Lucky last place we got to try before leaving Japan and I’m so glad it was Ricehack! The pizza was delicious, as were the bread rolls and the cheese roll. The owner is so nice and caring too! My parents who don’t need to eat gluten free said the pizzas were delicious too, yay!

Super friendly staff and a very good gluten free pizza! Very happy I found this place. They were also kind enough to tell me the restaurant next door offers gluten free items as well!

The most delicious gluten free bread and pizza I have ever had in my life! I'm from Melbourne, Australia and I am spoiled for choice when it comes to GF bread and pizza, but the food I had at RiceHack is honestly the best I've ever had, ever! The owner speaks great English and explained all the options. We liked it so much we rearranged our trip to go back a second time! I highly recommend the Wafu pizza and the mushroom/bolognaise cups. Yummo! 👌

(Translated by Google) It is delicious that I do not think that I made it with rice flour! Fried bread is baked without frying. Delicate taste and softness. I have a good price. (Original) 米粉で作ったとは思えない美味さ! 揚げパンは揚げずに焼いています。 繊細な味と柔らかさです。 よいお値段がします。

Amazing gluten free pizza I ordered the wafu pizza which is a totally new flavour I never had before. Also had a cheese bun. Downside there is no table seating option so only as a takeaway.

The best gluten free bread I have ever had! Fluffy on the inside and crisp outside it’s just like a French baguette but gluten free! I may have shed a tear when I tried it.

Amazing find, one of the best gluten free snacks we ever had! Vegan options are there as well, and the staff spoke perfect English and were extremely friendly! A real must see!

💯 Gluten-free. No cross contamination 💜 this hidden bakery is run by a friendly, bilingual couple. Every item is made with rice flour —no nut flours—so you know it’s all safe. There are vegan and non-veggie options. The rice bread is moist and chewy—I’m glad I took some home to reheat. Reasonably priced, you’ll want to take some to go as well. It’s a walk up window (the door leads to the kitchen as I accidentally tried 😂) And it’s easy to see they sell out by the end of the day. I walked up at 2PM and still got a few good choices. I’ll go back earlier to try a few other options. The GF pizza looks delicious. No seating, but you can eat 1 item at the cafe next door when you order a drink or soup. The cafe next door is also run by a fascinating woman who speaks English fluently as well. Different restaurants but a good working relationship. The soups do have gluten but the drinks and AMAZAKE are GF. The best AMAZAKE I’ve ever had (usually I don’t like it) I’ll definitely go back. Wished I’d taken photos but the owners were so interesting that I forgot. Next time.

The restaurant has gluten free pizzas and gluten free beers to try. The pizza is good and even my boyfriend (who is not coeliac) enjoyed it. The bakery next to it has a great selection of items, but is quite pricey. Perhaps they sell out earlier on in the day, so be sure to get there a little earlier to appreciate their full selection. I had a cake for 1000 yen, which I'm sad to say was not worth the price and was quite dry.

All gluten-free! The owner understands what is coeliac and people with this condition are safe there. The food is excellent! Simple, yet flavourful and original. The owner is very nice and the place has a relaxed backstreet atmosphere. A real hidden gem just a few minutes away from the crowded Omotesando street! The menu seems restricted to soup and pizza at the moment, but will be expanded from April 2019 apparently. I will definitely go again!

As a gluten intolerant person this was definitely on my "to visit" list! It was very tasty. The tomato sauce alone is already very good. I took a pizza and was able to ask if they would make it without mozzarella as I am lactose intolerant too. They have no seating places but if you take a drink or something else at the Cafe next door called "The Beet" you can eat your pizza there. The overall vibe in Harajuku is also very fun to walk around.

Really great pizza and bread rolls! I was actually doubting it was gluten free it was so good! Normally you can go in the cafe if you buy a drink but it was closed so we just sat off to the side to eat. It was a really nice day so it worked out great. Good variety of pizza, you can get a regular margherita or more interesting choices like one with whitebait or nori if you're looking for a more typical Japan pizza. 10/10 would recommend.

This place was a god send for finding good gluten free bread in tokyo. The breads are fresh and baked daily. A little pricey as compared to what we pay in Australia but understandable as we couldnt find gluten free bread anywhere else in tokyo.

Amazing!! After struggling for a couple of days as gluten free traveler in Tokyo, I found this bakery and bought everything they had available. Their cheese&pork currybread was to die for - I am craving it every day now even though I live in another country. Their baguette was chewy and moist. Their pizza was also crispy and cheesy. My partner who is not gluten free also tasted everything and said that the currybread was the best he had. The employee was fluent in English and really nice, which made my experience great! Thanks for making my trip even more enjoyable! :)

Excellent gluten free food!! Curry bread and baguette were outstanding. Pizza was quite good as well. They really figured out how to make some great GF pizza crust. For someone with a gluten allergy this place is a godsend. You can sit at the cafe next door if you order something there. I recommend the amazake, which I tried there for the first time and really enjoyed.

Only kind things to say about this bakery! My wife has celiac and the food from this establishment was some of the best gluten free food we have ever had. I wish I had photos to post, but we inhaled the food. If you find yourself in near Shibuya, you’re about a 10-15minute walk away down a quaint and quiet street. After which you can continue on to Harajuku and explore another awesome neighbourhood! The owners are fantastic and offer classes on gluten free cooking. Worth your time to explore, if you do make sure you have yourself a curry bun.

(Translated by Google) I had the pleasure of visiting them yesterday, we tried the pizzas, they were very tasty, they are small so if you are hungry ask for 1 for each one. Everything is organic in the store and is gluten free. In total it was approximately 5000 yen that we spent on the 2 pizzas, a lemon juice and a small muffin for dessert. But it's worth it. Had a large hot latte at the cafe. Best coffee I've had in Japan by far. Manager studied coffee making in Australia for a while and it definitely shows. The gluten free baked good for coeliac in Japan were a welcome relief too.

It becomes thin dough because rice flour, to cheese but also cellulose non-use, so also sell do not use chemical seasonings and additives, recommended for people to be worried about. I was a valuable shop where I could eat out with confidence because I had severe allergies. Entirely gluten free restaurant, a treat for a coeliac travelling in Japan :) the owner is really friendly and also gave us some tips for other gluten free restaurants in town. Food was so delicious. The pizza base had a great texture and plenty of cheesy goodness. And definitely the best latte / coffee we had in our two weeks in Japan. Highly recommend!

  • 5/5 Nina 4 years ago on Google
Gluten free and great pizza. More expensive than traditional Japanese food of course, but for celiac people definitely worth it. So nice to finally have a restaurant that understands celiac disease and they even provided me some tips for japanese things to try which are originally gluten free. Like some kind of beer. There's also a bakery next to it, but when we were there at the end of the day it was all sold out, so can't really tell if that's good or not. The neighborhood is also very cute , I would definitely recommend going here.
