Absolutely blown away by this cafe from start to finish! The vibe is so relaxing and chic when you enter and the host Jun san was super lovely. He stayed and chatted for a while and shared his knowledge of the area and snowboarding! The interior design is so inviting and makes you want to wander around. So much to enjoy and there’s a shop at the back with unique quality jewellery and some clothing. Coffee was so good and lovely biscuit served at the side. We enjoyed the scrambled egg breakfast which was so tasty - we haven’t had feta in a long long time! There is so much attention to detail here from the furniture to the cups and cutlery. If you are in Yuzawa definitely visit here and stay a while :) you won’t be disappointed!

Awesome!!! I can't believe there's a cafe like this in Niigata! It's a really nice cafe. The menu varies. Interior and various props are really impressive. Food and Music are also good! I saved it as a place I want to come back to when I come to Niigata.

A stunning wine bar/furniture showroom. Great food and selection of wines. The perfect place to enjoy a drink or two after a day on the mountain. Highly recommend it!

They made a meal our son could have (he has allergies). Very friendly service and great cocktails. Recommend to anyone who is dropping by to check out the snow.

Great vibes and atmosphere together with delicious food. The staff were very friendly and insiteful about the location and was able to provide tips for us newbie snowboarders. The food menu was small but we enjoyed everything. Our evening stop here after a long day snowboarding was the cherry on top of our fabulous stay in Yuzawa.

Best place for wine in Yuzawa ...possibly Niigata. Also cool vibe with the interior decoration - best coffee and cheese cake.

Great time with new friends and the ambiance of the shop was amazing!! The wine selection was made up of new and old world makers, with something for seasoned wine drinkers and just beginning wine drinkers as well.

Came in for dinner, drinks and some shopping with a friend and had a great experience. My friend is gluten-free and they were extremely accommodating! The staff were all very kind and attentive. Burgers were huge, juicy and cooked perfectly. Fries and nachos were good portions and tastey. The mulled wine was really good as well. The furniture was beautiful and the atmosphere was relaxing. Made a purchase from the store and can’t wait to order more from their online catalog. Highly recommend stopping in if you’re visiting Yuzawa.

It’s not nice to leave a bad review for a small business but this is perhaps the first time in Japan I have eaten in a place where the owners are obviously in the wrong jobs. I get the feeling that serving food was an after-thought. The Japanese waitress did her best but was let down by the foreign owners who just did little to support her. When we arrived there were two other customers. We ordered a couple of cheese and mushroom burgers with fries but when they came after 30 minutes there was no cheese in them and the portion of fries was tiny and they were stone cold. I complained about this and they put a bit of cheese in the burger but left the fries as they were. I thought about complaining again but we just decided to eat and then leave. We went to pay and the foreign owner guy was really awkward and weird - even charged us for the cheeseburgers that had no cheese plus various extras that we did not order. The atmosphere just felt awkward - an incompetent owner bossing around a nice and helpful waitress who did her best under bad conditions. It’s rare to get bad food in Japan so really disappointing - the owner could benefit from 6 months working in a professional kitchen before trying to open his own place.

Our visit wasn't planned, but we were so lucky to stumble upon this place. As soon as we walked through the door, we were greeted by a friendly and welcoming member of staff who provided exceptional service in perfect English throughout our visit. Unsurprisingly, the ambience was also top-class, thanks to stylish decor, the comfy, high-quality furniture, and the excellent choice of background music. The food and drinks were all an easy 10/10 - the white sangria was fantastic, and the cheesecake in particular was possibly the best I've ever had. We thoroughly enjoyed our time here and would highly recommend it to anyone - we'll be back!

By far the best ambiance of any restaurant in town. Elegant but also comfortable. Great wines and coffees. An excellent cheese board and I recommend the Niçoise salad.

Met with the owner over furniture expo in Kanagawa and contacted about visiting her cafe during a girls weekend snowboarding trip. She was able to accommodate my celiac with gluten free options (requested in advance), was very responsive to our questions via the Facebook page and was great in helping us with furniture options. The food was great, the wine was delicious and the owner was delightful.
