It’s hidden in a quiet neighborhood, very fun to visit even if you just walk around the outside area.

I visit every time I'm in Meguro. I love this quiet little place and its siting, right in a residential neighborhood on residential lots. It's so idiosyncratic - a wonderful vision associated with the temple next door. The collection is majority figurative and there is something to enjoy for conservative tastes as well as progressive tastes. It is a hidden gem.

I was in the area to see the parasite museum, and was happy to stop by here. Quite a bit of outdoor sculpture, in a number of areas (you may need to wander a bit to find it all). The inside was also fairly nice, but was a little warm for my taste. At free, you can't really complain.

Really interesting free art museum. Come on a clear day to take advantage of the gorgeous sculpture park
