まず私には十分な高級旅館でした。
従業員1人1人にちゃんと教育されている感じがします。
料理も美味しかった。旧暦の雛祭りシーズンだったので、八寸はお雛様の器が使われていました。こういう季節感があるのも良いですね。
ステーキは焼き加減は特に聞かれずよく焼けてたけど柔らかく脂も諄くなく、美味しかったです。塩と山葵と醤油ベースのステーキソースがあったけど、このステーキソースが旨すぎでした。
あとお米美味しすぎ~。
朝食も豪華で美味しく何より米が美味しくて朝から幸せでした。米買って帰ろうかなと思ってしまうぐらいでした。米はあるので食前酒の梅酒は商店街で買いました。
私は旅館はもう20年ぶりぐらいだったので、旅館あるあるをすっかり忘れて行ってしまいました。自分の反省と備忘録を兼ねて次に備えて書いておきます。
·車は玄関前で従業員さんに渡す。待っててくれてるみたいなのでチェックイン時間は守ろう!あとすぐ降りれるように車内の整理もしておこう。窓は拭いてくれてたかは雨だったからわからん。
·お部屋でお抹茶を頂きながら宿帳を書くタイプ。コロナ禍だからかも?その間に大浴場·外湯用の浴衣を用意してくれる。多分体型見てから準備なのでピッタリのものが用意されていた。
·心付けはこのタイミングだろうけど、用意するの忘れた!渡すならここか夕飯後か布団敷いてくれた時かな?
·夕飯のお品書きの流れで基本的に一品ずつ来る。お椀とか蓋の開けるタイミングが解らん。説明を聞きながら開けるのか部屋係りの人がいなくなってからなのか…写真撮るから冷めるんで去ってからにした。ご飯は最後に来る。肉の時に欲しいな…とこういう場の時に毎回思ってしまうご飯党。
·大浴場は女湯は微妙に看板に気付かず私以外も素通りしがち。廊下右折してからすぐ左にあるよ。ビールサーバーとアイスの反対側。腰掛けて呑めるように椅子有り。
·大浴場はそんなに広くないですけど良いお湯でした。
·大和屋本館には手ぶらで、別に浴衣に着替えなくて行ってもフロントに何も言わずに地下の大浴場に行けます。何か渡したりするのかな?とか思ったけど、総スルーで入れる謎システム。こちらには日本酒と駄菓子屋台がありました。屋台は21時までなので要注意。
·山の上ホテル側から入ると駅からまだ緩やかな坂ですが、商店街·飛鳥の湯側からだと心臓破りの坂か階段が待ち受けています。
·部屋の風呂は想像していたものより無骨な…味のある風呂でした。
·手水鉢の水は寝る前に水を止めてくれます。
·お布団敷いてくれる時に寝間着用の浴衣と冷たいお水を置いていってくれます。冷蔵庫のペットボトル水は外湯用ですかね。
·朝食は時間通りに始まるので最低限部屋と自分を整えておこう。朝食後だらだらしてると片付けに入ってくるので、洗面所への扉は閉めとこう。開いてるとちょっと恥ずかしい。
·お部屋係の人も他の従業員さんも名札はしていない。最初の挨拶の時で覚えよう。
·出掛ける時は鍵を帳場の人に渡すと靴を出してくれる。
·帰ってきたときは別に●●部屋に宿泊の○ですとか言わなくても素早くスリッパと鍵は出てくる。
·帰りの会計は下のロビーで。その間に車を玄関につけておいてくれる。
·躑躅の間だったのですが右に松山城が綺麗に見えました。飛鳥の湯の鳳凰も見えますが電線が…。左に道後温泉が見えますが今は工事中。
