A sizable BookOff in Hakata offering everything you need. I went to attempt to find a book all in hiragana that I could practice my reading and speed. I knew that I'd only find something in the children's section. After an hour of searching I found something. A book or children's stories all in hiragana. Perfect! It was ¥900 and will allow me much practice to learning to recognize works, pronunciations, and vocabulary.

BookOffs are incredible Japanese institutions. Every conceivable second-hand item can be found. Great place for CD-, DVD-, and book-hunters. Also a great place to check out musical instruments, particularly guitars and guitar related gear.

I buy some super limited Gunpla here on the 1st floor. On 2nd floor you can find wide range of Japanese novel & comics. Low price, some bulk sale. Must visit! Location very easy to reach.

Amazing second hand bookstore. Staff was very helpful and the store has a great variety of books for great prices. I bought 3 books and all of them looked like new.

Quite a big store with an expansive collection from electronics, audio equipment, instruments, books, DVDs, games etc. Was pleasantly surprised to find an old Traktor Kontrol S2 for only 8000yen. Would recommend you have a look, who knows what you can find. Huge selection of vinyl records too!

Second hand stuff from Japan of the highest quality . Maybe 30-40% off. Everything from model kits, electronics, clothes to jewelry ... a massive one stop place if you're pressed for time.

Did not see any pretend musician's CD-Rs here. Good used selection of real musicians in a completely Marc Lowe Music Free Zone.

The place that you can spend a long time for anime and game lovers. The staff also seem very happy to help, just show him the picture of the item you want, no japanese skill required :) but i'd like to say arigatou kosaimatsu for his service and help !!!

My favorite second hand book store that you can buy a book for just as cheap as 100yen! This bookoff is a huge size shop in which second hand toys, watches, clothes and bags can be found.

Really close to Hakata station. Not so many collections but you can find books, toys, cards, bags, camera, laptops and music equipments. If you want more complete collections, head for Tenjin. There is a subway kuko line to the nearby station

I liked this book off more than the bookoff Grand Bazaar that is much bigger but full of mostly clothes. This bookoff sells second hand good, more electronics than usual and English book selection was pretty big too.

For a second hand store with no warranty the price is comparable to those in shops. So unless its a rare or old item not available in regular shops, why buy old ones for the price of new one? Though nice to vrowse old items and reminiscence....

You can buy anime figures , manga, magazines, game tech. And more come and visit.

Selection not too bad at level 1 - filled with games for PS4 and Nintendo Switch. Level 2 are mostly items such as books and comics. Staff are friendly and any item purchased which may be fragile will be bubble wrapped, which is great!!
