Stayed in Superior king double room with balcony. Brilliant stylish room, large, bright, great design, very comfortable bed, large balcony with great view, fridge with selection of free drinks.and big bathroom with bath and in-bath shower. Super friendly and efficient reception. Nice vibe in hotel and being small, easy to meat and chat to other guests. Cafe attached to reception area. Quite a few subway stations within between 8 and 15mins away. Negatives? A few small ones. Area not that upmarket especially in immediate vicinity, but lots of places to eat. No problem if you are used to less upmarket area of a city. Room could do with blackout blinds, hotel just starting to show its age, and coffee in cafe just average Worth noting that sim rooms may be considerably smaller than the Superior king room we stayed in, so as always worth checking what you are actually booking. Also the exterior of the hotel nothing special, like lots of smaller places in Japan However, I don’t think you will find a more spacious stylish room for the price anywhere in Tokyo, or any other major city, especially if the location is convenient for you.

One of the best hotel in Tokyo in this Japan trip. At first I am a bit skeptical because been staying in Asakusa before and it’s not too pleasant. But I give it a go. And not regret it. Not only the design of the hotel are wonderful. Also it located on a busy but quiet at nite covered shopping alley. The room are comfortable. The bed is one of the fluffiest in Japan I think. The room even has a big windows and opening to a terrace which because of winter too cold to be outside. The area neighbouring the hotel has many eateries, some are even opened 24h. Very recommended. Will I be back. For sure.

Some of the most polite staff I've seen with decent English, making me feel really comfortable here. The hotel itself is very convenient and the rooms look very modern and are about the size you'd expect from Tokyo hotels. There is a free breakfast every morning which closes late at 11, and they offer more than one choice which is always wonderful. In my room, there was a strange smell from the bathroom even when I first entered and it wouldn't be cleared out, so I can't help but imagine it wafted over from another room. Overall I'm very happy with the stay here

Contemplating about writing this review...wanted to keep this hush hush for our next trip :) We took a cab from Ueno station and it's about ¥1800. Make sure you have the hotel address in Japanese. It's not easy to find (initially). We arrived before checkin time and hotel staff was very helpful with letting us leave the bag. We came back a little before check in and they had already moved our bags into our room. The hotel is on the small side but our room (Standard Twin) was spacious, clean and relaxing. The beds were so comfortable. All amenities well thought out. Got new slippers and water and drip coffee pack everyday. The best part...the staff.. all of them extremely professional, welcoming and helpful. So happy we found this hotel online. Truly a gem.

We stayed here a few years back when the hotel was known as Wired Hotel -- things have changed since then, and not for the better. Service remains good and location is excellent. Bicycles are also available for use as part of the stay. However, the breakfast is now on the fourth floor, which has insufficient seating and space, and is manned by one understaffed person, who has to take orders, prepare, cook and clean up. We also stayed on the fourth floor, which is dormitory-style with a shared bathroom -- it's generally clean and each room is assigned an individual shower. Toiletries are generally of good quality. Our room on the other hand was something else -- out of four beds, only one was on a bed frame and the other three "beds" were actually individual piles of mattresses. The couch was of poor quality and was practically unuseable. There were also no individual down-lights or table lights, only one ceiling lighting for the whole room -- this is poor design if there is one person in your group who wants to rest. And there was no cleaning service for the duration of our stay. For the amount we paid for the room, better options are available and we will likely stay elsewhere when we visit Asakusa again.

not a bad stay. even though its a little bit of a walk from the station its close to the temple and the izakaya street. hotel was nice too but my only problem would be the bed. was abit too soft for my liking and the blinds were a little thin so if you are a light sleeper its not recommended. its a good safe option as a hotel plus its really affordable.

Way too good than expected! Everything was so just simply nice. The designed room was very quiet and cleaned. The staff of the hotel services was awesome and warm, food is tasty but more over also they're delivering the fresh coffee and foods from hotel cafe located at 1st floor. the amenity of the bath was organic and eco-friendly made too. I wish I could stay longer! I should come back again.

Stylish and comfortable accommodation with helpful and friendly staff at a good price. While a bit of a walk to the metro (although still very manageable, and easy when travelling to/from Narita) it was super close to Senso-ji temple and lots of great food. Simple, tasty breakfasts and a nice bar downstairs. Also free bikes to borrow - great for exploring the nearby Sumidagawa riverbank paths.

Amazing high quality and value hotel in the heart of Asakusa. My mom and I stayed at this hotel for 5 nights during the first leg of our 15-day vacation in Japan. The location is absolutely perfect in the heart of Asakusa, with so many amazing small local dining locations nearby. The room itself was a perfect double room that was extremely comfortable. Pajamas provided were soft and nice. For the rest of the trip my mom lamented about how she was staying at this hotel instead!

A gem of a hotel! It is in a lovely location - close to Senso-ji temple - and many bars and restaurants. The beds were super comfortable - we had a shared bathroom, but assigned your own shower and there are several toilets so it was never crowded. The breakfast was very yummy as well - 3 options including a traditional Japanese breakfast. The staff were all very welcoming and helpful. Free bikes to use as well!

Nice hotel on the border of sensoji temple District. Connection to airport trains is a bit far (especially with luggage). Rooms are very spacious for japanese standards. Rental bikes available. Lots of shops and restaurants within walking distance. Super friendly staff.

Love this hotel! I have stayed in 2 different fantastic rooms with balconies and views of Asakusa. Very cool and stylish decor. By far the best hotel in Tokyo. The area is great too with lots of shops, bars and restaurants.

Great hotel. Booked for our last night in Tokyo after having spent several nights at some beautiful ryokans. The room was greatly designed. Great bathroom and very nice terrace. Overall a great hotel !

This is a solid 3-star hotel. The location is a 10-15 minute walk to multiple subways. The staff is always friendly, and everyone that we interacted with were fluent in English. They offer free bike rentals, which were very helpful. The room was on the smaller side, but still worked for two people. The decoration was very stylish and space was clean. My only complaint would be that the bed was not as comfortable as I would hope at a hotel. Other than that, my friend and I were very happy with our stay and would recommend to other travelers wishing to stay in Asakusa.

Stayed in one of the suite rooms which has a massive bath. Two king size beds and very on point design throughout the whole hotel. A lovely balcony area with seating and a view of Tokyo Skytree. Highly recommended.

Great value hotel with lovely terrace rooms with views of Asakusa. A bit of a walk from metro but a stone throw away from Senso-ji which is delightful to see at night. Comfy rooms and welcoming service. Only let down was the very limited options for breakfast.

Really nice hotel. The room was unique, clean and the bed super comfortable. Breakfast was absolutely delicious. Highly recommend!! The surrounding area is really downtown Tokyo. So much fun to walk around!

Absolutely amazing stay here and can't recommend it enough. We love Asakusa and this is a brilliant location if you want to stay in Japan. We've stayed in the mini, standard and superior rooms and they were all incredibly clean, comfortable and modern with lots of amenities. The mini rooms don't allow a lot of floor space but that's obviously what you pay for. The cafe downstairs serves breakfast, lunch and dinner also catering to customers outside of the hotel. Options are limited but delicious. We never had trouble getting a table. English was spoken by all staff, who were all extremely helpful. There was a music DJ event one night in the cafe which was great to experience but it was not loud and finished early.

This is THE place to stay in Tokyo. You cannot beat it for the money. This was our first honeymoon stop and it was perfect. The rooms had all the amenities you could want. The staff was so friendly and helpful, the complimentary breakfast was amazing, the atmosphere was very comfortable, the design is clean and modern and fun, the surrounding area is great, good food and shopping and historical sites close by. They even have quality bikes to rent at the hotel. I can't say enough, go stay at Wired. It was our favorite place we stayed, way better than the Tokyo station hotel, which was twice the price. We will stay at Wired next time we come to Japan, we absolutely loved it.

Ambient is super comfortable, food is good. Everything’s perfect! I recommend you to come! Better for chats and to rest but not homework or DIY as the lighting is quite dim.

Standard Room (#703) @wiredhotel in Tokyo. Hipster-ish hotel, in a great location with a good breakfast. The staff was friendly, the room was clean & they even provided yukata. ✅ 3-minute walk to Don Quixote Pros: ✅ Attached to a theater, can catch a show ✅ Clean, comfy, large room ❌ 10-minute walk to Asakusa station ❌ Theater crowd took over the lounge area ❌ More Western vibe I would definitely stay here again, getting a room with at least a queen or two twins. Our double bed was snug for the two of us.
