Absolutely amazing stadium, on the waters edge and catching a sunset game is bliss. I took the family here when on holidays in Japan to catch the Chiba City Lotte Marines play. This place has a really great buzz, easy to get about, I don’t speak any Japanese but getting in was a breeze, really good merchandise store and plenty of food trucks and food inside. Some tips, - Definitely take a hat and sunnies if your catching an afternoon game. - For tourists, you should follow the locals and be prepared wear masks as precautionary courtesy. - The stadium is about a 15 minute (easy) walk from Kaihimmakuhari Station however there are a constant stream of shuttle coaches that take you from the station exit direct to the stadium entrance, cost is approx 100 yen ($1) per adult, 50 yen per child. The bus takes about 3 minutes, might be ideal if you have small kids however my 7yo daughter was fine with the walk. - There is a massive factory outlet / shopping complex outside the station with ALL the big brands, so if your keen to avoid the rush on the trains, get there a couple of hours before the match, do some shopping and there are plenty of restaurants / food courts also for lunch / dinner.

It's a beautiful beach next to the stadium. You can enjoy the view of Tokyo Bay on the beach before watching baseball. There is a table on the 7-Eleven deck of the outfield seats, so you can enjoy watching the game while drinking beer.

A nice stadium to see a game but unfortunately they didn't take advantage of the beautiful location right on Tokyo Harbor so you can't see sunsets or even sense where you are. Lots of good food available inside and out in food trucks before the game. Not enough parking and poorly designed so there is only one exit and entrance. Lots of people walk over from the train and bus stations though. Fun crowd though. Usually a nice cool breeze in the evenings.

Great arena to watch Xgames 2022 in Chiba. Loved it. Nice and clean, open roof. Great venue and will go again.

Awesome baseball stadium! Got lucky to have been invited to a game. Watched from one of the Balcony Suites food was quite good awesome atmosphere. I still don’t get baseball though I understand the rules now. But maybe another game or two and might start liking baseball? I guess.

The stadium is well past its prime and is showing its age. The nightmare upon exiting after a baseball match was horrendous with gates locked and exits barred in an effort to control congestion. Metal railings and other fixtures are rusting either due to poor maintenance or proximity to the sea. Steps on the upper levels are painted the same colour as the rest of the surroundings and present a trip hazard. The beer dealers were frequent in the upper seats but the cola/hotdog dealers did one lap and were not seen again all game, they were seen in the lower seats however.

An older stadium, but it has many modern features. Food trucks outside the stadium & you can bring it into the game. Comfortable seats. It does take some effort to get there from Kahin Makuhari station; many options available.

Great open air baseball stadium. A variety of seating options for different budgets. Staff were friendly and we were able to take food inside. They also allowed us to bring in our own drinks, but they had to be transferred into plastic cups. They have girls selling beer out of kegs strapped to their backs so you’ll never go short of a drink.

Great place to experience a Japanese baseball game, which you should definitely do during your visit. Was able to get tickets on-site, even in October, though I needed to fill out a paper form written in Japanese to join the Chiba Lotte Marines club. I arrived in the third inning for a 6pm game because I had plans during the day in Tokyo. A little bit out of the city center but still easily accessible. The Keiyō Line train to get here is deep inside Tokyo Station and felt like a crowded commuter train.
