2️⃣0️⃣1️⃣9️⃣0️⃣8️⃣0️⃣2️⃣ Great experience on a cool calm sea cruise. Frankly, I enjoy the tranquility and the sea breezes more than looking for imaginary objects on cliff sides which incidentally I couldn't make out any. Not very imaginative I guess. Appreciate if you leave a LIKE if you find my comment useful. Thank you for your support.

You can buy tickets at your hotel counter. I took the 3h45m ride to the cape of shiretoko at 10am. I would suggest to pack your lunch and enjoy the amazing view of the peninsula!

Expected: crowded boat, beautiful waters, 2 dolphins no bears. Unexpected: unnecessary and unwanted music in loudspeakers: you may want to go with the smaller boats.

Very nice cruise ! The boarding starts 15 mins before the departure, and you have to go to the ticket office to pay for the tickets as website only allows for reservation !

Nice way to see some of the coastline around Shiretoko. The scenery was great. Shame that there was no information in English on board. Unfortunately, there wasn't much in the way of wildlife visible on my trip (I took the 1hr 30m outing at 2:30pm in September).

The worst experience of the trip. Nothing to see. We just spent 1.5h on the cruise and finally reach the falls. The captain said he saw a bear on the beach but no other passengers witness it. I used my binoculars but still couldn’t find the bear.

We went on the small boat operator who I believe was Utoro Cruise: Kamuiwakka cruises. We paid the 円8000 on the advice that this would get us closer to the shore and the boat travelled quicker which allowed more time at each site. I have nothing to compare it to but the tour was excellent. We saw bears and a whole bunch of amazing scenery. My only criticism is that there is no English service of any form on the boat. The operator does all commentary in Japanese so for three hours, we had no idea about anything. We just had to go along for the ride. Some written document or something would be appreciated I think for non-Japanese clients.

Beautiful 1.5h cruise! The view from the water was a great way to get a feel of the vast and rugged wilderness that is Shiretoko. We were lucky to have seen a bear (looks small from such a distance, bring binoculars if you want a better view). Animal sightings or not, the trip is worth it for the spectacular landscape! Note that information given on the loudspeaker is only in Japanese. Visit the World Heritage Museum first to read up on the area.

You can surely take sharp pictures of the Shiretoko cliffs as the ship cruises leisurely along side the cliffs. No hurry, except for frenzy photo taking of the cliffs and sea birds. The officer uniforms can be rented too if you are interested. There is a very small snack shop in the ship that sells delicious wagyu bun. Most of the passengers opt to hang around the open top deck to take photos. The cabin is spacious and have large clean windows. Overall an enjoyable cruise.

We booked a trip to the tip of the Shiretoko Peninsula during the GW. On the day of the departure waves were too high and the trip was changed to thei Kamuiwakka Falls instead. We decided to go on this trip as we really wanted to see the Peninsula. Unfortunately during the whole cruise we had the feeling that the boat was rushing. We were going fast and quite far away from the shore so watching wildlife on the shore (even with binoculars) was hardly possible. When we arrived at the Kamuiwakka Falls the boat turned around and took off not giving much time to enjoy the view. The customer service at the counter and the crew were nice and friendly. The views of the mountains and the shore were amazing.
