Osaka Aqua Liner Cruise is one of the popular attractions in Osaka city. It is a highly recommended excursion to further explore the beautiful city of Osaka during both daytime and nighttime. The cruise boat is specially designed with a glass roof that provides passengers with unobstructed views of Osaka city. The experience with the cruise was very relaxing and it offers the opportunity to discover the popular landmarks and beautiful city of Osaka including Osaka Castle. During the ride, each passenger is given an audio guide that will provide interesting information about the city’s history and landmarks. The audio guide is available in different languages.

The aqua liner is free if you bought the Osaka Amazing Pass. Located right outside Osaka Castle, you can visit after existing from the castle. The cruise is next to a outdoor dining area. You can get a lunch here while waiting for the cruise. The cruise leave hourly. There is a 20min, 30min, 40min and 55 min cruise. Taking the 20 or 30min ride is sufficient. Most of the time you are seeing residential and commercial buildings. The cruise has a glass roof, so might be hot in afternoon and summer.

Chill ride and enjoy the scenery. Drinks can be bought during the trip! Nice route to enjoy the Sakura bloom! You can take the train to Osaka Business Park station. The pier is just across the bridge.

Free on the Osaka Amazing Pass only in the winter months. Otherwise, adults pay Y1800 and children pay Y900. If you board on this pier, the scenic view is on the left side. Boat is clean and friendly staff. Snacks may be purchased and consumed on board. The "sights" are too far to see and not really interesting. Highlight is the ability of the aqualiner to lower its ceiling in order pass lower bridges. In my opinion, a collosal waste of time (one hour round-trip) and money.

With relaxing music and comfortable atmosphere, it’s great to watch the beautiful view of Ōsaka. People with Ōsaka amazing pass are recommended to take the Aualiner

The experience was interesting, but I feel that the tour was quite boring and not exactly informative. It’s pricey for what it gives, so I would not exactly recommend this!

If you are an Osaka Amazing Pass holder, and visiting Osaka Castle, then I would suggest to experience this aqua bus liner. If not, 1600 yen is pretty steep fare for nothing much to see along the cruise.

The first departure time is 1015, last is 1615. Every 45 mins interval. If you have Osaka Amazing Pass, I suggest to come here first instead of Osakajo as the latter is 15mins interval

Cruise was more than 30 minutes. It was very fun. Took lots of pictures of the scenery. Would come again

Bad experience on Aqualiner, the staffs not informative, not very nice, and so rude. Not recomended. We want to ride aqualiner cause it included in the osaka amazing pass but the staff just tell us the ferry may not operated cause bad weather but not tell us about change the pass to tickets. Then refuse to change the tickets when the fery arrive cause they said the ferry already gone and ask us to wait for more 45 minutes. We go to aqualiner on May 7th 23. Really bad experience.

Nothing negative to say against the staff or the boat ☺️ but it is just a dull ride 🫤 with nothing exciting to see (apart perhaps the upper half of the Osaka Castle a tad far). We have had the chance to enjoy several city cruises around the world and this one is clearly in the bottom of the list… Sorry! ☹️ It is also hard to find basic info on the website and for a reason I can’t explain we could not buy tickets online for the same day while there were still lots of unsold tickets. 👎

We could not go to the upper level of the boat to see the beautiful view of the river, castle, rose garden and buildings. Sitting all the time in the boat, felt it was a pretty dull river cruise.

Great Views from the boat! ¥1200 per person and half price for kids, we took the mini liner 2 instead of the big boat because it was open-air. Expect lots of winds though.

Beautiful boat. Went in the afternoon. Way too sunny. We had the amazing pass so it was included otherwise it wouldn't be worth the price. 300 yen takoyaki at the front of aqualiner worth the price.

A great way to sit back and enjoy the sights on the Osaka Amazing Pass! Heated with drinks for purchase and a somewhat understandable translated historical explanation!

It is a great experience to view Osaka on boat. To my surprise there are many low bridges around the city. The guide on boat is very friendly and helpful, he will help the passengers to take photo. He sells snack and drinks as well.

Super friendly staff. Clean cabin. Worth the Amazing pass! Tips: Take 1 way trip, so you can travel to other areas, instead of going back to same place.
