
Cheesecake"
on
the
English
menu
and
consisted
of
cut
squares
of
Cheesecake
smothered
in
whipped
cream,
topped
with
berries,
caramel
sauce
-
all
over
a
thin,
fried,
sweet
won
ton.
It
was
really
tasty
even
though
it
was
not
what
I
was
expecting
when
I
ordered.
Service
was
attentive
and
quick
-
there
was
a
buzzer
on
the
table
so
a
server
could
be
summoned
whenever
you
desired.
Servers
didn't
seem
to
speak
much
English,
but
my
Japanese
keeps
getting
better
and
communication
was
not
an
issue.
The
prices
were
right
in
line
with
what
I've
come
to
expect
in
Japan.
