Beautiful space, kind staff. I had the popular red bean sauce with black sesame bingsu because I had to try it and despite knowing that the red bean taste doesn't sit great with me. Well, it was interesting but still red beans are not my fav. 😇

After a big walk in the city and before returning in our guesthouse, we have decided to stop by this place. We read great comments on tripadvisor and other blogs. The Patbingsoo was great and enough for 2. It costed 7000KRW.

Ordered their signature red bean sesame bingsu. Tasteless and pricey, don’t recommend

We ordered the red bean Bingsu. The waiters said it was for sharing between two, but it was huge. It can easily be share between three or four. The Bingsu was absolutely delicious. Very refreshing dessert and the red bean was not overly filling. Highly recommend 👌

Another cosy spot for traditional desserts in Jeonju, and really has the grandma's feels to the ambience. You walk in and you are immediately hit with the nice herbal aroma that fills the restaurant which is somewhat comforting. We got their black sesame and red bean bingsu, along with a traditional Korean herbal drink. The bingsu was surprising as the pairing between red bean and black sesame was surprisingly good together, definitely worth a try.

Best shaved ice I’ve had. The serving of red bean is very generous and the black sesame is so flavourful. It was so good and a perfect cold snack on a hot summer day.

Not only grandma’s best. It’s the BEST dessert in the whole of Jeonju! It’s located away from the main central street. Not really crowded on a Friday afternoon. There’s no parking available nearby, be sure to park at the main village parking lot.

This cute cafe located in the traditional hanok village area is easily 5 stars. They serve traditional Korean dessert and tea that is delicious whilst sticking to the traditional flavours and ingredients. I had the sweet red bean shaved ice and omija tea which was tart and citrusy. No wonder this place has been recognised as a UNESCO creative food establishment. Even if you're not blown away by the food, it's the perfect stop to take a break from everything.

We had our bingsu at outdoor table. The sesame and red bean bingsu was so nice! Kiosk machine to order and only card payment accepted.

Easily one of the best bingsu places I have ever tasted after being a frequent traveller to Korea. Indeed, this place holds alot of awards and it stays true to its name. The mochis placed on top of the bingsu was so scrumptious and mixed very well with the other flavours. I've never really liked red bean bingsu, but this hits different with the red bean-matcha combination. This place is such an underrated hidden gem, tucked in the Hanok Village! However, it's a place that you must go!! You could ask the staff for the English menu and they would help you with it.

The red bean with sesame bingsoo was super good! The combination of red bean and sesame was so unexpectedly good and I enjoyed it thoroughly despite the cold weather. Would recommend!

Tried the persimmon sherbet and red bean bingsu. Persimmon sherbet was unique and delicious, but overall slightly pricey. Beautiful location though for a mid-day rest stop.

What a place to cool down in summer! The red bean ice cream has never been my thing so I let the rest of the family eat that. I did however DEMOLISH the Bean Deok ice cream. What an amazing flavour. Not too sweet, great portion size and an overall grat location. The place is busy so expect a 10-15 minute wait in summer.

The red bean bingsu and yuzu tea (hot) is great! Well maintained, clean and calming ambience. Chanced upon this Unesco Creative Food Establishment. Must visit if you are in the area.

Had the Sesame Red Bean Patbingsu. The flavor and mix of the crushed sesame mixed with the red bean paste and chewy whole red bean is amazing! Highly recommended. Note: it seems you're expected to return your tray and bowl to the counter after eating.

Usually I don't like red beans products, but their bingsu is simple delicious. Vanilla bingsu (on the right) was also outstanding and extremely soft.

Sells Korean ice flakes with redbean. But the taste is not as good as its popularity. This is just an ordinary restaurant, nothing special about it. Def not a must try place.

The sesame red bean sherbet is a must-try. Wonderful combination of black sesame shavings with red bean - why didn't I have this back home! Only KRW7000 too.
