Ōkurayama Ski Jump Stadium, a ski jumping has hosted a number of winter sports events including 1972 Winter Olympics and FIS Nordic World Ski Championships 2007. We are here to view beautiful Sapporo City and experience on world class skiing facilities.

Good viewpoint in winter. It's not too crowded place. If you want to get here, have 2 choices l, by bus and taxi. By bus, you have to walk uphill around 10-15 mins. It's not too steep. In winter, you can enjoy the view along the way up.

Pros: very cool that the 1972 Winter Olympics ski jump was here. Beautiful scenes. Great ice cream and other snacks in the morning. Ample parking. Cons: not so easy to access by public transit. Fees for museum and lift a but much. Food also not cheap. Inattentive or indifferent staff. Overall: as part of a bus tour, great! But out of the way and expensive. Worth a visit for the historical value.

This place have an amazing view and is really fun to go in the zip line, is actually not that expensive and it includes the entrance to the winter sports museum. It Cool to visit with your kids. And don't forget to drink a Sapporo Clasica on the observatory desk

Passed by this place en route to Otaru. Coming from a tropical country, we were not used to the idea of ski jumps…. The scale is much bigger in person and you could just imagine the athletes engaged in this sport! I can imagine the beauty with snow all around. This time of the year though— snow has melted.

The place is rather empty when there is no event. The ticketing booth is at the opposite side of the entrance to the ski cable car (600yen). The staff is helpful and will standby to help you when needed to embark and disembark the ski cable. The view is awesome from the top and is definitely worth coming here. We skipped the museum because the pamphlet is not as appealing.

Been here twice, cool if you're a first timer due to the exciting ski lift ride and incredible view from the top of the ski jump, other than that not much else interesting, there is a shop selling souvenirs, everything was very clean.

One of the cooler experiences I’ve had in Sapporo, the views of the city are beautiful and the size of the ski jump is breath taking. Unfortunately the Olympic museum is closed until March 2023 for renovations. Absolutely worth the trip, we took a taxi because it would have been about double as long a trip from the hotel to actually arrive at the ski jump. The cafe had curry breads and meat pastries that were good, even if they were warmed in the microwave.

Okurayama ski stadium was built in 1972 for the olympics and until now it is still well maintained. I heard that it is still being used for skiing during winter and some occasional events. Looks promising still.

The chair lift was the best experience of our day, really stunning views of Sapporo. The pictures do the views no justice at all. I'd strongly recommend a visit, the nearby Olympic museum and lift pass can be bought as a 1000yen bundle.

Definitely go in the winter for ski jumping competition. it’s also the best time for visiting this ice cold city to enjoy the ice festival. Also Best ramen is waiting for you just right there - in Sapporo! Enjoy

A place must be visited if given a chance. Not much activites to do but surely a place worth to be there to be part of the history. The view is magnificent once you get to the peak!
