Just returned from our 3 days 2 nights stay at batu merah kabin. We finally decided to go although we have read the mixed reviews. Here's my opinion. The +s: - the cabin is very new, cozy, comfortable and toilets are spacious and clean. There's AC too. - there are a number of free activities provided such as cycling, stand-up paddle boat and canoeing. - other activites that you need to pay for are snorkeling, atv, horse riding. - the food at the restaurant Asha beach club is good. But the price is hotel standard. So it is expensive. Bringing food for home is ideal if you want to save up. -the water in the island is as seen on their IG, a very pretty turqoise and relatively clean in the lagoon area. - sandy beach at Asha beach club good for kids to play sand. What they can improve on.... Wah bener bener berbeda setelah renovasi ! staff are new and very helpful, makanannya super enak di Santara Resto (pulau seribu hidden Gem, try their bebek goreng ! its amazing !), the room is soooo homey and comfy. Definitely will recommend this destination for short getaway dari Jakarta.
