Very beautiful and relaxing drive from Santiago to plaza alterra. Very professional and courteous service. Will definitely return again.

The food is delicious and prices fair.I do recommend the chicharon that was outstanding and the flan excellent. The owner cane to our table to introduce herself and to welcome us.She was very friendly although professional .We enjoyed a delicious meal in family.I will return for sure.

Mi esposo y yo fuimos a tomar una bebida y comer un postre para Día de Amistad o Amor. Y que tristesa! El ‘brownie a la moda’ costó 225 pesos cada uno por ese pedacito chiquito que sabía comprado! Y el helado sabía a medicina :/ My husband and I decided to come here for a drink and dessert for Valentines Day and were so disappointed. It being a nicer restaurant in town, we had fairly usual expectations. The plate for the tiny brownie (store bought) and small scoop of ice cream (tasted like medicine) was around $4.50. So sad. I recommend Fresco for dessert. Yummy, homemade (nice and warm, straight out the oven) and worth the price.

The place overall was good. Food was alright. They should put attention on bugs. Service was good and the food was ready quickly considering the amount of people that were in the restaurant. I would give them another chance.

The place has great pizza (especially the ribs pizza) fairly quick service and has an open atmosphere. They have a fire place oven for pizza and there chicken breast or salmon meals are also amazing. The only reason I would put it at 4 stars is because it can be somewhat noisy with traffic driving by with the open atmosphere

clean and accessible. Pizza al Alterra was original and the best pizza i have had in the DR to date.

Food and service were great. Very nice presentation and flavor. Only reason for not giving 5 star, noise from the traffic, large trucks and mountainous terrain. But we will certainly return for the great food.
