This is a nice cafe and bookshop on Jimbocho Bookstreet. The café offers good coffee and various snacks and food options. All the books are in Japanese.

An outdoor sign caught my eyes! I was tempted by the menu board which said "Lamb keema curry" and I got sucked into the cafe. The spicy curry was delicious! If you are a lamb curry fan, this is the place to visit. This cafe is located on the corner in a famous book shops area. You can enjoy books, coffee and curry!

The quite little place that serves food. You can grab alcohol or warm tea or coffee. Reading options for Japanese books if you know Japanese. Located in nice corner along with the lots of bookstores.

Wonderful coffee shops rife with excellent academic books that you can buy (especially philosophy, economics, and literature). Very working friendly atmosphere, since most of the customers are here to enjoy reading books or discuss while sipping a coffee.

A nice place to spend sometime reading a book and enjoying a drink. They also have foods, but I haven't tried it yet. As for the drink I would recommend the cold brew coffee, it is great. Japanese name is　新書判コーヒー。 The chocolate brownie is wonderful too, it's slim and complements the cold brew just right. In the menu it goes by name チョコレートショップ「nel」のブラウニー。 If you want to stay you heed to order a drink. It's ok to read your own book, or one of the selection the shop has to offer. You can also buy a book here. Take it slowly, enjoy your time 😉

Nice, small bookstore with a cafe. We looked at the books and the. sat down for a minute before ordering and were quickly informed ‘where the ordering area was located’. We’d planned to get coffee but decided to go elsewhere. I understand where they’re coming from, but this made us feel uncomfortable and unwelcome. It seems like a nice place as long as you plan to order drinks immediately and constantly.

Cool place to drink coffee and read a good book. Jazz music in the background and really nice staff. Brownie is amazing.

¥1000 wagyu curry + bottomless drinks + books galore + maximum comf environment + extremely convenient location = a place you'd definitely want to visit for lunch and relaxation!
