Simply beautiful experience. Traditional and home made food, elaborated with intention and you can definitely feel it. Attention was implacable.

Lovely place, waiters are super friendly and in there you feel the strong character of Andalucia, since walls are full of traditional stories. All dishes are very good and traditional. Don't miss it!

This was my favourite place in Jerez. It has character and soul. Felt really authentic, rammed with locals, fantastic service, great food and great sherry. Staff were fantastic, really friendly. Wish I had a place like this near me.

Amazing! Friendly staff, fast service. The pulpo (octopus) is amazing in addition to the spanish shrimp fritters (tortilla de camarones). Really good for tapas. Reasonable prices. Give it a try!!!

It's one of the best restaurants that we have tried. Staff are very friendly and very knowledgeable about the food! Must try if you're not from Spain. Lo mejor!

Traditional bar with great tapas and raciones. Seating limited but a little patience and you will find some. Bar staff efficient and helpful

Loved the food here😍 Looked it up at Google and how right it was! Absolutely amazing food here and loved the service. Only miss! - that I couldn't fit more food in... I have to come back!😍😘

We went here for lunchtime on a Sunday and it was heaving! At first there was a little confusion about reservations but you can just put your name down and then wait for them to call you in. Amazing tapas and ambience in a very authentic feeling place. Aircon was great and much needed. Loads of tapas options - we went for mainly tapas options with one big course of the polpo! Wine was cheap and delish. Definitely recommend the tomatoes and the garlic prawns - yum

Extraordinary Tapas in an Extraordinary Neighborhood Atmosphere. What a great restaurant and experience. We went with a private tour guide who loves tis place. We see why. Incredible menu, wonderful atmosphere, perfect service. I have never felt more local or welcome in a restaurant while on a trip as I did here. All four in our group agreed. Among the many things we tried were garlic prawn croquettes, grilled octopus with potatoes, salmorejo (gazpacho), prawns in garlic oil, cured pork loin and Spanish cured ham. Every single item was done to perfection. I highly highly recommend locals and tourists to try this restaurant/bar. Warning, it is very small and crowded. But it is totally worth it.

Officially obsessed 😍 The waiters, the food, the atmosphere was impressive, authentic and delicious. You will not go wrong here. Rabo del Toro was the best thing on the menu, paired with a Palo Cortado & Fino Sherry. Tables and spots by the bar are hard to find at peak lunch time (2 PM), better to go at 3 PM (after all the sherry wine tastings) 😉

What a tabanco! Always jam-packed with locals. The food, the wine, the energy. This place is always buzzing. Great staff and a wonderful place for a catch-up with friends. Be mindful - no reservations!

Good service, large and tasty tapas for the price. I can recommend Rabo de Toro, Patatas Bravas, Riñones, Chicarones, and Montadito de Presa Ibérico. Please note that this place has exactly the same menu and kitchen like Taberna Jerez. If you've been there already, no need to visit Las Banderillas.

Recommended by our hotel and we almost did not make it cuz the bar was crowded for Friday lunch and there was a festival in town ! We are glad that we stayed - everything was delicious and super reasonably priced ! Loved the crispy pork belly! Sangria was great too !

That's my 5 starts for Tapas restaurant in Jerez! Perfect tapas, delicious, high quality, simple and super tasty. Service is great, carrying, very friendly and welcoming. The vibe is sociable, local, athletic and fun. Location is perfect, just in the middle of the old city. Enjoy 😊

Fantastic buzzing atmosphere, somehow the servers still manage to smile and keep their mood up amidst the busy service. Food’s great, I tried a variety over 2 visits: fried setas (mushrooms), revuelto con bacalao (scrambled eggs and bacalao), Gambas Al Ajillo Croquettas & Rabo de Toro (oxtail - I specifically requested for no potatoes). Everything was excellent. The boss and staff were really gracious, giving a homeless lady a hot meal on one of the evenings I was there.

Highly recommend, great food (the croquettes were so good, as was the cold soup). Many other things I would like to have tried. Service was friendly and prompt, nice looking old bar. Does get very busy (Sunday at 8.30 we had the last place to sit down)

We have been out on the early evening. It was the only restaurant full of people, mostly Spanish. It was an extraordinary experience, very original. The service was prompt explaining what they have on top of what is on the menu. Very good and very fast service, very nice. Loud atmosphere, but full of life! Perfect! The meal was perfect, delicious, on point and not expensive. Super fast and perfect service.

We ate there today following a recommendation. I would not eat there again. The Patatas bravas were fried potatoes with Marie Rose sauce! Dreadful. They were nothing like Patatas bravas. Think they were closing and had none left so they just put anything on the potatoes. They should have been honest and said they were ready to close. Cannot recommend a restaurant which will serve anything to take business. Waitress came out with bill so they could close up. It was 5.00pm.

NOT HAPPY! Found this on the last night of 4 night trip despite it being 50m from our apartment. By far and away the best bar and food we found in jerez. Very fresh seafood and meats and excellent service in an authentic atmosphere you wont find in the old town. Get in early!

Wow!!! Found this on our last night in jerez, wish we had Found it earlier. Great atmosphere, really busy but fantastic quick service. The food was superb...my husband had a pork stew which he said was the best pork he has eaten. I had the most delicious scallops served very simply in the shell with lemon and olive oil. Great ingredients served at their best. We had a few other dishes, sorry can't remember what else we had, but everything was excellent.

Always crazy crowded with groups spilling onto the sidewalk - but it's a solid place to go for tapas that exemplify Jerez. It's the same place as Taberna Jerez down the street, at Plaza Arenal. Same menu. But there's only indoor seating here, and the ambience is more like a cozy tabanco. No coffee machine, unfortunately!

Wonderful little neighborhood place with delicious food and reasonable prices. very little standing room only outside and it does get extremely crowded so try to go early. We had the mojama, a jerky like appetizer made of tuna, carillada (beef cheek stew) and oxtail stew.

🫤 Great price (13.95€ per person) for a buffet. They have a selection of different Italian foods like pastas, pizzas and salads. However, the food can get a bit repetitive and boring the second time you stand up to fill up your tiny plate. The quality wasn’t great either, the Milanesa Chicken (bread...

👍👍 We found this place by accident on our first afternoon and returned every day for lunch. We worked our way through the menu and there was not one thing that we did not like. Fantastic quality tapas and meals at good prices.
