Food and service was great! I highly recommend the southern pork tacos. Tater tots were possibly the best I’ve ever had. Start with the pretzel bites and beer cheese! The games are awesome. The most pinball machines I’ve ever seen in one location. Most games are old school arcades, so geared more towards adults/older kids, but even our youngsters had a blast. Great way to spend a couple hours!

I love Recbar! Awesome interesting food combinations like the PB&j with banana and back on a waffle sandwich. So many cool pinball machines!!

This was our first time here, was recommended by a friend on the area and we were so happy to check it out! The menu is interesting and there’s something for everyone from tacos to burgers and chicken sandwiches and their famous loaded tots with many flavor options to choose from. The games were plentiful! So many games lined the walls of this large facility unfortunately we didn’t have the time to stick around and play but we are already planned a date night here even though it’s a 45 min drive from home. We ordered a Buffalo Mac n cheese sandwich which was very cheesy and enjoyed very much. Also ordered a grilled chicken club, it came with all the fixins and even a fried egg on top so delish! Both came with a side of tots that were not your average tots they were salty with a small hint of sweetness it was very pleasant! The waitstaff was wonderful too! All in all, great experience. Can’t wait to be back!

The food and drinks are good. The service is friendly and the atmosphere is really cool. They have a lot of old school arcade games and pinball machines from the 80's and 90's like Tekken, Street Fighter, Mortal Kombat, NBA Jam, NFL Blitz, Gauntlet, Pac-Man, Contra and others.

This place has a great vibe. The food is amazing, the service is great, and man....all the video games and pinball machines you can imagine. The tater tots have a really good seasoning and the flavor is amazing. The beer selection is great, you'll definitely find something you'll like.

Delicious food, great waitress. The grouper tacos were insane!! We also had these lil pepperoni eggroll type things. Can't remember the name but I enjoyed them.

Cool little spot to come check out but like most places of this nature the entertainment value runs out fairly quickly. Half of the old-style pinball machines workwell but if you pay close attention you'll be able to get a free game out of most of them. The food is pretty good. Only disappointment was the price of my wife's side salad. It was too much for essentially a coffee cup size worth of greens. My chicken had food flavor and I would have that again. It is worth checking out for a lazy day

Always such a fun place to visit. We seem to always have a stash of tokens leftover somehow. Take advantage of the Photo Booth. It’s fun!

KIDS and ADOLESCENT are NOT welcome! Please be aware that children are not welcome. I don't care what their website or any reviews say. Let me explain. We came in about 8:30pm no later than 8:40pm, we were told there was a wait for a table- ok, the place is busy. We were seated roughly 9:54pm. "Kids" are not allowed after 10pm. While "Kids" is only defined on the menu as 12 and under. We were seated, served, and finished our meal, then paid. I had a bar tab that HAD to be separate from the meal tab. I walked out to the patio to have a smoke right after dinner, while the "Kids" used the remainder of the game tokens and I finished my beer. My "Kids" were approached by the bouncer/security/doorman and told that they had to leave. The "Kids" came and told me about how a grown man approached them and told them to leave with a very stern attitude. Keep in mind that other "Kids" ages from 5 to 15 years old are all over the place. Still seated at tables, playing games, running around. It was painfully obvious that other children were still in the establishment- you could hear and see them in any room of the building. I told the girls to go play games and if the man approached them again to come talk to me and not them. The girls went back in to play games and was immediately targeted by this bouncer/security/doorman. They told him to talk to the parents and told them where we were on the patio. Mr Doorman comes slinging the main door open with a fluffed chest telling me that "Kids" have to leave right now- no exceptions- no excuses. This door is directly next to the patio where we were standing. I explained to him very directly that we were seated less than 10 minutes before 10pm and had been there since at least 8:40pm. He responded sharply with, "We made an announcement". That "announcement" was inaudible to the dining area and seemed to have been made to the game rooms and bar area- I heard something but couldn't make it out. That announcement was made at 10:03pm and we hadn't even seen our waiter yet. He studderd repeatedly and said "Well, keep them with you at all times", then walked back inside with an obvious attitude- yanking the door open. At this point my wife, my daughter, my best friend's daughter and myself had just witnessed the attitude that the "Kids" described when approached by this bouncer/security/doorman- Our first experience and the "Kids" 3rd. My wife is pregnant and not impressed, the "Kids" are feeling awkward and unwelcome, they all walk out together, even though I told them have a good time, spend the tokens, and forget about what grumpy dude said, I'll handle it- they walked out. At this point, I'm no longer happy, I'm ready to get my money back for the tokens I didn't and couldn't use, even though they happily sold them to me, close my bar tab, leave and forget the place exists. So, I go to the bar and get the attention of the guy I opened my bar tab with, tell him I'm ready to cash out and make an attempt to turn the tokens in for credit. I then get informed that I can be given a voucher for the remaining tokens. I explained to him that my family was told to leave the establishment after having dinner and that we are unable to use the tokens and are not expecting to come back. He offered me the manager, the manager comes, goes on defensive about 35% through explaining what happened- never got details- nor did he ask for any. I then forced the details on him. He then said I could take the token refund issue up with the owner- I responded with- "Ok, who, when, and how do I contact?". He responded with, "We don't buy tokens back". I explained to him that the business had no problem seating me, serving me, and selling me tokens, however I'm not welcome to use them because of "Kids" being there immediately after finishing our meal that was happily served after "Kid" hours, while waiting almost if not at least an hour and a half for a table. This post will continue on another review- yeah it will be negative but will also include the positives. I don't want to be unreasonable but need to explain.

A unique and refreshing flashback to 1985. Recbar is one of the few places you can still go and spend 25 cents to play video games/ pinball. Even if a few of the machines ate our quarters, the authenticity of Recbar made up for it. We didn’t try the food, just did a quick walk through and played some games but liked what we saw and will be back for the full drinks, dinner and games experience!

What a fun place. Food was very good and service was good also. I had the bbq tator tots platter which was AMAZING and really enough for 2 people. We also had the philly steak tacos and boneless wings and they were very good also, but hands down the tots were the best!! Also have about 40 pinball machines and another room of old games like pacman, offroad, and skeeball. Would definitely go back!

Overall very fun place and lots of energy. The classic arcade games are a blast. Good selection of alcohol.

Retro arcade with food and drinks. Fantastic place to spend a few hours. Large draft beer and liquor selection. Huge pinball room. Absolutely will come again.

Porky's Totchos. Enough said. Simply amazing. Self described as "an eclectic range of comfort eats, craft beer, plus games". Inside you will find a large assortment of arcade games and well-stocked bar. You'll typically find a 1980s classic playing on the TV. Outside they have a really nice patio area as well.

The drinks were fairly priced. I ordered the pretzel bites and the cheese sauce with it was this curdled amalgamation. It just tasted bad. There was no check back on the food either and it was a slow environment. Otherwise the staff was friendly.

Food was just a bit too salty for me as I've been cutting back, but oh so good! Drinks were great and the service was superb. Atmosphere was a little noisy, but that's how an arcade is supposed to be. A great selection of old and new pinball machines in good condition. (I had been hoping to play the new Rick&Morty machine.) Loved every minute of it. I regret that I was only passing through.

It's a great little spot to spend time with family or catch a drink with friends and the retro video games and pinball machines brought back a lot of memories. My server wasn't as attentive as the others but other than that, it was good.

This is one awesome place to visit! The food is fantastic and the staff is friendly , however could be a bit more attentive especially with a large group As we had there with us there that day . We were in town visiting family at. Christmas time and this is where they had decided they wanted to eat. Great choice, fun atmosphere with a few games and very clean. Friendly staff . Some of the food items are unique but they were delicious! Best. Urged I’ve had in very long time! Will definitely go back her again! The entire family highly recommends this great place! ❤️

Best collection of well-maintained pins in Louisville. Great staff (props to Hannah and April), solid bar food.

So I really do love this pub, but since I've been sick, I haven't really gone inside and have ordered takeout. I've tried to have patience the last 3 times I've purchased the honey I shrunk the tacos because I think "bar food is messy," but today was kind of the last straw. Really, it just seems like they throw 3 tortillas and the ingredients in the to go box and shake it up. I don't understand how the tacos can be so nice, neat, and well constructed in person, but then the to go orders are so impossibly messy that I have to take everything out of the box and reconstruct them myself. Again, I've given the benefit of the doubt, 3 separate times now where I can't even pick up the tacos because they're just that messy. Will be visiting Indiana location next time.

I am not one for negative reviews typically, but I do want to be honest. I have been here twice and both times the food was disappointing. It was bland and everything was overly mushy to the point where I couldn't finish it. Overpriced for the quality. This most recent time we went, we overheard one of the waitresses complaining that our group had decided to sit outside because inside was too crowded. The atmosphere is good though, which is honestly the appeal for most of the customers I believe.

Recbar is a fun place with good food. However I don't like that sometimes there's unattended children next to open bottles of alcohol and other drinks

I took my son right after school as a nice surprise, he absolutely loved it! As expected he wasn't interested in food at all but straight to the games while I sipped and ate. We stayed for almost 3 hours and he still had lots of coins left from my 10 dollar investment. We are going back for sure!

My go to for lunch since I work in the area. Which sucks I don't get to play games. But this place always give me the best vibes. Food is great and the staff is even better. Sara is a Rockstar behind the bar.

Had the chicken avocado, bacon sandwich and it was great!! The tots were really good as well. We sat outside and it was enjoyable. We went inside to play bingo and it was Soo loud with the music, the basketball, air hockey games, people yelling... That we could barely hear the bingo numbers. The service both outside and inside was Not good. We were served our food and we did not get any napkins, the sandwiches were messy and you really need napkins! We had ordered beers before our food was served and did not get them until we were done eating. We went inside to play bingo and there was 1 bartender serving a very large bar area and walk-up customers. We had long waits to get beers. Really not conducive to play bingo...

Enjoyed visiting Recbar. The food menu is varied, with something for all tastes. I particularly enjoyed the names of the menu items. There's a good selection of beer and they do have some non alcoholic beers which is a plus. I was impressed with the arcade selection and appreciate it in contrast to what the more contemporary establishments because there were more old school games and lots of grest pinball games. I'll be back for the games and the food.

The food was good! I had a great time with my family. We loved the fried pickles, and tater tots. I didn't like the torchos (Buffalo chicken egg rolls). They were a little dry, but good effort. The cocktail drink was weak. It was a margarita tea. It wasn't good, so I sent it back. We love the atmosphere, so cool and chill. We will be returning.

Fantastic food, games, and atmosphere. Great for a casual lunch or an evening birthday party. Kid-friendly but not swarming with them.

Always have a good time here after restaurant hours, but brought the kids for their first time for dinner and games and they had a blast! When we first arrived we had one employee (young hostess) that didn't seem too thrilled we were a party of ten (possible miscommunication?), or that my kids were acting like...kids...but our server was great and the other host was cordial. Food was delicious, and we all had a great time!

It was my first time here and it was amazing great food awesome staff. Great draft selection if your into craft beer as I an or looking for a pristine bourbon selection. And the games and pinball machines are top notch. The vibes and atmosphere are incredible. I highly recommend, also they are very family friendly for all ages

Awesome food and service. I got the breakfast burger: bacon cheeseburger waffle sandwich with seasoned tater tots. YUMMY. Pic is appetizer: pulled pork tots.

Went to the right bar to play all the variety of games they have from arcade, basketball, air hockey, driving, and ultimately and the pinball machines. They have awesome old school games, and some of the best recent games that came out. The bathrooms are nicely well-maintained. And then there is an outside smoking section.

Recbar is a lot of fun if you like playing arcade games for the sake of playing the games. They don't do tickets or prizes, but the games they have are great. The food is really good, too; my favorites are the Plumber Rolls and the totchos. The drinks are typical bar prices, so I usually skip them, but my friends who get them say that they're really good. I wouldn't come here just for food, but to play some games and then get something tasty to eat, it's the perfect place.

Good food, a little pricy but serviceable for a bar. Amazing service, everyone was super nice and friendly. The arcade games though. Oh my goodness. Almost every game that wasn't pinball had glaring issues, probably stemming from years of use (and no repair when bought, most likely) with nobody to take care of them.
