This is a really nice medieval town The walls are fun to walk around and there is so much to see. It was one of our favorite places to visit. Nice shops as well. Worth the visit

Really beautiful town where you can feel a bit old styled buildings, roads, walls…everything, which is also famous for its Christmas things. (It would be also nice if we visit in Christmas season with some snows. I hope to visit again.) Houses and atmosphere are well enough harmonized for tourists to feel the old days nostalgia so that every shots will come out perfect and beautiful no matter how you take. Town itself is small enough to look around in half a day. But I recommend you spend some more time to find its real attraction you can find in old houses, unique stores,café/restaurants and so on.

What a beautiful little town to visit! This was probably my favorite thing we saw in our touring of Germany. The streets are cobblestone, with buildings a hundred years old and still maintain their medieval style. You can climb City walls and get a great view of the town. There are also great little shops and cafes to visit. Highly recommend

Quaint picturesque town just 4 hours away from Munich. Famous for its preserved medieval old town and cobble streets. It’s beyond beautiful. If you are a lover of history this place is a must visit. The stores sell Christmas item all year round. Must visit .

Well preserved medieval city takes you to travel in time. Colorful half-timber houses with high-pitched roof are very characteristic features of the settlement. Walking on the city walls is a great activity to observe the city as a whole in a different perspective. There are sevaral stair to climb up the city walls from different points. Don't miss it. Additionally, the settlement is much more facinating in Christmas time!

A beautiful old city with an interesting history. It has survived many wars, now it has to survive the day trippers. Spend a few days here to enjoy the city, the night watchman tour is very good.
