Slightly steep stairway of success leads to the beautiful shrine. Cute little water fall is made near the Tori gate which is one of the picturesque spots. I went in the evening time around 7.30 pm, there were no lights near the steep steps, after climbing it, the lights were on.

I enjoy going to Shrines and Temples and this one is a little different due to the steep stairway entrance. There are just 86 stone steps but each one is higher than average and the ascent is steep. The shrine itself is very nice and includes a mini-shrine on the grounds that some went to pray for a little extra benevolent support. The fish pond is very pleasant but the koi fish were ‘on vacation’ presumably due to the cold.

Steep stairs to climb up - but you will be successful if you do! Nice gardens and shoring at the top. Worth a visit

The highest mountain in the 23 wards. Work luck, love luck, etc. ? It has always been a power spot for me. When I'm worried about work or relationships, I climb these stone steps. In my case, I feel like I'm somehow being reset and moving in a better direction. ★Recommended Exorcism bell. I use it when I go out. Also, instead of going down the stone stairs you took the trouble to climb, I also recommend getting off from Onna-zaka. Shoes with heels are not recommended.

The 86 steps will have you breathing hard by the time you reach the top. It’s a great sight to see in the middle of a residential area and photo-worthy. They lead right to the shrine.

Quite a number of steps to reach the shrine. First reaction was this shrine exists just in center of Tokyo! Worth the visit.

This is probably Tokyo's most famous "Stairway to Heaven" (stairs to shrines and temples perched on hill tops). 石段 (男坂) Stone Stairs (Men's Slope) has 86 (steep!) steps and represent the achievement of success in life. I confess to being winded by the time I reached the top (and I thought I was taking it slowly). The bottom of the Stone (Men's Slope) Stairs are guarded by a pair of 獅子 fantastical lions.

This is quite famous in Japan as ”very steep stone stairs". The pinnacle is the highest point within 23 wards in Tokyo.

This is my favorite neighborhood. Weekends here are extremely nice and quiet. Lots of nice restaurants, not too crowded, office workers are not too busy running around. I like the chilled atmosphere here.

It's quite a steep slope. Please be careful as there are fallen leaves ⚠️ Use in training is prohibited as it is disrespectful 🈲

First thing first. You have got to have strong legs to climb to the shrine if you visit this place (there's a cheat way, though). But this is the point that you ascend these steep stairs to where the shrine is assures you to have a successful career. Ever since a master of horse (Magaki Heikuro) climbed up these stairs on his horse and took a twig of plum tree for the Shogun, Ieyasu, in the early 17th century, these stairs have been called "successful steps". A nice pond with many koi and a small cafe to have a cup of tea (you deserve it after you ascended the steps yourself).

Great little spot surrounded by the city! There's a small local place for food after you climb the historic 'stairs of success'. It's a nice place to take a break for shade as well as a moment of zen after paying respects to the shrine.

There are 5 parking spaces for worshipers. They also hold regular organic marches, where they sell a variety of pesticide-free fresh vegetables and rice. There is also a stylish teahouse!

A family of three with their son, who is starting his studies abroad, stopped by for a walk near Roppongi before making meal reservations. I climbed the stairs, praying for health and happiness for my family and loved ones, and also filled with gratitude. There is a shrine-like facility at the top of the stairs, but the facility was being renovated, so I only looked around the carp pond and the cafe. The stairs were steep, so I was cautious when going down, but there is a detour to the back of the pond.

The impressive place, walk through many steps to make a merit on the top. It is not crowded, peace, and easy to come. You can wash your hands, make a merit, pray, and ask Japanese god. The amulets is really good.

For me it was not successful because of the entire temple being under reconstruction. But hey the view from the top is pretty cool.

Nice Shrine in Toranomon area. Normally business people go there to pray. At the entrance from the main gate, you will see a lot of steps to reach the top and a sign that names them "Step of Success". So, basically, business people often go there and walk up to the top following all those steps even if with fatigue with the purpose of praying for their success and wish prosperity for their career. Very nice view and shrine!!! There is a small lake and garden too with fishes. Highly recommended to visit if you're around.

I was brought here by a friend. There's a shrine in a place like this! As I approached, I saw stone steps that stretched out like a wall. No, I thought it was impossible, but since I had come all the way, I started climbing. After I started climbing, I got tired of it and was afraid to turn back halfway through, so I couldn't turn around, and since the rocky steps made it difficult to find footing, I had no choice but to solo and move sideways until I was caught by the handrail, and I had no choice but to keep going up. I looked down from the top of the mountain and felt a little hesitant. too high. Once we got to the top, we could hear the pure sound of the water from the Kobansui Falls, and Hinata had a white cat (apparently called Shizu-chan) who was sleeping with her cologne without worrying about people coming over. The cats at the shrine are loved. It was a wonderful shrine. After praying, I went down the stone stairs, which were a little more gentle this time. These stairs are easy. But in order to get promoted, do you have to easily climb up as many stairs as possible?

Steep steps, amazing view on top! One of the steepest set of stairs you'll ever see. It's a lot of fun to climb. You'd better be in good shape, though .An easy spot to visit without large crowds, this a pleasant, small shrine complex that can be reached from more than one side of its hilltop perch. Peaceful and complete, there are several spots where a visitor can pause, reflect, or meditate.
