Crab stuffed beignets awesome. But my food didn't have enough flavor for my liking. Waiter Josh was great at recommending dishes we should try.He also recommended we should get the large crash and burn(a drink that is very strong but good) if you are not driving try it. I will give them a five star because service was great.

Well, for a first time I’m rather disappointed. To start our party of two was quoted a 20-25 minutes wait (which was fine) we provided a name and phone number. Neither was used though we sat outside on an unshaded bench provided by the restaurant out front and proceeded to wait 35 before coming back inside to wait because it began to get too warm out. We watched as around 3 larger parties just walking in we’re sat back to back and when they finally called us up all that was said was “we thought you guys weren’t coming, so you want to just sit in the bar before the high tops are taken?” I received NO message that a table was ready or that our wait was up. I was looking forward to seeing the dining hall but it didn’t seem to be an option anymore. We were greeted shortly after sitting by Jennifer D (learned her name from receipt not her) My friend ordered an Arnold Palmer which was said to be good and I ordered a cappuccino. If you know what to expect from a capp don’t order it looking for that here however it did come out with foam. Ordered the Shrimp and crab Ocados but wasn’t impressed for the price. I did expect a kick but there really wasn’t any heat and I personally feel the description in the menu is misleading. My friend ordered a California omelet. The server seemed excited about his choice saying it was yummy and I order the Crabcake P Benedict which she did not seem very excited about at all. Made me feel I should order something else after she left. My friend seemed pretty content with their order but found a chunk of meat in the omelet about half way through. My Poached eggs were over cooked and the creole spicy sauce was not spicy at all. It was more like a mild picante sauce. Their biscuit was good and I enjoyed the taste of the crab cake but all together the taste was bland which I was not expecting. After we finished eating we waited another 30 minutes for Jennifer to return to the table, we were ready for the check but she definitely still took her time with the process. Jennifer was sweet but overall I can’t imagine coming back for anything in particular. *Edit* Just to add. They reached out here but I haven’t received a response from the email they requested.

The food was good. Crayfish bread is Delicious!!! The staff were friendly and helpful, except for our waitress. Asked for a tea refill and she forgot about us. Had to ask someone else. My friend ordered soup with an entre and never received it yet she tried to charge him. Etc. Etc.

12-18-21 Came in at aplroximately 3 o'clock and didn't leave until 5 (it took that long to get served). I really dislike having to post a bad review, but the waitress that served us had no interest on checking-in to see how things were going/if we wanted to order other items/to refill drinks. Service started poorly with the hostess who chose not to seat us in a more quiet area of the establishment. My dinner guest and I were only 2 people, and there were several loud gathering at the tables around us, but there were quiet nooks where we could have been placed. (Others were seated there.) I was just told large gatherings were happening all day long and was dismissed. Service here is just not hospitable. If the waitresses are that uninterested to serve customers, maybe there needs to be a training seminar on service. I ordered a salad...and received a salad that was not my order. The waitress responded by saying, "You don't eat chicken?" She did tell me another could have been prepared, but given the time, I told her to forget it. We were already there for an hour and 20 minutes waiting on the food order initially placed. Enjoy. I won't be back.

The Clearview location is much better than the Kenner location. Our service was very good. The food was hot and delicious. We shared the crab beignets. I had the broccoli bites and chicken rene. The sauce on the chicken rene was delicious! It has mushrooms and crawfish. The 2 chicken pieces were a good size and a bit spicy but overall it was a delicious dish. The broccoli bites were disappointing. I thought it would be a whole floret fried with cheese & bacon. It was bits of broc with cheese in small balls. There was extra shredded cheese and bacon surrounding the balls in the bowl. They were good, but not enough broccoli flavor for me. We returned a few days later...I had the blackened chicken with cornbread dressing and crawfish tasso cream sauce. It was very delicious and a bit spicy. The portions are almost always very good. This is a very nice restaurant where you can dress up or go casual (no tank tops). Relaxed atmosphere but the music could be better. During the week, they have Happy Hour specials on appetizers. Half off of crab beignets, spinach dip, smoked tuna dip and the broccoli balls.

April 17th, 2023 First off, I wanna say that any problems had with service were not the fault of my server. David took extremely good care of us and made sure we were taken care of the entire night. I had gotten there around 5:10 and my girlfriend didn't get her food until around 6:10. It took a while to get the food. The food itself was delicious. The items we had ordered are Shrimp & tasso pasta, which my girlfriend really liked An order of jazzy tenders for our appetizer, which were so tasty, the seasoning was perfect. We had a problem with our order, so they brought out an order of corn crab bisque, which me and the girlfriend destroyed. The problem with the service was that my order wasn't put back until about 15 minutes of us waiting. And that the order put back wasn't right. A mix-up of chicken orders. But our server david made sure to take care of any problems we had. If you're okay with the wait and want some good creole food. This is the place to go. Thanks david for the amazing service

It never Fails on high expectations. What an amazing place to experience Louisiana Cuisine at its finest. I started with crab claws in a buttery cream sauce with crab 🦀 stuffed beignets, then a nice side salad 🥗 and my main corse Ribeye with Grilled jumbo shrimp 🍤 and Broccoli. Oh yes you already know it was absolutely delicious 😋. You must ask for Darlene as your server she is absolutely amazing.

I come here often but most times the servers are to overloaded to be attentive to your table. But the food is good and always consistent so i take the bad service to get a good meal. Today I made the mistake of letting the host talk me into sitting in the bar area to partake in happy hour. I wasnt even properly greeted the bartender just walked up and said “has anyone been here yet?” then continued to take our drink orders. Would it kill her to at least smile?? But anyways I ordered a few drinks, appetizers, and dessert then before I could order another drink she sat the check on the table and walked off. Thank god I had cash because she never came back to the table. Because she didn’t come back I wasnt able to get change to tip her properly. Which is a big deal for me because I do not like to under tip. But whatever food was good as always.

Vibe was alright. Music was straight pop. Bartender got me what I needed but definitely disappeared occasionally. Couldn’t even get any to go boxes or cups. And seems like replies on Google reviews are generic and all the same. Lame.

Excellent service from Savanah ! She answered all our questions and provided excellent recommendations. I ordered a half catfish poboy and cup of gumbo. The catfish was awesome, as was the Gumbo. My wife ordered the half shrimp poboy and the corn and crab bisque. It tasted great but was a little on the salty side.

My food was good, which was the mac n chz, red beans and rice. My friend had chicken wings that are posted in the pictures. We thought they were going to fly away with all the feathers that were on the wings. This makes me always realize, these restaurants don't clean most of their meat. They just pull it out of the package, into the flour and Umbro the grease. Yuck 🤮. Also Copelands doesn't bring biscuits and honey to the table anymore, at least not at this one. We asked David for biscuits and he brought only one. Lol. There were 5 of us at the table, oh , and no honey

My family was in ICU. I wanted something tasty for lunch. I was so happy to dine here because the establishment in Lake Charles, La closed down. The location was located near a very busy mall. The entrees were perfect. The dessert popped into my mouth with such a pleasant after taste. Our server was one of the finest, upbeat. The chef’s skills were pretty good. I encourage you to look at my photos.

It's always a nice experience at Copeland's of New Orleans in Jefferson/Harahan. The food and drinks are great and the service is always good. My favorite dish from here besides the crawfish bread is the Blackened Trio, which is a mix of blackened chicken, blackened catfish, and blackened shrimp served over angel hair pasta and topped with lemon bordelaise sauce, I definitely recommend it to anyone.

In receiving over cooked biscuits and being seated in one section only, this is not the same place. The jazzy wings were delicious. Manager never did contact me even though I sent him an email.

My experience dining here: Some of the food ordered were unavailable. Our food came out warm close to cold. It tasted eh. App never came out so waitress took it off the bill. 2 out of 3 ppl in my party told me they experienced stomach aches later that night. I usually pack my left overs home but didn’t care to do so this time. Spent roughly $30 per person here.

My family went there during our visit from San Antonio. The food options were delicious. The made my tarter sauce in house. Debra was a great and accommodating server.

I have no idea why someone would eat here. The worst catfish I've ever had that didn't match the menu description at all. Grilled cheese was hard as a rock and didn't even come with a soup. Completely inedible. The prices are unreal. Emailed GM and they insist on calling me FYI. I'm at work and don't have time for this. Not only is the food bad the communication is horrible.

Local chain restaurant serving a blend of cajun, creole, and Southern coast foods. It's hard to go wrong with any item on their menu. About my particular dining experience, I was with a large group (12+), so my experience may not be 100% representative of a normal dining experience. Service took extraordinarily long. Just the ordering process alone was drawn out. When my food, and others at my table arrived, it was over about a 10-12 minute spread. My dish, which had pasta, was suffering from being dried out by want I am assuming is a lot of time under a heat lamp. This was my first time at this location and my first time back to Copeland's in over 8 years. They previously had locations in Mississippi. The food is good, but I believe based off of this experience, it is on the high end of the pricing spectrum for what you get.

Appetizers were good, the steak came out very nice and the gumbo was a nice color and flavor. Server was very nice she kept up with all our needs I will most definitely go back for the great service!! As well as the good flavored food

First the food, the chicken parmesan was awesome the portion was good and it was filling. The corn and crab bisque was very appetizing. Second the staff was good did not have to ask for much. But in my opinion if you go there in flip flops you will get treated different than someone dressed up. Third the atmosphere The INSIDE of the restaurant was great but if you sit near the to go door make sure someone doesn't keep both doors open. The outside of the restaurant on the TO-GO order side smelled so bad from all the trash piled up in the dumpster and all the trash scattered all over the parking lot. They want to be high class. Maybe start cleaning the outside of the restaurant as well as you do the inside.

Got to go food. Laughable amount of spinach dip... not even 1/4 cup. Crab cakes had so many shells it was not edible. 0 Alfredo sauce and 4 of the tiniest shrimp I've ever seen. Will not be returning. Very disappointed.

Today's service was beyond disappointing. We waited over an hour for our food to arrive. We were constantly informed it was a backup. Order bottomless mimosas, but the glass was only refilled 3x. The waiter did his best, but he was so busy running tables. Another waitress spilled a drink and I looked at the ice on the ground the entire time we dined. The seafood sampler was trash. The only thing worth eating were the 8 shrimp. The catfished was overcooked, the onion rings were too small. Just an overall bad dining experience.

Good food, large portions. Amazing biscuits. Kind of an Applebee's or TGIF kinda vibe. Not as much seafood on the menu as you'd expect from new Orleans. It is always way too cold inside. The crawfish etouffee is pretty good. It comes with an amazing biscuit. The bananas foster is also good, and really a bit too large.

Definitely a cool go to spot... but don't expect no fine dining experience. It's just a cool place to eat and you can try some nice overpriced food. The portions are kinda kiddie and the grease is usually overwhelming. Don't get discouraged though because it's still pretty decent! I literally have to talk out both sides of my mouth with this place. I wouldn't put it on a never visit list but just go with lower expectations and you will enjoy it honestly.

The bayou broccoli was delicious. Great deals at Happy Hour. My shrimp etouffee had too much of a certain spice in it, perhaps file. My husband's penthouse salad was very good.

The hostess was not the friendliest; however, our waitress was great. There was an issue with the order and it was taken care of. The food was great. I could have easily rated this a 5 if it was not for the hostess's attitude and negative body language to all guests entering. It was apparent she did not want to be there.
