(Translated by Google) Do you think it's a museum that doesn't exist at Kinman University? The exact opposite. The collection of Jomon pottery is incredible. If you like Jomon pottery, this is a must-visit archaeological museum. Our university was established in the Meiji era to disseminate research on national studies. Kokugaku is a discipline that clarifies the origin of the country, and archeology is also emphasized. As part of this, a collection of prehistoric relics in Japan is being accumulated. As a university museum, the scale, quality, and environment of the exhibition room have never been seen before. It takes 30 minutes if you look at it quickly, and 2 hours if you look at the details slowly. The exhibits include old stone relics, neolithic relics (including Jomon pottery), Kofun period relics (haniwa is about half the size of the Tokyo National Museum!), And a little bit about the Japanese religious views that followed. There is an exhibition. In addition, the exhibition for the festivals of the imperial family is explained, and you can learn the origins of Japanese nations and religions in order.

(Translated by Google) Visited Kokugakuin University for the first time when I saw an article saying that there was an exhibition of the “Okuma Festival”. I have heard that the city of Shibuya has changed, although I rarely come here because I am a retired resident in elementary school Yokohama, and I used Shinjuku Shonan Liner's new south exit ticket gate for the first time. Aiming to go to university with Googlemap to go in the shortest (stumble), when I entered the alley, I found a letter of Kokugakuin University at a higher level when I walked with a student and walked in the mood. As expected, Kokugakuin University and the museum with the Shinto Bunka Faculty were excellent, and the timely project (free admission) and the exhibits were valuable, so we had a very meaningful time. Thank you very much.

I went to the Kokugakuin University museum in Shibuya on a Sunday after 2pm. Admission is free♪ This Kokugakuin University Museum has permanent exhibitions with themes of archeology, Shintoism, and school history, and special exhibitions with various themes. This time, the special exhibit was Hienko Kozufu, an antique from the Negishi family, an antiquarian in Kita Musashi (Saitama). It is amazing that not only the clay figures, clay figurines, and mirrors have been preserved, but also the illustrations depicting them. The inside of the hotel was quite spacious, new and very clean. The Kokugakuin University Museum is a free museum in Shibuya that we highly recommend!

Good museum to drop off. Firstly, no fees required here, even though they have precious collection. Not only ordinary exhibition there are but also there are extraordinary exhibition. Now it is regarding Shinto and wooden craft work at the end of Edo era and early Meiji era. Furthermore, some of them are capable of taking photograph. This is special in Japan.

(Translated by Google) A museum that is free of charge at a university alone can only be described as being excellent. Although the building is small, it's more than enough to look into. I look forward to my own projects.

(Translated by Google) Kokugakuin University Museum is located in front of the main gate of Kokugakuin University in Shibuya. The general public can also enter for free. There is a space where you can take a break as soon as you enter, and you can also use the university's school meals. There are three school meals in the university, and the Japanese noodles were delicious. Until December 15, 2019, we are holding a special exhibition for the Daijosai. You can find out how the Daegu Festival has been run, the panoramic view of the Daegu Shrine currently open at the Imperial Palace, and the name and meaning of each building. If you are interested in the emperor's throne and Shinto, why not go there. In addition, permanent exhibitions show things related to archeology, Shinto, and school history at Kokugakuin University. Hall time: From 10:00 am to 6:00 pm (entry until 5:30 pm) Opening day: All year (including weekends and holidays) Closed days: irregular (Original)

The special exhibition "Kaien Koshino Illustrated Music - Antiques of the Negishi Family, a Famous House of Northern Musashi" is being held and you can view it. ーーーーーーーーーーーーーーーーーーーーーーーーーーーーーーーーーーーーーーーー Figure Haniwa (armed boy) Excavated at Kaminakajo, Kumagaya City, Saitama Prefecture Kofun period (6th century) The armed men's haniwa, a nationally designated important cultural property, wears a necklace and has a handsome face with the bridge of its nose passing through and the edges of its eyes bulging. The flame-shaped earthenware on permanent display gives a glimpse of the artist's sensitivity to the shape of flames. There is a marked difference from the other flame-shaped pottery on display. Excavated from Iwanohara Ruins, Nagaoka City, Niigata Prefecture (Middle Jomon Period)

Within walking distance from Shibuya Station, the toilet is clean and not cold, there are few closed days, and the value is not too low.
