The cleaning staff failed. They used the same sheets and blankets to make the bed for the second nights stay. Makes me wonder if they did that when guest check out. Very disappointed in that.. Staff at front desk was very friendly and helpful. Recommended the river walk. That was a beautiful walk and nice to sit on the steps by the river.

When we check into our room Teyana (sorry for misspelling) was absolutely amazing. The rooms had a wet smell to them as soon as you open the door. Like mildew or something but other than that they were very clean. (Teyana did say that a update was on the way.) And the night audit lady on July24/25 was amazing too!!

Room seems well equipped however there is no microwave in the room. There is one microwave in the hallway on the floor near the elevator and ice machine. I find that to be rather ridiculous. Seriously how much would it cost Marriott to buy small microwaves at wholesale prices? Maybe $10? I guess the guests are not worth it.

1 week ago we were In town for travel ball tournament. Reserved 2 rooms only 1 room was ready when we checked in at 5:00p.m. 2hours after the listed check in time. The Toilet was stopped up and full of toilet paper when we checked in. I was over charged for our stay and they charged the card I held the reservation with instead of the card I gave them at check in to pay for our stay. I was told by management I would be credited and a week later I've called and emailed several times and still nothing. Promises another manager will call me and still nothing

Heads up, lobby completely under renovation and pool and fitness center closed. Water was shut off one day I was there but I already had the reservation. Really wish Marriott would provide warning when reserving a hotel that amenities are completely missing and lacking. Would have given one star but my room on the top floor must have just been remodeled and was quite nice. Recommend calling before you book to see where they are at on the construction work.

We stayed one night. The hotel seems it’s going through a mayor renovation. Rooms were clean and nice but got hot during the night. Service was ok. Also, breakfast is NOT included. It will depend on your reservation and number of guest you add to it. It’s not buffet style, rather you have to order it and it’s not very good. The room had a strong cigar odor and my toddler was coughing all night. I think for whet we payed, you can find a better hotel around the same area. Staff is not friendly.

I stayed at this hotel for two nights March 3-5 as a part of a hotel wedding block. The employees I interacted with were incredibly friendly, but this hotel is undergoing renovations so extensive that we did not have access to the pool, the on-site exercise room, any of the lounge areas, bistro, a working room phone, or more than one elevator to service the whole building. Additionally, while we were told that construction would not occur before 10am on Saturdays, the very loud work began at 8:15am on Saturday morning. I CANNOT believe they are still charging such high hotel room costs for the state of the hotel currently. Neither the bride for the wedding party I stayed with nor I, as the person who reserved my room, were ever notified beforehand of the construction, and when I inquired with the front desk about some sort of discount for a 215+ dollar a night hotel stay, I was told that the staff were given express instructions not to give any discounts, suggesting to me that management is aware of the terrible state of the hotel and the extent of the bait-and-switch they've created compared to what is actually offered for the price. This seems pretty unconscionable and shady to me. Again, staff on site were as helpful as they could be under the circumstances, but I am beyond disappointed at the way this hotel has decided to do business. Multiple attempts to call the front desk today to speak to a supervisor to discuss this issue have yielded little success (person was not yet in when I called after 9am, 3 calls midday triggered automatic messages that there was no one available to accept the call, and 3 more calls shortly thereafter went unanswered...) Edit: I am changing my 2 star review to 1. I finally got in touch with management who suggested that there is some small print disclaimer on the hotel website about the construction, and therefore the onus is solely on the customer, despite never verbally mentioning the construction during sales calls to set up the wedding hotel block. Unscrupulous

Good Marriott service, comfortable beds, staff was always helpful and the location is great! You can get anywhere in New Orleans in about 15 minutes.

Very nice hotel. Clean rooms& comfortable beds! Check-In was super easy with the APP. I had a mobile key so I never had to worry about misplacing my key card. Nice location & the food in the on site restaurant was delicious.

If you need reliable wifi, don't stay here. Traveling for work and literally sitting the lobby in my pjs because the wifi won't connect at all in the rooms. Started on the second floor, was moved to the first floor, no difference. But was still glad to have been moved because the first room had an overflowing trashcan. Aside from that, the stay was okay and on par with other Courtyard locations.

Despite the fact that this hotel is undoubtedly under renovation, the rooms are spotless and the service is excellent. As soon as we arrived, Lindsay at the front desk instantly made us feel at home and allayed any worries we had. The encounter was pleasant.

This hotel made our stay RIDICULOUSLY difficult. Broken promise after broken promise. Got locked out of our room and were denied access until the manager walked away and one of the other employees generously activated our card. We are a traveling group and we were promised free tide pods, so we could do laundry. Then they said it was 2 for $1 (fine, not an issue), but refused to take $1 in cash when my card wasn’t working. On top of that, it’s in a terrible location surrounded by highways. You can only access food and shopping by car, which we do not have. Would definitely not recommend. The only employee with any sense of customer service, was the younger gentleman that helped us get back into our room, cuz he recognized us and knew it wasn’t a safety issue. He should get a raise for exemplary customer service.

They get 3 stars because they are remodeling. My room was clean and new. They have several posts throughout the hotel apologizing for on going construction but the employees don’t carry that same sentiment. The hotel breakfast buffet is not included and I understand that’s an option… what lost me at this location was I COULD NOT GET A CUP OF COFFEE without buying a full breakfast. A cup of coffee… a cup of coffee, gotta go buy a ticket to go through the buffet to get A CUP OF COFFEE. I won’t be back no matter how nice the upgrades are.

This hotel is definitely under construction BUT the rooms are immaculate and the customer service is top notched! Lindsay at the front desk immediately made us feel welcomed and put us at ease with any concerns we had. The experience was nice.

Love this hotel. Love the fact that when I walked into my room it smelled so fresh and clean. Bed was just perfect. The receptionist ( didn't catch her name ) was an absolute delight and very knowledgeable to all questions I had. This was maybe my 3rd stay and every receptionist I've encountered was exceptionally nice. Thank you

Super busy hotel. Had to wait to get our rooms, we arrived at 5pm. Not a big deal. Went and got dinner and rooms were ready when we got back about 3hrs later. Desk lady was super friendly. Rooms are clean and comfortable. Water pressure in the shower is lacking. They are working on the pool so thats a bummer. over all 4out of 5

Under renovation. Only one elevator working. Dirty and old carpets and furnishings. Hallways and rooms strongly smelled of marijuana. Breakfast area dusty and under construction. Didn't feel safe with all of the doorways propped open and workers coming and going. Would not stay here at all until renovations finished. Only positive thing was the friendly front desk desk.

Our initial room’s bathroom was not clean, so our room had to be changed after checkin. Our new room’s bathroom was also not very clean but not as dirty as the previous room. Sheets had a few stains on them but we did not notice till late in the night so just went to sleep. The bathtub also didn’t drain well so we took very short, quick showers to avoid standing in a pool of water. Also, the vent in the bathroom which is connected to the light switch was extremely loud so kept the light off to prevent the sound. The next morning we were woken up at 8 AM with very loud construction. When we booked this hotel a few weeks ago, there was no mention on the app about this renovation taking place.

Our rooms were very stuffy. The air didn't work very well. It made the carpet in the room feel very gross. The breakfast wasn't very good. The few staff members I encountered were nice.

This hotel is perfectly serviceable. It is a little dated but nice, and the rooms are well cleaned. The bistro in the lobby has good service and is open at the right times. I got to the hotel quite early and they still managed to check me in and get me to my room, allowing me to get some much needed rest!

Our stay was less than 24 hours while waiting for an early morning flight. Room was clean, not brand new. Typically comfortable beds, A/C. Refrigerator worked nicely. Free parking on site. No shuttle to airport. The bistro was large and seemed to be popular with guests.
