Excellent food (the quantity was sufficient, but didn't allow for¡overeating). Awesome view of the Jarabacoa Valley floor. Prices aren't expensive. They need to amplify their postage-stamp sized parking lot.

Unconditional recommendation! We found this place driving around in that area and nearly missed it because the entry is right on a fast and busy mountain road. We turned around and were not disappointed. We had ribs, pico Pollo and we had juices. Everything was just delicious! Beside that, you have to enjoy the awesome view on the valley! Seriously one of the most recognizable stops we had on our trip!

The view!!!! This place is breathtaking just by sitting there, but let the nice staff put some costillitas de cerdo and pinchos de pollo there... now you have a 5 stars review.

Top notch! It is a small place but well worth it. The view is breath taking and the beer way cold. They serve a guinea fowl that is to die for. La picadera is super delicious too. If you’re the area, do stop by. You’ll be glad you did!

Second year stopping at Don Felix while escaping the heat of summer in Jarabacoa for a few days. It's one of those places that is more than the sum of it's parts, and the parts are all good. Lovely motorcycle ride up from town, amazing view, very cool atmosphere, good food and friendly attentive service. A favorite place.

Our favorite bar near cabarete. Super nice bartender with a beautiful view. They have chairs for about 10 people looking out over the mountains and the town. Spend an afternoon drinking beer and enjoying the peace

Most visitors to DR understandably stick close the the resorts along the coast but if you're adventurous then rent a car (it'll be alright, I promise) and head to the interior of Jarabacoa. Milder climate, and forested, you forget you're in the Caribbean. And when you're there, find places like Don Felix. I ate with confidence; the food was freshly prepared and properly cooked. BBQ ribs were a decent, if unexpected, option but it's the view with some bottles of Presidente cerveza that make for a pleasant stop. And on your way back down the mountain, don't miss buying some Arepa (sold by weight i.e. 1/2 lb, etc.) a kind of cornbread, for your drive back. Just pull up to one of the numerous stands along the roadway, order-buy-and go.

Apart from the view, which is beautiful, the food was terrible, I've never eaten worse chicken, in fact I only tried it and I couldn't eat it, it was disgusting, the ribs were over-seasoned, you don't feel the meat and very tough, my girlfriend ate them, she spit out more on the plate than what she eat. I do not recommend to anyone!!!

Incredible little restaurant on the edge of the mountain with beautiful views, incredible service and delicious food. Would highly recommend!
