(Translated by Google) It took about 40 minutes by bus from Niigata Station and about an hour from Bandai Bus Center, both costs 580 yen. It's so far away. Access is the worst. Moreover, if you go by bus, there are very few buses on the way home, so even if you want to go home early because you lost, you can't go home until around 16:00. Unlike Nakayama and Fuchu, there are few people, so it's a warm and peaceful atmosphere. It's a pleasant place that will make you smile unintentionally. There were many people sitting on the grass on the side of the course with leisure sheets spread out. Some people are lying down. I wish Fuchu was this peaceful. In spring, the temperature is moderate and very comfortable. But in the summer, I felt like I was going to die from the extreme heat of over 40 degrees, so I definitely won't go there again (laughs). If you go out of your way to see ibis Summer Dash from a distance, you will definitely regret it. Amateurs like me who don't have heat tolerance should only go to the spring event. Otherwise, you will end up gulping down expensive pocari.

Toyosaka Station → Niigata Racecourse, 2200 yen by taxi. Niigata Racecourse → Niigata Station, 580 yen by special bus. This is the racetrack with the least access in Japan. Other than that it was great! As expected, Chinao is excited when he is alive. Also, the local beer and beef tendon stew were really delicious! ️

It was my first time visiting! Despite the rainy weather, it was a lot of fun. It's a local racetrack, so it's small, but it's just the right distance for a walk, there's a good selection of food, and there's a small convenience store, which is nice. The paddock also had an open atmosphere with a nice breeze blowing through. I watched the game from a UMACA seat and it was really good. It was very appealing. It's a place I don't get to visit very often, but I want to go again. When I left, I received a word of gratitude from the staff! I was really happy. I've only heard of local racetracks. Employees from the four major G1 racecourses! I wanted to learn from him. It is best to come by car as there are plenty of parking spaces available! There were also taxis and buses, but it wasn't crowded that day so it was relatively empty. This is my second visit to the racecourse, and although I was disappointed with the rainy weather this time, it was still a fun racecourse. I think the local JRA racetracks are the most fun. You'll never get tired of the local food. This time in the kitchen car, I didn't eat any because I was full of gyoza and it smelled bad, and I didn't win any horse racing tickets, but it was a racetrack that I would definitely go to again.

(Translated by Google) Niigata Racecourse is the only racecourse in Japan where you can see a straight 1000m race. The horses run closer to the stands than normal races, so it's a powerful experience. You can enter for 100 yen, and the kids' space is substantial, so it's recommended for families. (Translated by Google) JRA racetrack. There will be competitions such as Ibis Summer Dash for summer horse racing, Sekiya Kinen, and levered stakes. What a 💨 Free parking lot! ️ And I'm really happy with the admission fee of 100 yen 🙆 The meaning of ibis is the "time" of the prefectural bird in Niigata. After all, this is the only place in Niigata where you can enjoy the real thrill of a 1000-meter straight race. It has the highest rating of ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ among the JRA's local racecourses. (Translated by Google) Unlike zoos, you can see horses that are free and unfettered by fences. Seeing horses running in earnest right in front of you is powerful. There are two stands, and the Nils stand on the front side has been renovated and looks beautiful. The ibis stand on the far side is a little old-fashioned. The lawn area along the course is also long and narrow, so many people sit on camping chairs and rugs. Playground equipment for children is also available free of charge, so even families can enjoy it. In fact, there are quite a few families. The food court is also reasonably priced for a tourist spot, so you can enjoy it. However, the area in front of the betting ticket sales area is a hotbed for people who risk their lives for betting tickets, so families should stay away as much as possible.

Access is quite difficult. I visited there once before, but the number of buses was too low. I was told about the bus to the racecourse at the Niigata Bus Center, but I remember that it took nearly two hours to get there. This time we will take a taxi from Niigata Airport to the racecourse. The road was pretty empty Taxi fare is about 3,000 yen for just 20 minutes. It was a taxi that flew quite easily. I was surprised a little. On the way back, take the bus to Niigata Station It took quite a while due to traffic jams. It is the only racecourse in Japan with a straight 1000m course. In terms of size, it's not that big, and it's not small either. Fully packed with locals There were also small children running around in the heat. There was a fair amount of play equipment for children, and there was also a horse riding corner where you could ride a pony next door. On the other hand, I couldn't find a kids room, so maybe I didn't notice or it wasn't set up. Is it a little difficult to get lunch when there are so many people? I thought so, but there were more shops and temporary shops than I expected. By changing the time a little, I was able to get my meal without having to wait in line. I ate the famous sauce cutlet bowl. It's a shame that I couldn't finish eating it because of the taste and smell of old oil, although it's a famous dish. Closed topic If you've ever seen a 1000m straight race, you'll probably think, "Aha!" It is also the closest racecourse in Japan where you can see racehorses running. The outermost part of the course, closest to the spectators, is the most advantageous course, so the horses run furiously from left to right at a distance that you can reach with your hands (of course, it's dangerous, so don't put your hands on it). You shouldn't. To be honest, access is pretty bad. Although it is a racecourse that requires a lot of preparation in order to go to it. The only straight 1000m race This is the kind of racetrack you want to visit at least once to see this.

I went to try it out with a friend of mine who became a horse racing fan due to the influence of a certain VTuber and also a certain social game. I wondered if I would be able to enjoy it even though I don't know much about horse racing, but my fears were unfounded. The inside of the facility has become a horse theme park, and the number of visitors varies from pure horse racing fans to families and people who follow the jockeys. Even those who aren't interested in horse racing can still enjoy the stalls, the corner where you can interact with ponies, and the train and fountain corner for children. You can watch the game indoors, but you can also enjoy the highly immersive competition right near the course. Even those who shy away from horse racing because it's gambling may be able to broaden their horizons and realize that there is a world like this out there.

(Translated by Google) Thanks. Ibis money crush. If you want to park close to the facility on the day of the graded race, please go early in the morning and stand by. Even if it's not nearby, the parking lot is huge, but I think it will fill up quickly if you take your time. The tare katsudon of "Yutaka" in the facility was delicious. I'm always betrayed by Yutaka (Takeshi) who is different from me. Let's continue to buy betting tickets and win.

Of the 10 JRA racetracks nationwide, this is the only racetrack with a straight course where straight 1000m races are held. There is also a wide selection of racetrack gourmet food, including Niigata's long-established Western restaurant, Italia-ken. It takes about 30 minutes if you take the direct bus via the bypass from the south exit (Shinkansen side) of Niigata Station.

I went on the day of the Ibis Summer Dash (GIII), so it was quite crowded, but I didn't have any particular problems lining up. It was quite hot, but the air conditioning was working properly in the room. You can exit and re-enter midway through. The bus ride back was quite long, so I think it would be better to arrive at a different time or by car. We went by car, and the parking lot wasn't full. (Arrived a little before 1R)

I was given the opportunity to travel. It's in a very inconvenient location unless you go by car. I took a taxi from Toyosaka Station. It seems like there used to be a bus before. The racecourse was nice and clean. It was also fun to watch Chinao's race.

Although it is a little difficult to access by public transportation, it is a good racecourse that is both old-fashioned and clean. The straight line of the course is really long and flat, so it's exciting to see horses approaching from afar ^^ There are also benches and TVs for watching the races. There are also ponies and miniature horses. A miniature horse that never moves and a pony that keeps walking around.

I stopped by after going camping. There is also a park, a pony riding experience, and an indoor play area for children, so the children had a fun time seeing the horses too. You can also purchase horse racing tickets at the indoor playground, so both adults and children can have fun★

As mentioned by other people's reviews, it seems that access is difficult. If you are planning to go, I recommend going with someone who lives in Niigata. Parking fee is free. Admission is free unless it is held in Niigata. Most of the seats are free, except for some paid seats, so you can sit without any problems. Meals can also be eaten at various locations. My personal recommendation is motsu stew. This may be the case at other racecourses, but this may be the reason why racecourses have a bad image because of the bad sitting on the floor. If you live in Niigata, I recommend you to go there even once.

This race course is Nice. Pretty good atmosphere here in August during the race period despite extreme hot in August. The staffs are friendly. They provide the betting slip in English and assistance as well to people with low Japanese proficiency.

Nice venue. Not much of a gambler but I really did enjoy watching the horses run. Lots of different foods to choose from for a snack or for a meal. My brother-in-law took me to see the races it was fun.
