A uniquely Greek inspired lunch with an amazing rhubarb dessert that rivals your dear old grandmother’s. We had a delightful lunch at Anthonys Kitchen today. The falafel and sides of hummus/sauces with marinated red cabbage and carrots were all a delicious combination of textures and flavors. The flounder sandwich inside of a homemade squid-ink bun was cooked to perfection. AND the very best part of our lunch experience was Anthony’s homemade rhubarb trifle dessert/tea set. We couldn’t get enough of the sour and the sweet flavors. This dessert was the perfect combination to ring in the long-awaited beginning of spring and reminded me of my childhood summers picking rhubarb for my grandmother’s rhubarb crisp.

Nice and slow, owner chef is English, has a very interesting menu- does vegetarian on request, lots of variety and delicious. Falafels, sandwiches, Pastas , and a lot more Mediterranean food. Very friendly .tastes amazingly nice

Modern, Mediterranean style restaurant with amazing food. They get crowded, so it's better to make a reservation. There is parking nearby behind the restaurant.

Anthony has a great perspective when designing a holiday dinner. While this isn't food that is normally on the menu, you can see the ingenuity of his palate. Each dish worked well to create a Christmas dinner with soignee. Anthony's love of celeriac is definitely known by his regulars, but nothing ever seems overdone. This year has been rough for restaurants, but he has made every attempt to keep customers safe and comfortable in his restaurant. I am excited to see the next year of food at Tree.

I live in Tokyo and always come here for breakfast and lunch when I go to kofu. Really in love with this place. Top atmosphere and style. Came for breakfast this time and ordered the Turkish Cibir the portion was very large and delicious. Definitely one of the best breakfasts of my life. Very friendly staff and we got our order very quickly.

Anthony’s Kitchen is one of the best cafes you will visit in Japan. The food and beverages are always fresh and delicious. Anthony is a personal friend and catered my wedding. Honestly I couldn’t imagine any other place catering it. The food is just that good. If you are ever visiting Yamanashi or Kofu I definitely recommend checking it out.

Easily the best place to get breakfast from in Kofu! I have visited multiple times now and I can't recommend the food here highly enough. As a Brit living in Japan, one of the things I miss is Baked Beans, but Anthony's kitchen has got us covered. In addition to the amazing food, the staff are super friendly, providing a personal experience with each visit. I plan on working my way through their entire menu with each trip.

This restaurant is definitely worth a visit! Everything we ordered was so delicious. The only downside is trying to decide what to order, since we wanted to try all the items on the menu. We can’t wait to return and try more of Anthony’s creations!

If you want to experience great Mediterranean cooking look no further. Chef Anthony pours his love into his cooking. When you visit you'd be welcome with big smiles and fantastic service, and you'd leave with a full, satisfied tummy and a happy heart. We just celebrated our 18 years of being together here and we love the extra attention he gave us both. *The food is reasonably priced and sourced from fresh local produce.

Great food and super friendly staff! I'd eat here all the time if I lived here. Also, it's not advertised on the menu but they have gluten free bread to replace regular bread in many of the entrees.

Delicious! Greek and English inspired menu, with lots of vegetarian and meat choices which is so refreshing. Draws from chef’s experience working abroad. Staff were lovely, and also spoke English very well which was impressive. It was so nice to have good Western food in Kofu. The place always has specials on the menu which are worth trying. I would definitely recommend, so tasty!

My favorite place to eat in Kofu! Anthony combines his knowledge of Mediterranean and UK food to create a diverse menu that’s satisfying for everyone! We’ve visited for both lunch and brunch, and everything we’ve ordered has been so tasty! While everything is great, the french fries are shockingly good (best I’ve had in Japan tbh)! I also really love the peanut butter smoothie and the lemon pound cake. There are vegetarian options, and the menu is written in both Japanese and English. Anthony and his staff are so friendly and welcoming, it makes me look forward to visiting again and again.

Anthony’s Kitchen was a lovely place to eat brunch, with delicious food and 10/10 service. The food was of exceptional quality and the service was even better. Anthony himself was lovely, he spoke great English and gave us helpful recommendations for our trip.
