Highly recommend! We took the night time Tokyo Bay course and wow, what an experience! At times, the route felt like a Mario Kart track, especially with Tokyo's unique signs, road details, and atmospheric lights. Seeing the Tokyo Tower all lit up as we approached was truly amazing. Our course guide and instructor, Nao, was both professional and warm. He gave us a fantastic tour of the Tokyo Bay Area and even took a bunch of great shots we'll always cherish. The whole operation felt very professional, and safety was clearly a priority. Not to mention, during the actual tour, there was a guide at the back to help with safety and ensure the group stayed together. One piece of feedback for Street Kart: perhaps consider either making the current brake lights more noticeable when braking or adding additional brake-only lights. This change could enhance the experience, providing guests with immediate feedback if the kart in front is slowing down and then allowing guests to take in more of the surroundings. If you're in Tokyo and looking for a unique thrill, Tokyo Street Kart is the real deal.

Amazing one of a kind experience. The 3hrs drive around Tokyo city is a mix of breathtaking view and thrilling moment. Dressing up in character for the drive and driving on the motor road in a street kart itself does attract the attention from pedestrians on the busy streets and fellow motorist of the road. Note: do bring a wet wipe along, you will need it to wipe the road dust of the exposed part of your face, if able, wearing a mask will be help with the fumes.

Our experience was nothing short of amazing! Guides were highly engaging, costumes were fun, and the go-cart experience itself was surreal! I’ve never felt like I was in a video game more than this experience. Definitely a must-do for anyone coming to Tokyo!

Amazing experience riding the kart with Mai as our guide. She’s really friendly and full of energy, making the tour really fun and enjoyable. Though I rode alone and joined another group, she made sure that I was fine at each juncture. Thank you so much Mai for the wonderful experience! If you enjoy thrills and excitement, take some time and join the Tokyo tour. You won’t regret it.

We made this reservation fairly last minute (~1 week before our trip) and they were really nice to accommodate to our preferred timing. We took a ride along Shibuya area and the iconic Shibuya crossing. It was really enjoyable and fun :-) Definitely a must try for anyone visiting Tokyo!

Awesome experience, could not fault it and would definitely recommend it if you're visiting Tokyo. Went on the 2pm session and despite it being cloudy and cold, was still very fun. Louie was our guide and was on point in directing us through the traffic safely while still letting us open up the throttle on the wider/open roads. I've heard night time is the best time to do it so next time I'm in Tokyo I'll be coming right back. 10/10 - strongly recommend

Amazing experience and a must in Tokyo! Slightly terrifying, since you're driving on the road with all the cars and trucks (which hate the go karts and will cut off your group on purpose), but so much fun! The shop itself is a little run down, though. And don't listen to the instructions on the website for directions. The address does take you to the right place. The pin they dropped on the map is wrong. I appreciate that the guide takes pictures of your group during the ride, although they're all taken from the same angle, so they pretty much look same but with different cars in the back.

Great experience "racing" thru the streets of Tokyo in your selected costume. Its really a purely go kart experience going thru the various location around Tokyo - in this course mainly the rainbow bridge and Tokyo towers. The fumes when you are behind can be irritating though. Also, difficult to hear the guide as its noisy. Overall still a great experience. Be warned... The meeting venue can be quite a walk.

What a cool experience! This location is a little ways from main downtown area of Tokyo but easy to get to via the Shin-kiba Station and a short walk, or take a taxi as we did to be on time. Everything went as planned and smooth! Everyone was very friendly and accommodating. You can dress up as a famous video game character and the suits are clean and washed. Benny our main instructor, was great and let us know everything we needed to do. He was extremely safe and a great tour guide as well. This is a must with this particular company if you come to Tokyo, the other company’s aren’t run as well as this location I believe. All the carts are nice, operating correctly and very quick! I recommend doing the full 2 hour night tour as you will drive over the Rainbow Bridge, see the glorious Tokyo Tower up close, racing against the Shin-kiba commuter train under the bridge, race against big semis and other vehicles and possibly see the fireworks from Tokyo Disneyland. Spectators on the corners of the street will wave and take pictures so be sure to be in a good mood! Make sure to get and have your international permit/license, Passport and be extremely sober before you come to drive the streets of Tokyo, as the police would be very unforgiving if something were to happen. *As a side note there is a cool bar to grab some drinks and food after your experience driving and heading back into the main city area. It is called the Shinkiba Beer Bar and is upstairs at the front of the Shin-Kiba Station as seen in the pictures. The food and the beers were delicious and affordable. There is also several drink vending machines nearby the cart experience.

Definitely a must during your trip to Japan. I recommend going for the 3 hour tour, you get to see EVERYTHING! Shout out to RYAN for being a great guide. It was so much fun to be cruising in the go karts through the city. People were waving at our group so that made it feel really special. We had a group of 9 but Ryan said if you have a smaller group you can go faster. I didn’t mind though because I got the kart up to 45/50mph which was fast enough for me, and I love to go fast. I would recommend ending your trip with this that way you have a good memory of exploring the city before you leave. Hope you enjoy this as much as I did. 🚗💨

Where in Tokyo can you obtain a chillaxing drive in the open Winter weather 🥴

  • 5/5 Paul R. 4 years ago on Google
Great way to see Tokyo. Got to see all.the sights from a unique perspective. Tour guide was fantastic and very funny. Would highly recommend to anyone wanting some fun and get to see the sights. The drop down off rainbow bridge getting up 90kph was fun and a little scary 😅😅

Absolutely an amazing (and surreal) experience, we were put in a small group of 6 with 2 guides (1 in front 1 at the back). Dylan and Taku looked after us the entire journey and it was really exciting. Make sure you wear sunglasses or the provided goggles esp if you wear contact lenses and a mask is probably not a bad idea! The journey (~2h+) was safe throughout the entire trip around the Rainbow Bridge and Tokyo Tower. Highly recommended!!!

It was very fun experience but only one thing I’m concerned, the speed. At one stage I was driving 85km per hour and I still couldn’t catch up with people in front of me and the tour guide didn’t seem care about the speed limit at all. We were driving on high way which I can see speed limit was only 50km per hour but we were driving 85km with it helmet? I was a bit scared by the end of the trip I just wanna finish it ASAP.

DO IT! It was so much fun. Try not to be a nervous driver, people are pretty patient on the road. We went at night because I wanted to see the city lights but a day time drive would be just as good. We booked for a Tuesday night but the weather was rubbish so they were able to reschedule us to the next night. We still had some rain but it was fine. The only thing was that grit and dirt got in my eyes pretty bad so if you are doing a day drive than wear sunnies but at night it kind of stung sometimes. It is easy to book through facebook messenger and they get back to you pretty quick. You will need an international divers licence. If the weather is rubbish maybe contact them an hr or two before your assigned time just to check. Overall this is a 5/5 for service and fun. The price is also reasonable.

Today the 6th Jan 2020 we went and did the k-L course 3hrs. Our driver was Satar who was absolutely amazing. Happy to answer any questions you have. I was a first time driver of a kart and he definitely made me feel at ease. The course was fantastic and the bridges were freezing. This is a definite must do when visiting Toyko. Ask for Satar he is the best. Xx Aussie x

I’d recommend doing this when in japan as you probably won’t have the opportunity to zip around this massive city in red go karts dressed as your favourite characters. The 3hr long route was worth it as you got to see a larger area of the city. Bring your GoPro with a head mount to capture your ride too! (Note: you need an international drivers license before you can do this activity, although it’s not hard to drive a go kart really)

Although quite a confident driver in Australia I was nervous when my partner said we were going Go Karting in Tokyo city - these nerves certainly didn’t last long and I’d do this again in a heartbeat. The go karts themselves were very straight forward to operate and well explained beforehand. The whole experience was extremely fun and a very fond memory I have of my time in Tokyo. I enjoyed starting off in the Tokyo Bay area as I feel it allowed me to gain some confidence before venturing into busier areas. Incredible views as you hoon along and overall an exhilarating experience. Would definitely recommend a tour that goes over Rainbow Bridge!

  • 5/5 James M. 1 year ago on Google
The red go karting shop is located in Tokyo Bay near Shin Kina station. It was enjoyable to drive past Tokyo tower and over the bridge. Our guide was Lucas who pointed out the sights along the way. They take photos for you along the route at red lights and air drop them at the end of the ride .

Amazing experience, we drove by Tokyo Tower & Tokyo Bay over Rainbow bridge. It was nothing short of unforgettable. Our guide Ron was very helpful & everyone spoke great English. There are lockers to store your bags before you set off. Highly recommended, we did the 2 hour Tokyo Bay BBQ route & it was incredible!

  • 5/5 Alessandra 1 year ago on Google
Our guide Daniel was so fun and kind! They speak really good English and it was way more fun than expected!! We just message them via messenger and everything went smoothly! We also chose the Shibuya lane, so many people are waving and cheering!!! If you ever go to tokyo it’s a must do!!!

  • 4/5 Christine T. 11 months ago on Google
Definitely worth the price! We did not expect the tour to be so long 😆 in fact it was maybe 20 minutes too long. If it was 80% of the price and 80% of the length then it would have been even better. I also wish making reservations online was much easier. I loved that they had many good costume options - our 300+ man was also able to find a costume. Also had a tour guide that spoke good enough English and took many great photos of us. I was a little nervous about it at first but he made me feel safe throughout the tour. Thanks again for your accommodation and a great experience!!!

This is by far my favorite attraction here in Tokyo. We picked our costumes but it was so hot in September lol the ride was amazing. Our guide was awesome. You can only take pictures at red light. Make sure to get your international driving permit and passport with you along with drivers license. Highly recommend this place. You literally are driving in the streets and highways so please pay attention to your guide for your safety

This is a MUST while you are in Tokyo! We got there about an hour early due to leaving another excursion but they have a nice size sitting area to wait and a massage chair! Route: The route itself was amazing we did the 730pm slot and I am glad we did. It was beautiful to see the Rainbow bridge and Tokyo Tower all lit up. You seitch up positions during the ride so that others can be in the front which was cool so if you are in the back you won't be for the whole ride. Service: we had Mai as our tour guide and she was amazing! Pretty sure she drove as an extra in fast and furious lol. We even got a picture they printed out to take home! Karts: super easy to understand. A little small if you are 6ft or taller but it wasn't too bad of a fit. Follow the instructions and you are good!

Had an amazing time on the street kart tour. I did the K-M tour from the Tokyo Bay shop. I arrived alone, but joined another tour group. Was fun riding through the streets of Tokyo and seeing all the sites. Our tour guide Blake was friendly and made sure we were safe. Would highly reccomend to anyone in Tokyo looking for a fun n unique experience.

Our group did the 1.5hr-2hr evening tour around Tokyo Tower and on the Rainbow Bridge. Doing this go kart tour was one of the top 5 things I’ve done in my life! It was surreal to be driving go karts on the streets of Tokyo. It was very well organized and I felt safe with our tour guide the whole time. Anyone who goes to Japan, I will recommend that they do the evening tour with Street Kart Tokyo Bay!!!

One of the most unique experiences I have had! This is, hands down, the best way to see the city of Tokyo, definitely a MUST if you visit. Felix was an awesome guide, and my sister and I had an absolute blast! Just make sure you get your international driver’s license before hand if you plan on visiting.

Although not our first rodeo, but this was definitely much more pleasant than our first time. Our first time was at Shibuya on a much shorter and slower course. This time we decided to turn it up and go onto the rainbow bridge. Johnny our guide was great at making sure we were following and safe. He knows the route and pointed out areas and their significance.

One of the greatest experiences ever! I'm so glad I did it, because it made the trip that much better. It was about a 45 minute train ride from Shinjuku, but not hard to navigate. Once we arrived at the final stop, it was about a 15 minute walk. Please make sure you bring your passport and international driving license. Also, we opted to pay for the insurance for the peace of mind. There were several different options available. I'm glad we did the middle package (about 2.5 hours). The one hour package would have been too short and the ~3 hour package would have been too long. The costumes were included, but there was an extra fee to rent a Go Pro and a fee for the memory card. If you don't want to splurge on the Go Pro, at least bring your own memory card. It was worth every penny!

  • 5/5 DK N. 4 years ago on Google
Travis was a great guide, its was the best experience ever. Great from start to finish, go on the 3 hour tour to get a surprise lookout, esp at night. Please disregard all the negative reviews. Service was amazing!

  • 5/5 Deniz K. 4 years ago on Google
Such a great experience. It is a must do for anyone that is not concerned about being in traffic with day to day commuters. The guide was great and ensured that everyone is safe and sound following the rules. Make sure you experience the rainbow bridge at top speed. If you wear a cap, wear it backwards as it will fly off when you are reaching good speeds. Awesome is an understatement for this experience. Only in Tokyo

This was my best city tour ever, really nothing can describe how much amazing was this tour.. I took the long tour which is 3 Hours, crossed the excitement places in Tokyo.. I just wonder if this could be available in other countries.. It really represent the Mario Kart game.. you get a feeling that you are in the game itself, all the details are present, even the sound of car bump (if you played the game; you will understand what I mean).. I recommend going for this tour.

  • 5/5 Kate W. 4 years ago on Google
Loads of fun, our host was funny and snapped loads of photos for us as we drove around Tokyo. We picked the longer 3 hour route at 2pm with a short break mid way. Although the traffic was a bit stop-and-go I felt safe and enjoyed waving at the locals who often giggled and waved back (our group were all wearing costumes). It was warm and sunny but towards the end my hands were cold; I'd recommend wearing warm clothes under your costume and maybe driving gloves. Fuel up before you arrive as the location is in quite an industrial area with a small Family Mart only and no place to grab a drink or lunch. Don't arrive early as you won't be able to go out early and there is nothing to do or see while you wait! Otherwise a great afternoon sightseeing in an unusual way!

The best experience we had in Tokyo, hands down. Nothing quite like flying around the streets of Tokyo amongst cars and trucks, feeling the wind whizzing past you. Johny, our guide, was informative, funny and made us feel comfortable (and was very patient with others who didn't think the rules applied to them so much)

Had a blast, went with my sister and another friend. We got split up but that's understandable since we were an odd number. This was an awesome way to experience Tokyo. You get your own gas powered cart complete with headlight, and blinkers. If you are an American going to Japan you will need an international driving license. You can get them from AAA. They speak English very well, the whole thing costed about 11,500 yen I think. If you go try to go as an even number of people.

A really fun and awesome time, the night ride was amazing. If you like lights and city skylines, the night tour is the way to go. In late February it is cold, but so worth itn just bring gloves, hat, and coat. Ryan was our tour guide, very friendly person and give good instructions. I would highly recommend this tour, I know I'll be back.

Had a great time on the long course with Travis and Francesco. The instructors took alot of the driving stress out of it by doing alot if the thinking for you (merging ETC) Definitely wear your jacket under the onesie you get if going in winter. Also recommend the glasses or bringing your own sunnies as small rocks can flick up if you're hooking it.
