Amazing place! I was looking at the restaurant when a nice woman called me in. Of course I obliged and turns out she wasn’t a hostess, but actually one of the customers😅 I think this goes to show the friendly neighborhood atmosphere of the place. The restaurant has room for about 10 people standing, and was probably the best experience I could’ve asked for as my first sushi place in Japan. The food is delicious and reasonable and comes out really quickly. The staff and clientele are really nice and I had such a blast and laughed most of the meal with everyone there, even though we didn’t speak the same language. I highly recommend anyone looking for a sushi experience in Japan to bookmark this place and bee line to it.

This place is awesome. Totally exceeded my expectations. The fish was so fresh, and the quality SO high. I just kept ordering and ordering. When the bill came, it was $36 and some change USD. Similar quality sushi in LA would easily cost $100 if not more. Worth the wait, an amazing experience!

I researched sushi restaurants in Asakusa before deciding on this one and it was some of the best sushi I've ever had. Reasonably priced, quick service and amazing flavor. Try the Oh Toro, akaebi and zuke saba. Coming back again! FYI - For consideration, it is a standing restaurant

Cash only | Conveyor belt sushi | English menu | Nakamise Great little spot for good conveyor belt sushi on Nakamise. Not as mainstream as others but still have English menu. Has decent sake options and staff are kind and friendly. The quality of fish are above average. I'd definitely come back for more if I'm in the area.

A nice, casual sushi bar in the neighborhood. This place is a standing-style. There are always a lot of seasonal items of fish. Generally not so expensive even though if you order a fatty portion of tuna. Here is the one of my favorite sushi eateries in Asakusa. I'd say nearly 40% of customers are foreigners. You can enjoy beer, authentic sake and flavorful sushi & seafood(^O^)

Ordered the two platters below, did not disappoint at all! Extremely glad with the quality in this touristy street. The queue moves really quickly so don’t worry if it seems that the restaurant is full.

Totally deserves the rating. Excellent service that matches the quality of the fish and it’s preparation. Ordered a tuna set then “a la carte” to explore the varieties largely unavailable anywhere outside of Japan. Chef was a delight and provided excellent recommendations throughout our meal. Sake added the levity to really make this a special occasion.

This was the best sushi I’ve had in Japan and I’ve been here for about a month. I’m very picky about freshness, it doesn’t get any fresher than this. It’s a small counter and standing only. This caught me off guard, but I actually really loved standing and chatting with people next to me as I was alone. Everyone but me was local from what I could tell, which was also really cool. The prices are very affordable. Everyone there from staff to customers were super friendly. I just found my new favorite place in Tokyo! I will be back soon. Thank you!

An amazing sushi bar which made your orders right in front of you. We waited for about 20 minutes outside as it was full of locals which could only mean it was good! Was certainly worth the wait and we were spoilt for choice. Our only experience of anywhere like this but we loved every second as Brits!! You have to stand to eat your sushi but that almost made it feel more authentic.

A truly authentic standing sushi bar. However, they also had an English menu available. Being in the home of sushi, Japan, even the cheapest sushi here tastes better than sushi three times the price in London. If this place were in the UK, I'd be extremely happy.

Small space, standimg counter service. Sushi and miso soup were excellent! Casual environment. Menus in English. The chefs were friendly.

Really enjoyed the sushi here. It is a standing style sushi restaurant. Pretty affordable for the quality and the sushi comes out fast. They do have english menu available. We got there at 2:00 and there was no wait. Staff is friendly too.

Pretty great food quality but could offer more variety. When we went, there wasn't much on the belts and we needed to order things ourselves.

Small sushi joint with great sushi! Chef was attentive but certainly stoic. Would recommend. There was no line when we went. Great spot in the middle of asakusa. Flavors hit the spot and the bill was reasonable. Good selection.

It was so good. Small place without seat ( standing & eating). Fresh sushi but inexpensive. Thank you for the wonderful meal.

We love this place came back here twice. They serve high quality sushi with inexpensive price. This is a standing sushi and can be confused with another spot with similar name that has revolving sushi. They have ruined our sushi experience for us once we got back to USA. Two of our favorite dishes were the scallops and sweet shrimp sushi.

The restaurant is small with counter standing only. The staff is friendly and helpful. It's a popular restaurant. I waited 30 minutes. The sushi is great. Definitely worth the wait. They have a large maguro selection. The kamatoro was excellent. The five piece maguro set was very good. Several things I wanted were out, so I'll have to return.

👍 Similar to the Japanese equivalent of McDonald's, it offers a quick, convenient, and generally delicious dining experience. My favorite dish, after sea urchin, is the crab cream or cream paste sushi. Its richness leaves a lingering umami flavor in the mouth.

👍 This is only a review of their takayuki - they were pretty good. There wasn't a line when we arrived. We just ordered 4 and I think that was a nice option because they are pretty filling. There is a table on the side where you can add brown sauce, mayo and the flakes. The outside has a nice chewines...
