Catch the night market held on Friday and Saturday nights, with the peak period around 8pm. Delicious street food that are not overpriced. Be sure to check out the two roof markets: with live bands, fairy lights, stores selling unique items and even free movie screenings, you are guaranteed to enjoy yourself as much as I did!

The market is massive. visited on a weekday afternoon around 5pm and most of the food and fresh produce stalls were closed, but there were still loads of dried goods, clothing, furniture, hardware stalls open, and a few eateries. Well worth a visit in the morning if you want to check out local products!

It’s a great day market and rather diverse from food to clothing to furniture. What makes this great is it is near a traditional Korean area complete with palace and if you wander you will find hidden garden areas.

If you want street food, this is the only place to go in Jeonju. Go at night as it's mostly dead during the morning/noon time. Bring cash but some places take card. They even had some American food like Pulled Pork and Tacos.

When I went through was very lifeless unfortunately. Not sure if it was the time of day, the effects of covid or both.

Es war ziemlich enttäuschend. Wer hier nach Essen sucht ist falsch. Der Markt dient eher der Bevölkerung für den alltäglichen Einkauf.

Great little local market, plenty of places to eat and get local snacks, better than the touristy part of Jeonju.

We visited the market on a Friday evening around 8pm. This place is happening ... it was full of people, and vendors selling a variety of foods and snacks. The surrounding area has lots of shopping to do as well. We had a great time eating and shopping till 10+pm.

Nambu night market is worth a visit when you are in Jeonju. Quite a number of food stalls to choose from at reasonable prices.

Perfect amount of options for a night market. Not overwhelming, but plenty of choices. Everything we tried was delicious.

It was underwhelming… Food is actually on the pricey side for what you get probably because its a popular tourist site. Store owners are not that friendly and will try to fleece you if you’re a foreigner. Skip this market and give the local restaurants a try!

Enjoyed this market. It was not too busy when we were there which is perfect for me. Bought a few clothing items, kitchen wares and had a delicious espresso.

Good eating options, from Kongnamul Gukbap (soybean soup with rice) and Sundae Guk Bap (blood sausage and big intestine soup with rice). And you can get anything you need from kitchen appliances to pillows.

Really nice traditional korean market. There are really good korean restaurants inside the narrow streets in the market. They don't have English menu.

Pretty boring place if you are here for holiday. If you are looking for household items or accessories or groceries, that’s the place to go. Food stalls and restaurants didn’t look too great

Largest open market in Jeonju. To help revitalize the market, younger generations are setting up shops with cool artisan crafts and foods for sale. Downstairs is the usual open market and above has a fresh twist. Love the merging of old and new. Be sure to check out the taco shop.

Came here looking for the Night Market that's supposed to happen on Fridays and Saturdays from 6 to midnight, but it was a ghost town. Asked our local host about it and apparently the night market part is no longer a thing and I'm not sure when it stopped. Probably a normal market during the daytime, but there's almost nothing opened past 6pm.

Market seems interesting but the night market which was said to be open fridays, was not open today, the shops were all closing and it was just us and a few other confused visitors

I was told Nambu market is a night market, so I went during the night time. About 90% of the shop was close when I was there around 8pm. I did found a Sundae Guk Bap (blood sausage and intestine soup). The broth was super tasty (the best I had in a long time) would highly recommended. I wish I stay longer in Jeonju to experience the rest of the market.
