So the place itself is very nice. This café is in the heart of Zahlé, capital of the Bekaa, a beautiful little town. The café is decorated beautifuly, with taste and definitely humour. Mixing local landmarks, and lebanese clichés with local catch phrases. Unfortunately, all positive stops there. As soon as we sat down, they automatically brought us a small bottle of mineral water to each one of us. I just hate it when orders are imposed like that. I ordered an expresso.....it came filled to the rim with even some droppings on the side. The person serving us made it a point to note the generosity of the serving, not understanding that an expresso is not by definition a longo. My friend ordered a feta and pesto toasted kaaké, a local bread. The feta was melty as if it was mozarella. I asked for a confirmation that the cheese was indeed feta as it doesn't melt. The answer was that it was certainly feta and that it is melted because it was toasted. Making it clear that the person answering that doesn't understand what feta is, in addition of not getting what an expresso is. Side note, they serve narguileh even inside, just in case this bothers you. Conclusion: Go there for the ambiance. The place is very cute and the customers make the most of the charm for their friendly approach. Don't eat there.

Salon Zahle is a hidden gem nestled in the heart of Zahle a café that perfectly blends tradition with modern comfort. The outdoor seating is warm and inviting, offering the perfect atmosphere to connect with locals the Zahle way. Whether you’re catching up with friends or simply soaking in the city’s charm, it’s an ideal spot. The indoor area is equally lovely calm and cozy, perfect for working, reading, or enjoying your coffee in peace. I went for breakfast, and everything was on point from the classic Lebanese breakfast spread to the eggs and awarma. Every bite was flavorful and authentic. Don’t leave without trying the homemade desserts they pair beautifully with their coffee. I was especially impressed by the tea selection beautifully presented with detailed benefits for each type. It’s a thoughtful touch that shows how much care goes into the experience. Salon Zahle is a great stop any time of the day, whether you’re in the mood for a full meal, a coffee break, or just a peaceful moment. Highly recommended for anyone visiting Zahle!

I recently revisited this restaurant after some time, and I was genuinely impressed by how much it has improved. From the moment I walked in, the ambiance felt more welcoming and refined. The service was prompt and attentive, and the staff were so friendly. Everything I ordered was flavorful and beautifully prepared — it’s clear that a lot of care and thought has gone into the culinary experience. It’s always great to see a place evolve in such a positive way. I’ll definitely be coming back more often. Highly recommend giving it another try if you haven’t been in a while! Note: The Labne and Awarma Kaake is to die for!
