Rather than a museum, it's more of a nostalgic candy store for the Showa generation. There are some toys on display, but mostly candy and toys for sale. The price was also reasonable, and it was 194 yen for the four items in the photo (fruit gum, etc.).

I visited in 2018 and 2023. On the first floor, there were many large-sized sweets and goods from the Showa era that are rare these days, and I had a lot of fun shopping there. In 2018, we were also able to enter the toy room on the second floor, which was a lot of fun. In the exhibition room, which was about 30 to 40 tatami mats in size, there were many old Showa era toys and things that were sold at candy stores. I also took a photo, but since I did not have permission to post it, I will refrain from posting it. I visited again in 2023, but unfortunately I couldn't enter the second floor as it was under renovation, which was a shame! I'm sorry, but I've reduced it by one ★. Please try again. 😆 Thank you very much.

There is a candy store attached. I think most of the visitors are coming for the candy store. There is a wide variety of items, including nostalgic character lottery cards from the Showa and Heisei eras, menko, beigoma, and pictures of idols. Older items are priced relatively high, but I think enthusiasts will be happy with them. There is a parking lot in the back for about 4 cars, but the entrance is very difficult to find and I think it's just barely there. Maybe the entrance fee is 200 yen? ? (Maybe) I can go to the museum in the back, but I've never been inside. Admission to the candy store is free.

I stopped by with my kids on the way back from sightseeing. The store was filled with retro toys, candy, rare cards, and more, so parents and children could have fun together. However, the store staff was unfriendly.

Toys are one of the things that are synonymous with Japan. All ages have memories of childhood with toys. So, in this shop, anyone can reminisce about their childhood toys freely. This shop provides various toys across eras. From the 90s to the present era. You can reminisce about childhood memories. Toys made from paper, tin cans, cars, masked planes, using batteries are here. Don't worry about the price, everything is cheap. From only 100 yen to 2000 yen there are. If you want exclusive collections, there are also used toys for sale. The price varies according to its unique value. There are also many snacks and snacks sold here. I think bringing 1000 yen can bring a lot of delicious snacks.

A cute toy shop downstairs, but pay ¥200 and you can go upstairs to view the real museum. Full of old Japanese toys, kites, and figurines. Well worth the visit

Although not big, it's very interesting. We were filled with memories of childhood when we left.

(Translated by Google) I want this kind of store to continue forever. I think that the rarity is very high because there are some discontinued products. It was a nice place.

(Translated by Google) I visited in January 2020. Although it is called a museum, it is a store that sells so-called retro toys and sweets. I think the generation who played in downtown from the 30's to the 1940's will feel nostalgic.

About 3 years ago, I happened to find a toy store with a nice atmosphere and went in (^O^) It was a two-story building, and there were a lot of candy on the first floor. There were a lot of sweets, from familiar ones to ones you've never seen before♡I think you'll enjoy just looking at them (*^^*) The second floor is a toy museum with toys and bromides that have a retro Showa feel. It was fun to see so many menko♪ I think you can enjoy it even if you go with friends, family, or lover ♡ Probably one of the Instagrammable spots♪

(Translated by Google) There were also discontinued and premium priced toys. You are lucky if you find what you are looking for. The museum upstairs was closed. I don't know if it will reopen.
