This was the WORST urgent care experience. I had an appointment and arrived about 10 minutes before the scheduled time. Checked in, no problem. My husband came in about 20 minutes after me (also with an appointment). Checked in, no problem. There were other people coming in as walk-ins. These people were called before patients with appointments after sitting about an hour past my appointment time, My husband got called in. He asked if I could go in with him and told the nursing assistant that my appointment was before his. She responded that I must have checked in after him. We were seated in an exam room where the NA took our vitals and other info. About 10-15 minutes later the assistant came back in and gave us our after visit summary along with the medications that had been prescribed. The assistant handed us each a summary after which I said we hadn’t seen the Nurse Practitioner yet. After waiting yet again in the room for the NP to come in, I noticed that the patient summary that she had given us were both mine. (None for my husband). I went out to the desk and told her about this mistake. After another 20 minutes, the NP came into the room and examined us. She said the exact same thing to both of us about our symptoms, even though I didn’t have an ear issue like my husband. We then waited another 15 minutes to get our visit summary’s. This was incompetence at its finest! I don’t understand how a person can prescribe medication without examining a patient. I won’t be using the LCMC on Lapalco Blvd. in Marrero anymore.

The staff here is very compassionate and caring. Dr. Jones has great bedside manner & the treatment she prescribed had me feeling better the next day! Thank you LCMC Urgent Care!

Quite possibly the worst urgent care I’ve ever visited. I was rushed to give my symptoms, only for them to overlooked and ignored because I didn’t have Covid or the flu and they wouldn’t test for anything else. I was diagnosed as having thrush but the high fevers, chills, migraines and body pains were brushed to the side and literally shrugged off. So the help I came to get I never received, even when I asked for more information and “I don’t know” is supposedly sufficient. Very disappointing visit

I was a walk in here and only had to wait about 15 or so mins even though it seemed to be a busy day for them. I really appreciated that. The staff is super kind and concerned about your wellbeing which meant even more to me. I always recommend this place to anyone in need of quick and concise help.

Was my very first time at an urgent care facility. No complaints.Staff was pleasant considering they were short handed.

Wonderful staff! I had to go to Urgent Care on a Saturday. The receptionist was genuinely concerned about my health and quickly checked me in. The nurse that checked my vitals was also professional and gentle as she tested me for both Covid and the flu. I tested positive for the flu. I also saw Nadinna A Joseph, NP, and she was professional and kind. She went over the introductions for my after care and prescribed medication to help with my symptoms. This was my 3rd visit to LCMC Marrero location. Although, this location is further away from my home, I prefer this location because the entire staff is professional and caring. I would definitely recommend LCMC Marrero Urgent Care to anyone in need of none life threatening immediate medical attention. -M. Scott

The staff and attending Physician were courteous, the only problem my appointment was for 11:40, the computer advises the patient to check in for 11:25 and I did; I wasn't seen until 12:30. “Patients times should be respected or someone should say I’m sorry the Doctor will be with them shortly.” Communicate.

Staff was polite; however, the building appeared dirty, I was asked to provide my 10 year old son's weight, height & whether or not he usually has a normal blood pressure instead of actually putting him on a scale to get accurate numbers. The nurse practitioner that treated my son was walking on the backs of her tennis shoes rather than putting them on properly. My kids (10 & 14) asked me if she just woke up. I was charged an Urgent Care co-pay rather than an office visit co-pay that i am charged when visiting an Ochsner Urgent Care facility. I will not be back to this facility.

Had appointment, was called to the back on time. MA was very professional and friendly. Dr. Hector Cabrera is very knowledgeable, friendly, courteous answered all my questions.

I went to another system won't mention the name and the ER especially the doctor was more worried about if i was on drugs rather than my treatment process. So worried that she decided to test me after I was administered Morphine for pain and put me positive for opioids. Total lack of respect. Went to this Ochsner facility and the NP you know who your are, found out what was wrong immediately. IBS with constipation. Long story short, beside manner is really important and also all black males in medical distress are not drug abusers.

My appointment was scheduled for 1:40. I arrived at 1:20 as I am a new patient. I was informed that the caregiver would be taking lunch at 1:35. I ended up waiting until 3:00 to see a nurse practitioner. Once I did see them the care was good.

There should be more than one doctor working in an urgent care. I took my toddler there to be seen and they don’t take patients based on priority. We was there from 11:36 a.m until almost 2 p.m. I’m a nursing student so I know how things are supposed to go. The doctor did fine, but lcmc is under staffed.

I had an injured ankle & needed an x-ray to see if it was broken or fractured. I waited about an hour before they took us to the back, but the whole staff was very efficient & very friendly. Got my results in just a few minutes. They were great!

Every time I come to this Urgent care they see me in a timely fashion. The doctors and nurses take their time to understand what going on with me. I love going here.

Dr explain to me what’s going on and give me antibiotics to take care of my respiratory infection I have for the first time. I was very comfortable.If needed I will go back to that location. Everyone was friendly and professional!

Didn’t get there until after at 4:30 didn’t take long for me to get back into the waiting room. I mean into the patient’s room and then the nurse practitioner was awesome. The girl that did my blood pressure was awesome. I am so glad to find one closer to my house instead of having to go all the way to Gretna. This will be my new an urgent care. The nurse practitioner listen to everything I had to say, then explain to me what he was going to do because I ended up with some bronchitis. Definitely very happy.

My first time going to Urgent Care I had a great experience you ck in on kiosk which was easy I didn’t have to wait 1 1/2 - 2hrs before my name was called didn’t get my nurse name but she was real nice and friendly my NP Nadinna Joseph was Awesome also she was so intelligent and patient with me and very concerned about what was going on hopefully I don’t have to go back to the Dr anytime soon but if I do I will go to Urgent Care in Marrero

I have visited this site twice and each time I have gone there was a pleasant experience. The staff is very attentive and polite. When your not feeling your best that means a lot. Dr. C. Mary was the attending physician and I am happy that I had the opportunity to meet him, he has a wonderful bedside manner. Caring and concerned.

Yesterday's visit was good and bad. The wait time was ridiculous. I got there at 9:30, And we didn't get seen not until like 11:20/11:25.. I thought urgent care was supposed to be quick, like we get you in and out. That was the bad part. On the other hand, the staff was amazing. Everyone was nice and listen to what we had to say. No one over talked us. They were curious, and they got everything resolved. I mentioned to them what I thought the problem could be and they took it into consideration. That was good part. The staff was very nice.. THEY just have to work on timing. But my overall visit was good. Despite the long wait time.

I was very pleased and very happy with the levels of Support and Progress and the Results of Professional. of The Nurses and the NP Care of my Medical Situation, I will return in the Future for any future medical problems. the Turn around time was very Short and Good. Although I was expecting to walk in and be there less then an hour listening to my sister lol. It was more like two hours, but I was very pleased about the concern and attention the doctor and nurses showed. I would recommend this location to family and friends.

This staff was AMAZING! This was my first visit to this location, I usually go to the Lakeview location. My daughter called me at work crying in pain from an earache. This location closed at 8, I called to see if they were still taking patients at 7:15 and rushed over! I did call the Gretna location, who quickly told me they were NOT taking patients at 7:15. The staff did not make me feel rushed and took very good care of my daughter. I appreciated the staff staying late to accommodate us so I brought some breakfast the next day as a thank you!

My appointment was for 4:40 pm. I arrived at 3:50 pm. I checked in and sat down. At 5:45 pm I was still in the waiting room. I checked with the receptionist, and they had forgotten I was there. I finally got called to the back after 6 pm. Where I waited for another 30 minutes before being seen. Just a long drawn out waste of time.

The nurse practitioner and doctor that I was seen by were very nice and caring. They did not make me feel like I was a burden and listened to all of my concerns. They are very much appreciated!!
