Fantastic architecture which creates an even better atmosphere for the fans! Went to see the rugby match of Japan vs France and together with 58000 spectators, had a great time. The prices for beer and food are really fair compared to the US or Europe and makes one enjoy it even more! If you have the chance to see an exciting sport match in here, go do it! Recommended to any sports fan

That there's the prime stadium for the Tokyo Olympics, isn't it? Quite a lovely piece of architecture, I must say. But I'm rather hoping Japanese make a splendid use of this legacy, you know.

Really awesome stadium with lots of unforgettable memories of Tokyo 2020 Olympics. This stadium is newly built with all the latest technology and infrastructure. I was lucky to be part of Tokyo 2020 and was able to witness many historic moments at this stadium. The stadium itself is so beautiful and state of art. I highly recommend to visit it if you get a chance.

A very nice stadium. Spectacular design. The view from the first and the second floor. But the third floor is really difficult to see the player on the field.

The Olympic stadium which was actually used during Tokyo 2020. They open this stadium for general public after Olympics. Tour begins every 30 minutes daily. We had tickets for multiple Olympic Games during Tokyo 2020, but unfortunately cancelled the tickets due to COVID. Now I’m glad at least we could visit the venue. The stadium was designed by the famous Japanese architect Shigeru Ban. The eaves on the outer perimeter of the roof are made of woods from every prefecture in Japan and the arena’s seats colors are earth color to represent Japanese beautiful nature. It was fun to see such details.

(Translated by Google) I visited in the university rugby final. Since there is a track, I felt a little far from the player compared to Chichibumiya. However, I felt that the design of the stadium was stylish. Also, I received a hamburger, but the quality of the food and drink at the shop was not flattering. The hamburger came with ketchup and mustard, which you can get hot snacks at a convenience store, on bread with just a batter. I would like you to focus on food, such as making specialties that can only be eaten at the National Stadium.

Beautifully designed to allow a natural breeze to cool the inside of the stadium, and built with “certified wood” from all of the 47 Prefectures in Japan (like the relatively nearby Meiji Shrine), it’s a very nice addition to this area of Tokyo. With all the security fencing set up for the 2020 Olympic Games and the Paralympic Games (July ~ September 2021) it was hard to see the Stadium in all its natural beauty, but now that this is over and this security fencing can be reduced, the surrounding area with all its greenery and various things to see will make for wonderful walking trails and courses. On the plus side, the Stadium is very conveniently located less than 500 meters (340 meters according to the sigh board) from the exit of the nearest train station (Sendagaya Station), so getting there will not be a hassle either for most people. I’ve included some photos to help with walking around the area. Please enjoy your time here!

I found the stadium tour and decided to go there with my friend who love athletics. We could see the wall with athletes' autographs, interviews booth, athletes’ waiting room, and stadium seats. Especially, what we mostly enjoyed was to run on the real truck and field! You can check the schedule and buy the tickets that is ¥1,500 for an adult on the stadium homepage.

Nice stadium but you would expect Japan's national stadium to have a dome to not worry about the weather Very warm feeling a lot of usage of wood Seats are too far from field Separate to the stadium but Japanese are too quiet/polite when watching a game, at one point there was no sound while the game was actually going on As a spectator, stadium design and layouts are nice but the experience is what makes stadiums famous

It’s a mess around there right now during the Olympics and Paralympics. Too many cops and volunteers, so it ruins the Olympic vibe. The complex is blocked by fences, so there is not much to see. Hopefully one day people will be able to attend games at this stadium.

(Translated by Google) The former National Stadium was completely renovated with the aim of responding to the deterioration of the National Stadium Kasumigaoka (former National Stadium), which opened in 1958, and making it the main venue for the Tokyo Olympics and Paralympics. The facility was built by the new national stadium, and the construction project started in 2012 under the tentative name of the new national stadium. Construction started in December 2016, and the official name after opening on July 3, 2019 was announced by the Japan Sport Council to be "National Stadium", and it was completed in November 2019. The facility opening ceremony (opening event) was held on December 21, 2019]. As a sporting event, Kobe defeated Kashima and won the first victory at the Emperor's Cup JFA 99th All Japan Soccer Championship Final, Vissel Kobe vs Kashima Antlers on January 1, 2020. The official location is Kasumigaokamachi, Shinjuku-ku, but the stadium site is located across Shinjuku-ku and Shibuya-ku. It is adjacent to Meiji Jingu Gaien, but it is not included in the facilities of Jingu Gaien. At the time of opening, it was built as an athletics stadium and ballpark, and in addition to the opening and closing ceremonies at the Tokyo Olympics, it will be the venue for athletics (track and field) and soccer (women's final), and the opening and closing ceremonies at the Tokyo Paralympics In addition to the ceremony, it is used for athletics (track & field and marathon goals). Regarding the usage after the Olympics and Paralympics, there are proposals such as "retaining as an athletics stadium" and "renovating to a facility dedicated to ball games", but it has been clarified that the conclusion will be postponed until after the end of the Games. It is fluid. The Chichibu Memorial Sports Museum, which existed in the facility of the former National Stadium Kasumigaoka, was included in the "hospitality function" in the recruitment of new designs and is expected to be installed, but it was not installed at the time of opening, Ayase, Adachi-ku.

The newly built National Stadium! Been there few times already. It's big, it's for the Olympics 2020. Access is very good, almost connected to the train station, and there are other stations nearby. You can even walk to Shibuya or Shinjuku. Seating is very compact, spacing between the seat in front is too small, it's difficult to pass when someone is sitting. Going to the upper levels was also kinda difficult. Toilets and faculties are good, I guess.
