It is one of the best fine dining in Surabaya. The venue is the old French Consulate if I am not wrong. And it is also a heritage building. The parking is kinda small that you will need a driver or valet. The street is also one way. After renovation, the place is indeed alive again. It has more than steak and Japanese food. I remember my friend was there for Mexican food, but I have not tried or not sure about it. Each cuisine has different location in the place, and I have yet to try all of them. Regarding the cost, yes, it is a bit higher as you are paying for the place and everything else. The service is good, and the food is also good. Being in the place, the atmosphere is different. It is just uniquely unique. You also don't see many kids here running around or you don't see many people with sandals (I know it is culture here, but I still cannot get used to it and still think it is rude to show up in a place like this.) I would recommend try it and you will know it!

A posh restaurant in Surabaya. I can't exactly say it's fine dining, but the servers treated the patrons like it's fine dining. The building itself was a French consulate, thus the name of the restaurant. The atmosphere is elegant with plenty of instagrammable areas. I had the steak, though it didn't turn out the way I like it...not enough flavor. My friend loves her salmon salad, though. Presentation of food is excellent, as was the service.
