Tokyo walking tour with Rie was a highlight of our visit to Japan. Rie was very knowledgeable about the history of the city, explaining dates and facts regarding a variety of sites we visited. Some of the sites covered on the tour were the Asakusa Jinja Shrine, Imperial Palace and Sensouji temple. She was happy to answer all our questions and have discussions with our children about their knowledge on Japan. We found Rie to be extremely friendly and welcoming and would definitely recommend anyone visiting Tokyo to take a walking tour, you will not regret it!

We booked the Mt. Kurama tour in Kyoto and highly recommend it. Michiko-san, our tour guide, met us at our hotel and we commuted to Mt. Kurama together. It was such a nice experience for foreigners and locals alike because Michiko-san was very knowledgeable of Japanese history and we learned a lot from her. She also speaks perfect English! We were lucky enough to see wild deer on our hike and it made our hike truly special. We will definitely book again!

I only had 2 days in Tokyo for a layover, but they did a fantastic job organizing a tour that showed the highlights of the city. They were super helpful in helping to get my paperwork in order for the tour. My guide for the tour was also wonderful, very friendly, knowledgeable and engaging. I had a great time, and would recommend to anyone!

Osaka advance transit system is complicated and daunting to those first timer in Osaka. Without a guide, precious time is wasted navigating the routes. Our 1 day walk about tour begin at the Granvia Osaka hotel lobby meeting up with our cheerful & friendly guide Michiko san punctually @ 9.30 am.She explained the day itinerary before we proceed to take the intricate transit system in osaka station. We took some memories photographs at Osaka Castle n with Glico man at Dotoburi & visited the Kuromon Market to view fresh fruits & seafood. The puffer fish or fugu fish is a poisonous fish cost about 10 thousands yen each. Only certified licensed chef is qualified to prepare the toxic fish. We had the privileges (special Japanese lunch request) to taste this fugu sashimi during lunch break in one of the Dotonbori street restaurant. It is jelly like in texture & taste. Ok After lunch ,we visited the Shinsaibashi shopping mall and done our shopping there! Thank you Michiko san & Omakase for the well organized day trip which is customized to our preference. Highly recommend to those visiting Osaka City for the first time!

We found Omakase via a Facebook recommendation after contacting a few other Japanese travel agencies. Immediately we knew that Omakase was going to be the agency we went with. We interacted with Chiharu who was extremely knowledgeable and good at asking questions to get to know our personality and help customize the trip. She went out of her way to reserve, research, and book the perfect Japan trip. Her assistance with all of the paperwork to apply for the visa and health requirements was spot on and we were approved very easily. She booked us with a tour guide named Yuki. My best way to describe her was that she felt like having your very helpful and knowledgeable best friend on the trip with us. She guided us, modified bookings on the fly, and kept us laughing and learning the entire trip. And sent us wonderful photos after our trip. This was by far the best Japan trip we’ve ever had and we will definitely be booking our travel with Omakase again. I have nothing but praise for the staff at Trip Designer. The my made sure I was comfortable and safe at all times on my tour of Kochi in a wheelchair. They tour was extremely well planned and most enjoyable. I could visit places off the beaten track that only locals would know about. They were professional at all times and their knowledge of the area was fantastic. Our day trip would not have been exciting if we did not have a tour guide, Ms Yuki Panvel, as experienced and friendly. Ms Yuki took us to places we hardly had any idea about, like the shrines. Honestly one of the best guided trips I have ever had. The guides are top notch and the planner was extra helpful. From solving all our doubts to giving great recommendations for places to visit. Selecting hotels with great connectivity and great food options nearby. They even helped us book meals on some restaurants we wanted to try. Since we went at the end of COVID, they kept us up to date on the restrictions and process to get there. Every time the government made a change, they would also give us information the following day. They also kept good communication and would answer sure questions quickly while on other agencies we tried, they would take several days. Over all, I do recommend working with them.

Hiring them was the best decision we made for our trip to Japan. Everyone was amazing, cordial, and friendly. The tour they plan for us was very well design with lots of beautiful places, both natural and historical. They were always within reach to help with doubts or to make reservations in restaurants. They also helped us with the hotels, and it was pretty nice arriving and not having to bother with that. And they picked the best locations. The guides were friendly and knowledgeable. I can’t say how happy I am with their services; 100% recommended. I hope to go back and if I do I would hire them again.

We had a wonderful tour guide, Nori. He was very accommodating and patient with us, which we really appreciate. The tours (Sapporo and Otaru) were wonderful, where we get to see a lot of things, as well as indulged in good food. For our next visit to Japan, we would certainly book tours through this site again. Totally recommended!

Excellent tour and superb guide. Our guide, Sachiyo is fluent in english and knowledgeable to all the places. We travel by train which is very interesting and enjoy much of my two sons. There are sufficient time to all the places to discover. We also eat at the local restaurant which foods are delicious and affordable. Highly recommended for first timer in japan to fell the local atmosphere and culture. Thanks a lot Sachiyo for a wonderful day and experience.

The Walking tour in Yanaka (a quiet and relaxed area of Tokyo near to JR Nippory station) was exactly what I was looking for! The guide, Yumi, was very nice, professional, patient and funny at the same time. She helped me with any request even after the tour was finished. I highly recommend it. Thank you Trip Designer!

Our guide Ayako was knowledgeable and had great English. She went above and beyond to make our day as seamless as possible and we had a great day exploring the sights of Kobe. The confirmation email received from the company prior to the tour perfectly explained the itinerary for the day and even included photos of where to meet and a photo of our guide. Our only suggestion would be to add the expectation to pay for the guides lunch as an item not covered in the tour cost. While we didn’t mind, it would be good to know this in advance before booking the tour.

My son and I had a wonderful day exploring Osaka with our guide Ayako-san, who was super knowledgeable and a lovely person! This is the perfect way to do a one day tour of Osaka. Highlights were Osaka Castle, Kuromon Market, Dotonbori & Shinsaibashi. We stopped at Botejyu Dontonbori restaurant for some delicious okonomiyaki at lunchtime. We highly recommend this tour! 😊

Masa is an outstanding English speaking guide. We saw more of Tokyo in one day than some people see in 3 days. His knowledge of the subway system and location of key points of interest allowed for maximum exposure to Tokyo in one day than we ever expected.

Kyoko was a lovely, easy to converse with, tour guide. She was punctual and had a plan for our tour but also wanted to make sure we were comfortable with her ideas and was happy to deviate if we wanted a change. We would highly recommend this company.

My son and I had a fantastic time visiting Sumo practice and going on the night time food tour! Both events were very organized and extremely fun. Our food tour with Tetsu felt like visiting with an old friend in a new place. We saw areas of the city and ate food we never would have found on our own. Highly recommend!
