We had an amazing time paddle-boarding with the SUP宮島 team!! The setting was incredible, and our guide (Louis/Rui) was amazing. It was the first time for one of us, but our guide was able to get her up and paddling comfortably within just a few minutes. This is by far one of the best ways to see Miyajima and the Inland Sea, and was definitely one of the highlights of our visit to Miyajima! Highly recommend!!

If you want a unique experience that you'll be talking about for months after you leave Japan and more specifically Hiroshima then book an outing with SUP Miyajima. During my 2nd trip (16 days) to Japan last year (July/Aug '23) I booked a 2-3hr beach outing for my nephew and myself. I can't praise SUPM enough. Their friendliness and professionalism really shined. This experience was nothing short of life-changing. I say life-changing because the session started out as an energetic refreshing exercise for the body, but ended with a clear mind as we sat on our boards in this calm body of water surrounded by a setting sun and sounds of nature. It was as if the water not only washed the sweat away, but also the stresses in our lives. I left feeling renewed. As I plan my 3rd trip to Japan this coming May/June '24, I'm trying to work a day back in Hiroshima JUST to do this again. If you are a tourist, you will not regret booking an excursion like this! THANK YOU AGAIN!

Our experience with SUP was absolutely superb. We got a great price, excellent service and a stunning kayak tour of the island. Our guide was friendly and knowledgeable and went the extra mile to ensure our time in Miyajima and Hiroshima was the best it could be, giving his personal dos and donts, and tips on restaurants and bars for the rest of our trip.

Shin was an excellent instructor and accommodated me despite some communication issues on my side! Had an incredible experience paddling through the floating torii gate as the sun was going down.

We had a great 1 day tour with Shin. In the morning, we paddled with another couple who were first time SUPers through the torii twice, through the canal, and across the channel to an oyster farm. In the afternoon, Shin drove the two of us to the South side of the island and we paddled to a secluded beach for a snack and coffee. What a treat to have the whole beach to ourselves with an amazing view of the inland sea. Definitely highly recommend SUP Miyajima to peacefully enjoy the magic of Miyajima away from the crowds. Shin was a delightful guide.

We had a great experience paddle boarding Miyajima with Shin and Hiro. They were very professional and had everything setup and ready to go right on time for us. They let us keep our backpack and street shoes in their vehicle, so we didn't have to worry about finding a locker or place to store our stuff. The boards we got to use were nice hard boards, but they also had an inflatable as an option. They provided life jackets and the boards had leashes as well. We launched from a beach nearby, paddled under the jetties by the terminal, to nearby beach. Then onto the Great Torri Gate! They were very knowledgeable about the customs for who's turn it was to paddle thru the gate, so we were able to wait our turn and then paddle thru the gate. They were able to take some great pictures of us. Next, we paddled to a quieter river outlet and saw some sting rays and other schools of fish. We stopped at a couple beaches during the tour to rest. It was a great experience and we'd definitely do it again!

Had a great day going round miyajima on the paddle boards and especially going through the Torii gate! Can recommend to anyone either groups or by yourself.

Shin went out of his way to accommodate my last-minute request, inviting me for a late-afternoon SUP after his full-day tour. We went by car over a mountain pass to the south side of the island, where there was absolutely no-one. The sea was calm like a lake at that time, and paddling was pure pleasure. Shin is an excellent guide, it felt like I was paddling with a friend, while at the same time he made sure I had my space, and he also pointed out interesting things to see and learn. I had an amazing time on Shin's tour! Would recommend to anyone trying to experience something off the beaten path while traveling in Japan. This tour will take you to places most tourists will never see for themselves! On my tour, Shin and I paddled out to a few isolated islands full of wildlife and picturesque scenes.
