It’s
not
nice
to
leave
a
bad
review
for
a
small
business
but
this
is
perhaps
the
first
time
in
Japan
I
have
eaten
in
a
place
where
the
owners
are
obviously
in
the
wrong
jobs.
I
get
the
feeling
that
serving
food
was
an
after-thought.
The
Japanese
waitress
did
her
best
but
was
let
down
by
the
foreign
owners
who
just
did
little
to
support
her.
When
we
arrived
there
were
two
other
customers.
We
ordered
a
couple
of
cheese
and
mushroom
burgers
with
fries
but
when
they
came
after
30
minutes
there
was
no
cheese
in
them
and
the
portion
of
fries
was
tiny
and
they
were
stone
cold.
I
complained
about
this
and
they
put
a
bit
of
cheese
in
the
burger
but
left
the
fries
as
they
were.
I
thought
about
complaining
again
but
we
just
decided
to
eat
and
then
leave.
We
went
to
pay
and
the
foreign
owner
guy
was
really
awkward
and
weird
-
even
charged
us
for
the
cheeseburgers
that
had
no
cheese
plus
various
extras
that
we
did
not
order.
The
atmosphere
just
felt
awkward
-
an
incompetent
owner
bossing
around
a
nice
and
helpful
waitress
who
did
her
best
under
bad
conditions.
It’s
rare
to
get
bad
food
in
Japan
so
really
disappointing
-
the
owner
could
benefit
from
6
months
working
in
a
professional
kitchen
before
trying
to
open
his
own
place.
