JICA TBIC is a very good place to learn about various technical projects. I am here for my 1-month course on Flood Control Planning. Excellent rooms for participants. Good food. I really like the gym. The front desk is very accommodating.

The excellent center for participants from all over the world. The center offers different courses mainly rice based skills. The meals are plenty but may looks different in term of delivery compare to other JICA centers such as JICA Tokyo or Hiroshima. Is the place I remember more for having loving leaders who care all ethnic people from all over. The stay at TBIC these words are compulsory; gohan, kohi, irashaisu, itadakimasu, ikura wa nan desu ka, lampsote, akachan, keinshuin, kagi, milokadi, kocha, miluku e.t.c

I just would like to share some information which doesn't have on the JICA homepage. About staying place (dormitory) ・Hair dryer ・Teeth brush ・comb ・shampoo with conditioner ・body soap ・towel(big and small) ・slipper ・air-conditioner ・refrigerator ・WiFi ・hunger towels and teeth brush and comb is distributed everyday. There is restroom and shower in the own room, but laundering/drying machine place is communal at each floor. About restaurant we can pay by cash or prepaid transportation cards. The fee for breakfast is included in the room bill.

Nice place. Stayed there for 10 months, from January til October 1992. Valuable life experience. Farm machinery design team. From there to Arakawaki Starion and from there to Tokyo by train right into Ueno Park

What a great place to be. I was here for three months in 2013 February to April. we had a nice time during the time. never forget this place

Great place I have spend two months here memorable period of my life

Spent 1 month here for technical training program on flood management. It’s definitely a great experience. Foods are tasty and considerably cheap (Restaurant is open for public during lunch and dinner time). Microwave available in lounge at 2nd and 5th floor. Room service is not available during weekend. Vending machine available in front of Restaurant.

It’s a very good place for researchers. They have various short and long courses and also Masters and PhD courses.

I love this place as I spent 9 months of training course and gaining extensive amount of knowledge and skills. love Japan and Japanese, and TBIC.
