Stepped in with about an hour left to eat. Under staffed but still had nice service. The waitress was nice. The food was OK. Over all filling, just needed a bit more seasoning.

On Thanksgiving day I had planned to have a dinner with my mother and have her meet my girlfriend for the first time. We checked the online wait list, which was 40 minutes, and added our name for a table of 3 at around 1:30pm. We arrived at the restaurant at 2:10pm and proceeded to check in and was told we were next to be seated. After 30 minutes and still no table, my girlfriend approached the manager and explained the situation and was told again we were next. It is 2:40pm at this time. We then receive a text saying our table was ready only to be told we weren't even on the list and we will be next. At 3:10pm after being in the restaurant for over an hour, I approached the manager. Again we weren't on the list. The wait at this time was 20 minutes. We were by the host stand the whole time. This was the worst case of discrimination I have ever been a part of ever. The manager kept whispering and laughing in the employees ear like it was a joke. So we finally left after 2 hours. The manager was a young brown haired girl in her 20's and around 5'5" tall. I've been a Cracker Barrel patron for years and years. Never again. If you are considering stopping at the one off Blakenbaker Ln. please go to another one.

Just a great Saturday breakfast! Our server Darlene was so awesome. We tried the new dishes...the breakfast bowl and the eggs Benedict. Both spectacular. And, enough to take home for later.

The food service was extremely slow… Wait staff was wonderful and apologetic. I ordered the corn on the cob and it must've been in the steamer for several days it was literally mush when it came out. Too much salt… Not sure how they stay in business.

I recently had the pleasure of placing a catering order with Cracker Barrel, and I must say, it was an outstanding experience. Michelle, who handled my order, was not only incredibly professional but also exceptionally accommodating. She made the entire process seamless and easy, ensuring that every detail was taken care of. The pickup was a breeze, and the food was as delicious as always. Kudos to Michelle and the entire Cracker Barrel team for delivering exceptional service!

Ate here for dinner. It was nothing spectacular. My fried shrimp was good, the country fried steak was good as well. Okra was little bland & when I got the fried shrimp, it said served with hushpuppies but when I got my plate, I had 1. I had to ask my server for more since it said hushpuppies, not a hushpuppy. Our server, Chris, was so nice & upbeat! Deserve a promotion for sure!

I was craving pot roast, and, after searching Google online for pot roast in Louisville, KY, Cracker Barrel was the only place I could find it - it's offered there only on Sundays. After waiting four days for Sunday to arrive, I made it to Cracker Barrel and, not only was that wait and the 30-minute wait once I arrived worth it, I was completely satisfied with the taste of the pot roast! I was tempted to order another one because it was so delicious! Also, the sweet tea was brewed and sweetened to my preference. Service is the only reason my rating is not five stars, but I tipped well anyway out of appreciation for what I'm certain is a trying task serving hungry people for hours on end. Dinner itself surpassed my expectations.

Today was BYOB or a.k.a build your own breakfast. It has probably been 40 years since my first visit to Cracker Barrel and I still enjoy the country store charm. They have always produced quality meals and today was no different. No fire in the fireplace, but it was in the 80's. Guess I have to go back another day. Keep the coffee on for me.

We took our son here to eat while we were in town visiting , and it was by far the best Cracker Barrel that we have ever eaten at! We had the grilled chicken tenders, which were fantastic! The mashed potatoes were so creamy, and the brown gravy on top was delicious! The biscuits were so light, fluffy, and delicious! Outstanding restaurant!!

My curbside pickup time was 1:44 PM, I entered my arrival & parking spot at 1:40, I was still waiting at 2:10 so I called the store, the employee told me my food was ready & they would bring it right out. I waited another 15 minutes and had to call the store again. The employee said they would bring it out, this time they brought my food out. I drive 2 minutes to my workplace where I set in my car and eat (I get a 1 hour lunch break). The food is cold! I believe it set for 45 minutes or better before it was brought out. To top things off, I didn't get the $4 dessert I paid for. The employee brought out 2 orders at the same time, I believe she gave the other customer my dessert. The other customer waited longer than I did for their food. I even gave a generous tip as I always do! I fed most of the food to my 5 dogs when I got home. VERY DISAPPOINTED!

Went there on a Sunday at lunch time. They were extremely busy but we were still seated fairly quickly. Staff is very friendly and our waitress was very attentive. My only critique would be that the food seemed to be just a little more bland that what I remember from other visits. Otherwise a great place.

This is the worst Cracker Barrel I have ever been to. We waited over thirty minutes to be seated (which is typical of a Sunday) and when we get seated the table was dirty and food and silverware were all over the floor beneath the table. Our waitress, Diana I think (it definitely started with a D), did not come to our table. After 20+ minutes, I had to flag down another waiter just to get our drinks ordered. After 35 minutes, our waitress (who at this point had visited every other table around us multiple times finally came over to get our food order. She would not visit our table again for another 25 minutes. I spoke with the manager to tell him of the poor service we had been receiving and asked if we could get a different waiter but he basically shrugged it off. At now over an hour and 15 minutes my family and I decided to leave as we had felt fed up at this point with the lack of service and attention we were receiving. We spoke to the manager again on our way out and he shrugged off once again. No apology or action taken to make our experience even slightly better on his part. WE NEVER RECEIVED OUR ORDER!!!! Needless to say we will NEVER eat here again and will advise everyone we know to do the same. You would think in a job where you work for tips, you would put more effort into servicing your customers. We also believe that racism had played a part in our experience as well because the waitress served all of the white families around us with no problem and ignored ours. This isn’t our first experience with the same waitress.

Cracker Barrel was the most convenient place to meet relatives traveling through our state in an RV. I had not intended to visit a CB so soon after the last experience I had at a CB. Our order was either lost or partially given to another table. I inquired after waiting 50 minutes. Then while we waited another 15-20 minutes biscuits were brought to the table (on the house). In the end the food was okay/good, and the manager gave us two meals on the house.

Cracker barrel is my all time favorite all my life and I am 33. We ordered doordash, once for breakfast and again for a late lunch. Breakfast could have been warmer but I know with doordash its kind of a hit or miss. My issue in which led to this long review was my late lunch. The turnips had no seasoning and the meat tasted burnt. My okra was some done some not done. The chicken on the Sunday meal was not cooked all the way and the breading used was a soggy mess. And my cornbread muffins were hard as a rock!

In today's world where portion sizes keep getting smaller, and prices keep going up, Cracker Barrel is still one of the absolute best bang for your buck restaurants. The service is almost always top notch! Get a dish like the Chicken and Dumplings, and it'll feed about any hungry man twice! Grab a family meal to go and feed a family of 5 bears and have leftovers to spare for under $50(unheard of outside of fast food chains). Keep up the awesome job! Louisvile loves you, and America is counting on you!

It was a quiet Friday and our server was real nice and on it. But let's talk food. Meat loaf is not flavorful and warm. Mashed potatoes were warm. Salad was ok. I don't know what happened. But last trip there for a while. Again server was great. Food was nasty.

It was busy due to a concert down the street but everyone was nice and apologized about the wait. Menu seems to have shrunk a lot. Didn't see the normal breakfast menu and the dinner menu had fewer options. What I ordered was good though. Not a fan of them selling beer/wine now with dinner. Seems odd and unnecessary and ruins that country down home feel in my opinion. The employees working the floor in the store section made sure to let us know about the sales they had going and what was included and not which was very helpful. The only small suggestion I would have is to move the hostess stand closer to the door entrance door, have a better path or maybe someone with a portable list. With all the people shopping while waiting for a table and the store full of merchandise it makes it difficult to actually get to the back without bumping into people and trying not to knock over displays or merchandise.

We came in a little later than dinner time, we were seated fairly quickly. The food was what you come to expect of Cracker Barrel. We were happy with our experience except the service. Our waitress was not very attentive or very friendly despite the restaurant being only fairly busy while we were there. We were not given biscuits or corn bread originally so we had to ask. She did not really check on us or fill our drinks. She only came to check on us when she dropped off the check. Cracker barrel, to me, is supposed to remind you of that homey feel but this was more like an estranged aunt who wanted nothing to do with her nieces/nephews.

This past Sunday I ordered on line the meatloaf with two sides of corn and green beans. I placed my order at 5:20 pm. I picked it up at 5:40 pm as stated on my receipt. Usually I check my food but this time I did not b/c in the past the food has always been very warm even after I got home. Let me say Cracker Barrel’s meatloaf is my all time favorite. Once I got home i took the food out of the bag. The plate was not warm at all. I continued to get ready to eat my dinner. I had to microwave the food to warm it up. I took a bite of the meatloaf and it did not have the great taste as I’m use to. I cut into the meatloaf and to my surprise I saw a lot of red. I then continued cutting and more red appeared. The meat was raw. I called the store and let them know. The person who took my call asked if I wanted to speak to the manager. I said no just advise him of the food and tell the cook to make sure all food is prepared the correct way. The more I thought about it I began to get upset. I called the store back and gave the girl my name, phone number and order number. She said she would ask the manager to call me. Today is Tuesday and I have yet heard back from anyone. I did take a picture of the meat. I will never go back to this Cracker Barrel located in Jefferson town, KY off of Blankenbaker Ln.

Order over phone and pickup is very convenient for lunch time. I think I couldn’t put my gift card in online so I had to call. Delicious food. Good portions. Only got takeout, no idea about service.

The waitress was friendly and very helpful. The breakfast was perfectly prepared and the coffee was good for a chain restaurant. Fast service too although I didn't feel rushed to finish. I would eat breakfast there again. Having said that, 15 bucks for breakfast seems a little steep but it was good.

Dining room was extremely cold. Complained to Eugene and he said the cold air was coming from retail. He didn’t give a hoot that everyone was freezing. This Cracker Barrel is off our eating list. Waitress was very good. She complained to Eugene and he still did nothing. Good turned cold in seconds. Thanks Eugene.

I have tbh I did not realize they closed at 9pm or I probably would not have eaten here. I walked in at 8:40 - the hostess was nice and didn’t indicate they were about to close. This was walking distance from hotel - and after 12 hours I didn’t want to drive any further. I was too late for the roast beef dinner which was fine. I then ordered a Chardonnay which they were also out of. So instead of the server letting me know; she sent someone else out with a sangria - I was confused - he was confused - then he let me know they were out of Chardonnay so I accepted the sangria! It was good! Ordered my food - my server brought it out - I asked for a napkin as I didn’t have any - and she brought me 15! Thankfully another server noticed that my food was missing the special sauce and onions and I asked her - wasn’t I supposed to get bread? I mean Cracker Barrel biscuits right? She brought me what was missing from my dinner. She was super nice! I walked out of there at 9:40. The food was really good - my server not so much. I feel like if I’d been a party of 4 my server would have been more attentive and at least tried. I realize a party of 1 only equates to about a 4$ tip and at closing time it just might not have been worth it to her.

My first visit in a couple of years. Several menu changes but they still have same old favorites. I found it to be the same quality as before no surprises. If you liked them before you will still like them.

Worst experience ever! Made arrangements online that only allow 6 at a time. When we got there, I kindly let them know there was 10. We were told 25 minutes. Well 45 minutes went by and we watched them sit people that came after us for another 25 minutes. I spoke to manager again and said that he just can't get tables together. We have been there now for 1 hour and 25 minutes and when we approached him again he says he is trying to still find a tables. We have a. Disabled person and 2 babies with is and he was still arguing with us. So we asked for his upper management phone number and he got a attitude and gave us their store number. Incredibly unprofessional.

Food was EXCELLENT. Service was bad. There were 10 dirty tables when we got there with minimal cleaning when we left. Our server brought our food with no utensils. We had to ask. After delivering our food, she never checked on us to see how things were/if we needed anything. I had to ask for the bill after waiting a bit.

Never disappointed! Our server, Taylor, was the best!! She was very intuitive into our needs and particular situation with a big crowd. She was fast, efficient, and on top of it. The food was delicious, the coffee strong, the atmosphere delightful.

The woman that took my order over the phone was super nice. I go into the store and the woman who rung me out was not very friendly whatsoever. I even tipped and she didn’t seem appreciative. Oh well. I got home and most of my food was old and dried up. Tenders were super old and dry, steak was just weird and chewy. Shrimp was pretty good but my cocktail sauce was left out so it kinda ruined it for me. Best part of my experience was the woman who took my order and the mac and cheese. This location needs some fixing!

  • 5/5 Anthony M. 2 years ago on Google
This location has the best people in service and food prep. I highly recommend it. Be prepared to wait to be seated during peak service times. If you are smart to go a tad earlier than the casual "me me me right now" people, the wait is short.

Went in on Christmas Eve morning and the place was full. Cracker Barrel being full is a very common occurrence for any Sunday morning. More than pleasantly surprised when we were told that it would be a 10 minute wait and that's exactly what it was! Let us know that this Cracker Barrel knew that they would have a busy day and prepared for it by being fully staffed. Somewhat of a rarity in our Post Covid World. This is especially true in the hospitality industry and for restaurants in particular.

I was just here for an hour and 15 minutes. I only received half of my order. My server never came back to check on us, never told us her name. My daughter finished eating. Had to ask for my server. Had it removed from the bill. The manager did not care, did not even apologize, only removed my food... didn't offer a discount. I had to go home to eat. Very poor service and the manager needs customer satisfaction training.
