👍👍 Had a great time on the Space Boat traveling from Asakusa to Odiaba. Prices are very reasonable approximately $12usd (~¥1700) from Asakusa to Odiaba . If you understand Japanese you get a great tour as you travel the Sumida River with commentary provided by Tokyo’s resident alien. Be sure to get to... Had a great time on the Space Boat traveling from Asakusa to Odiaba. Prices are very reasonable approximately $12usd (~¥1700) from Asakusa to Odiaba . If you understand Japanese you get a great tour as you travel the Sumida River with commentary provided by Tokyo’s resident alien. Be sure to get to the front of the line to have your choice of the best seats. Once the boat travels further down the river to where the bridges are higher, the crew will open the observation deck for even more fantastic views. Premium seating is available by reservation for an additional $30usd (¥4000) or so. I’d definitely recommend the premium seating for the evening cruise and when you like to share a drink with friends.

A lovely experience. Wonderful way to go to Odaiba and enjoy the cruise on Sumida River. When you finish visiting Asakusa and still have half a day it is a good idea to do this and end your day in Odaiba. But have in mind that it can be really crowded especially in groups of tourists arrive. So buy your ticket as early as possible. Also, for the full experience get on the super futuristic boats - Hotaluna and Himiko. I prefer Hotaluna because it has a deck on top.

Very nice and well worth tour of Tokyo's riverside, especially after cruising about 20 minutes ride southbound. They have some beverages and drinks on the cruise for reasonable prices.

It was a really nice experience seeing the sprawling Tokyo Metropolis from the bay and to see the different bridges that dot the inland water passages. The staff were nice, especially the Filipino guy who chatted with us a bit.

Amazing spot to visit. Recommend to visit in evening. You can view beautiful scene of river and sky tree by its side. Must visit place for tourists. Water bus ride is one of the amazing experiences.

This ferry cruise terminal is located near to the Asakusa train station. We had booked a sunset cruise which came with a packed dinner (of sushi and a canned drink) plus a cruise up and down the Sumida River. We were in Tokyo in April so we were looking forward to seeing the sakura trees lining up along the Sumida River. As the sun set, the warm glow against the Asahi Building and the Sky Tree was so beautiful.

The Sumida river cruise was ok. I thought at first there would be better views of Tokyo then there actually were. At the beginning and at the end, the views were good but not for long periods in between.

Limited commentary which is really hard to hear/understand, mostly focused on the various bridges you will pass. The scenery was not very interesting to be honest.

Take a break from bustling city traffic. Enjoy the water canals of Tokyo 🗼 . Get a coffee before hopping on the Boat . You can get a snap of Olympic rings if your destination is Odaiba.

Nice experience. Its not included in our itinerary that day but we opted to skip riding the trains to rest our feet from walking and transferring from station to station. The attendants at the ticket booth our from different nations, to accomodate the tourists.

The ship was clean and well-maintained, and the staff was incredibly friendly and attentive. My cabin was spacious and comfortable. One important thing is please make sure you book in advance before going.

We took a roundtrip tour from Asakusa to get a great view of the cherry blossoms. Reserve a box seat to have a private booth below deck with a window view. Around $50 USD for four adults.
