We chose the nine-course tasting menu with matched Amontillado sherries. The food, and the sherries were stunning, and the pairings very thoughtfully chosen. With excellent, friendly service and explanations of the dishes this was an experience to savour and remember for a long time.

You would think a place like this would be able to serve good vegan food - would know their plant based food well enough to create something interesting and tasty. Also, they did not know that eggs were not vegan. Sherry is good and fun with pairing, but I can’t recommend this place for vegans.

Great restaurant with amazing dishes and all kinds of tastes and surprises. We had the tuna tartar and tomatoe tartar which were a delight followed by tuna stake and another white fish - croake, cooked to perfection with the right planting. To top it off we had the chocolate soufle which was my favorite. Didn't have any alcohol but the selection was huge. I'm taking off one star from the review as the waiters didn't change the cutlery between the dishes (especially after eating pate as a starter). Other than that it was amazing

The most beautiful restaurant in Jelez de la Frontera, The best sherry wine ( fino ) pairing experience, incredible food, perfect matching with very warm hospitality, highly recommended.

A favourite when we are in Jerez. An extensive listing of Sherry wines by the glass and ingredient led dishes ! Nice informal service, with great opportunity to pair different styles of Sherry with tasty dishes. Lovely setting for a relaxed dining experience. Thank you team

Very tasty food, great presentation, definitely something more refined and interesting compared to the standard Spanish cuisine you might have while visiting. The fish dishes were good, and the slow cooked porc delicious. It’s worth the treat.

Terrific food in Jerez with a romantic setting. We came back twice to enjoy their food. Sherry selection of course impeccable.

Great tasting menu built around local sherry wine. Every course presented different sherries, not only in the glass but also within the dishes. Few drops of flor de fino on top of languistine tartar was marvellous idea. Great attentive service, and with our request, in spanish thus allowing us to practise our elementary, yet developing, local language skills.

I was really struggling with this review.. Wanted to go 4 or 5, thinking about 3. Phew, this is going to be long, sorry! The food is wonderful. Perfectly balanced with the wine. I was there on a Thursday evening, had the solo Palo menu. Started out with an experienced waiter.. information about wine/beer/god was perfect.. and as the evening progressed - phew.. The few experienced waiters (just my personal experience) where busy waiting on tables with more people on them. And of course (which I respect) had to talk to the local regulars.. understandable and good service.. Leaving me with introvert and less experienced waiters serving the food with little or no information - one dish was put in front of me with words "tunar".. asking about it, was ignored by the busy waiter.. having to guess the dish is annoying, just as going back to my picture of the menu and see what they are serving. So sad, made the evening really "tame". Would rather have spend 60 minutes more and have them, have time for me as a customer. Also a piece of advice, for the less experienced waiters.. stop being in a hurry.. during one dish, I was asked 3 times if I was done.. ..... With more than half the food on my plate... If it is not because you are less experienced, but maybe just scared of English. Leave the English speaking tables for other waiters. We are nicely greeted and asked which language we Again Wonderful, beautiful place. Very nice wine card/list.. but when they are busy, the service becomes mediocre (and that is rasing it a bit).. sorry, but that was my experience! After they got busy, I was lucky to get a short while with an experienced waiter.. After thinking it through.. cutting it down to 3 stars. But mostly because I felt like a 2nd class customer the latter half of the evening. Will I come back.. probably.. the food and wines are wonderful. Value for money is through the roof. There are knowledgeable waiters there and good service (most of the time). But next time, I will demand more! And finally - raised or back to a 4 star.. for the lat me, I was lucky that a knowledgeable waiter was serving the wines (might have chosen them?). Food was still "thrown" in front of me, except for two dishes served by the mentioned waiter. The wine experience was 5 star worthy for the last meals. Again, I might have been caught in a moment of them being very busy. But this reflects my experience.. good and bad..

Superb! If you are in Jerez, a restaurant not to miss. The service and food were both terrific and came recommended by the locals. The restaurant itself is in an old bodega which makes for a fabulous atmosphere. The iconic tuna tartar was outstanding.

When I was wandering around searching for bodegas that had all closed and it started raining, they took me in and served me a glass of fino even though I was horribly underdressed. Thank you!

Sherry selection was excellent. But compared to that the food was pretty meh. Individually good ingredients that did not work that well together. Some pretty awesome dishes though like gazpacho with anchovies.

Incredible food, all dishes shone in simplicity but all just perfectly cooked with subtle touches

Excellent food but, if you are tourist it's a bit second division. We felt rushed and the service was disjointed , we dealt with 6 different people. Dishes taken away without being finished and dishes brought to the table with no cutlery in place. If the service met the quality in the kitchen it would be 5 stars. Our advice don't go at a weekend when the local residents are about, or failing that adopt a Jerez citizen to dine with..Kamaron , T22 and Albores much better. In our opinion to much lighting ,a bit school dinner hall but still a beautiful room, our guess old bodega

The best meal & wine pairing I have ever had. Service is 5 stars too. Decoration perfectly compliments the atmosphere. We went for a Menu named Albariza and enjoyed every plate and pairing. It was a delicious tour through local alcoholic beverages with tasting-like service. It was an absolute pleasure to visit that place. If you really want to make your visit to Jerez more than memorable, go to this place.
